The base gun can shoot at about 13 meters; for the Bryson 890, it's about 12. The lock with 300 is about 14. So this one has the smallest one-shot kill range at about 10 meters, but you can't really help it either, so most people probably say, "Well, why is it so good?" Then, well, it's got seven rounds in its tube, and it's got such a great rate of fire that it really makes up for it in my opinion, and if you aim down sights, you can get those one-shot kills out to 10 meters, and that is no joke.
I mean, this thing on smaller maps can just demolish people, and yes, you don't have the range of the other shotguns, but this one's just so good, and you have to aim down sights. The hip-fire build doesn't work quite as well on this shotgun I found, but aiming down sights is really the way to go, and I promise this will be one of the best shotguns in the game.
Long as you aim down sights consistently next, up a little bit more of an unorthodox pick, but I really think it's good and you just gotta give it a try, are the slug rounds on the Bryson 890.
Bryson 890 slugs build
The Bryson choke is going to help keep our slug accurate because, in this game, slugs can be very inaccurate and go left or right in all kinds of crazy directions. This is going to help mitigate that to a little degree, and then the VOK7 milliwatt is going to help get our aim down sight speed nice and good, and that combined with the FSS Guardian stock gives us a nice boost to our aiming stability.
You really want to be stable when you aim and move around. You don't want to be like the sawed-off stock, where it's really kind of jumping around a lot. You can do it okay if you want to like quick scope and stuff; it's doable, but this is the most solid one for things like slugs, sniping, and getting a real long-range, one-shot kill.
Of course you want to use slugs, and then you want to use the demo X50 tactical to get a better aim down sight speed as well as that better rate of fire, which is really important on these guns, and with slugs in this game you have nice one-shot kill potential from the stomach and up. So for stomach shots, it's going to be about 13 meters, but the really nice thing is that you can one-shot a chest out to about 30 meters, which is really nice.
So it basically makes it like a marksman rifle with stomach one-shot kill potential, which is why you would probably want to use it over a marksman rifle. But then, of course, you can get one-shot headshots out to about 55 meters, which is really far, and that's probably as far as you'll ever need to go on a 6v6 map.
Yeah, you can't really one-shot or snipe people, unfortunately. That does it for my article on the top five meta loadouts for shotguns. I might update this list once in a while if some new updates come out. Nerf some of the shotguns with a new shotgun coming, maybe that'll change as well, but I really think these are some of the best, and of course, it's very subjective, so just keep that in mind.
One build that might work for me might not be entirely great for you because you may like to hit fire or you're a little bit slower. I'm a very aggressive player, and I like to aim down sights with my shotguns quite a bit.
