News - The Correct Warzone 2 Settings For Ranked Play - Updated For 2024
Mw3 ranked play graphics settings
In this article, I will go over the correct graphics, audio, and controller settings for the Warfare 3 range. Playay, if you learn something, you have to both subscribe and like the article for the algorithm, and number one, of course, is the graphics. My settings are full-screen borderless, but if you're only playing on the PC, do full-screen exclusive.
This is what's best for input delay. Make sure your proper display monitor and graphics card are chosen in the settings, as well as your refresh rate and your display resolution being the correct aspect ratio. We have this on automatic in the display game; we're at 2.2. My brightness is at 59, somewhere in that range, but this will be a personal preference depending on your monitor.
I have my reflex low latency on plus boost. If you're limited by your graphics card, put this on. If you're limited by your CPU, put this on plus boost. EC mode I have efficiency vsync off vsync in the menu at 100%, my custom frame limit with a gameplay frame limit of 300, the menu at 70 and out of focus at 30; growing out of focus mode, we have this at 90; further down, we have HDR that's off; and that's it for the display.
Going into quality My graphic preset is custom; make sure your render resolution is at 100 dynamic resolution. I have this off. My upscaling is Fidelity Cast, with a strength of 100. This is important for the game to look incredibly sharp as you're playing my path-tracing. I have this on an off-varm scale.
Target is at 90 with variable rate shading off. Scrolling down, we're going to go through these settings pretty quickly. That way, if you're following along, you can just go one by one. The texture resolution is very low, the filter has a low depth of field, and the detail quality level is low. Low-bullet impacts have persistent effects.
Shader quality is low on demand for texture streaming; make sure this is off. The local texture streaming quality has this on low, going down to shadows. Shadow quality is very low for screen space. Shadows is off ambient inclusion and off screen space. Reflections of static reflection quality are low.
Now into the environment, we have tessellation, off volumetric quality, low deferred physics quality, off weather grid volumes, off water quality, and that's it for the quality portion. Going down to the view, Personal preference in the field of view If you're on the controller, don't go higher than 107.
If you're on a keyboard and mouse, you're more than welcome to bump it up to 120. As a general rule of thumb, I would probably stick above 95 to 100. The ad field of view has this in the affected weapon field of view. I have this on hand. If you're playing on PS5 and get that weird 200-foot glitch, keep this on default, and you won't get that problem anymore for the camera.
Keep world motion blur off, weapon motion blur off, the film grain should be zero, and then 50% for the first and third person camera movement scrolling down to inverted flashbang. I have this off, but these are all personal preferences. To finish out the graphics and the gameplay portion, we're going to go to the interface, which is what I use under my color customization.
If you scroll down, I play on Filter 2 both, and then I adjust the world color intensity to 85 and the interface to 100. This just makes the game look a little bit more bright and vibrant, so I recommend that setting there. If you scroll down to the HUD bounds, you want to make sure that this is as close to the center of your screen as possible.
Some people might have it set to their monitor bounds, but you really don't want to do that because this only affects the HUD. So for the mini map, the kill streaks, and all their aspects, you want them to be as close to the center as possible. That way, if you're checking for red dots on the mini map or where your teammates are positioned, you don't have to look up and to the left as far towards that mini map shape.
Make sure you have this on square with rotation on. For my personal preference, I like the horizontal compass off-crosshairs. Make sure this is on static. I like to go further into the settings and turn the center dot on. With the scale being larger, this just keeps everything very stationary in the center of the screen instead of having all that movement of the crosshairs.
When you're spinning around and scrolling down to the rest of these, go to Settings. There's nothing too important in the rest of them that's going to be for the graphics and interface.
Mw3 ranked play audio settings
Up next is audio. I have this on my PC speaker. If you're on the PC and can choose this option, do so. If you're on a console, I would use Soundbar. The way that Soundbar adjusts the EQ, especially on a console, makes it much easier to hear footsteps.
But on a PC, keep this on a PC speaker. Make sure your actual output device is chosen here with the speaker output of stereo master volume 100, and the rest of my settings are here now. I don't use loudness EQ, but I'm going to show you how to do so if you want to hear footsteps, especially in Search and Destroy.
If you're on Windows 10, you want to go into your playback sounds, choose your output device, and hit properties. Then go to enhancements; you would want to choose loudness EQ, and hit apply. I would pretty much do this only while playing the game because that's when it would bump up the sound of the footsteps and lower the sound of the loud explosions and the gunshots.
I ended up getting my entire PC, graphics and audio included, optimized via FPS Hub. You can use code Lunch; it'll save you some money, and I really trust all the people there, so if you're in the market for optimizing your PC, optimizing your audio, optimizing your internet, they have done all of mine, and I have great results, so I fully trust them.
Check them out in the description. We're going to continue on with the rest of the audio settings. We have the voice chat output and device (microphone level). A lot of this is subjective. The next important one is to have mono audio off and reduce the sound on tonight.
Mw3 ranked play controller settings
I'll scroll through the rest of these, and lastly, for controllers, if you are on PC, I'm going to show you how to overclock your controller. To my knowledge, the download is safe. I've had this for a while with no issues, but once you get this file downloaded, you're going to want to click on setup and let that run.
When it does, you'll see all of your devices plugged into your computer from here. Scroll through the names and find the one that says wireless controller or controller. If you want to double check that you have the right one, you can unplug your controller, watch it disappear, and then plug it back in to verify that you have the right one.
