News - Will Modern Warfare Zombies Be Any Good. Warzone 2i Zombies Details
This is by no means a replacement for round-based zombies. I totally understand that, and I can see why a lot of Dead at Old School zombie fans would be pretty upset with this type of zombie experience because, like I said, it's just not the same thing as round-based zombies. But I do think it's shaping up to be quite an interesting mode, and I could see this definitely hooking many players out there; they'll be really interested in this style of mode.
I think it's going to be a good casual place to play because there's no PVP in this, unlike DMZ. This is all PVE, and you're just working together with other squads so this isn't going to be like a highly competitive mode or anything although you can also choose your level of difficulty depending on the zone that you go in on the map like we talked about so I could definitely see this mode being quite successful, now as far as my personal interest in this to be honest it depends almost entirely on what the weapon XP earn rates are looking like one thing that really got me invested in zombies and Black Ops cold war is it provided, pretty solid weapon XP earn rates and therefore anytime a new gun dropped if it wasn't a very good gun or I just wasn't in the mood for the highly competitive skill-based match making in regular public matches with that gun with no attachments.
Well, zombies in that game provided a nice place where I could just kind of chill, listen to some music, and grind some easy weapons, and I'm hoping that this version of zombies will also allow for that. Like I said. I'm not always in the mood to play like I'm in a tournament in regular public matches, especially if talking about some of the weaker weapons or some of the weapons that just rely on attachments to be decent.
It would be great to be able to hop into this Zombies mode and just grind through a bunch of weapon levels to at least get me on my feet before I take that gun into multiplayer, and honestly, that's probably the only thing that will bring me into this mode, and that's just a preference-based thing.
I never really got into DMZ, but I can see why people enjoy it, especially as a mode to play with friends. I think it would be a really fun experience, but I'm generally a solo gamer. I just like to play on my own. I don't like coordinating with a squad. I don't really like talking when I'm playing, at least not to other people in the game.
I'll talk to my stream, of course, but I don't like coordinating in the game and stuff. I like just sort of turning on the game and doing my own thing, so DMZ never really appealed to me all that much, and I think it's going to be a pretty similar story here with the zombies.
