News - What Are The New Ranked Play Meta Guns Warzone 2. Full Stat Comparison
Range & ttk comparison
And right now it seems everybody sort of scrambling trying to find what the new ranked play meta is with these additional weapons added and I essentially just wanted to help that process Along by sharing all of the information for you guys in direct side by-side comparisons , and let's just dive right into the meat of this comparison with our range and time to kill comparisons with all of the guns that are Curr ly Up For Debate in ranked play at least and with this chart you can see I've got the SMGs at the top and the assault rifles at the bottom and I do have them sorted within each of their categories by their time to kill potential in Close Quarter situations, so with the SMGs you can see the wsp Swarm is the fastest killing but it has a very short range within that fastest time to kill the ram 9 is incredible in this area and honestly the one that has me the most concerned with this addition into ranked play we can see we've got a very solid five shot kill potential for a 260 millisecond time to kill and then it's also worth noting beyond that we've always got a 325.
Millisecond, time to kill potential at any range which is significantly better than every single one of the assault rifles at long range and that's pretty crazy to see especially when we look at recoil in just a little bit after that we've got the Rival 9 which is of course the SMG that everybody's been using up until this point and then finally for SMGs we have the HRM 9 that was just added and while this one does kill very slightly slower than the Rival nine it has a very noticeably better five shot kill range, although the big downside with the HRM 9 is it drops from a six shot kill immediately to an eight shot kill Beyond 30 m, and it does have by far the slowest time to kill potential at range for these SMGs.
As for the assault rifles that are now available, the BP50 is the fastest killing out of all of these at 280 milliseconds, but it also has the shortest maximum damage range, so it seems more designed for something like a flex roll. Then we've got the MTZ 556. This one kills in just 296 milliseconds, and that potential extends out to about 30 5 m, which is very solid.
After that, we have the Hogar 556, which is the only one of these assault rifles capable of killing in four shots, but with a slower rate of fire, it's technically killing a bit slower than the MTZ 556 at 306 milliseconds. And then finally, we have the MCW, which previously was the only available assault rifle in ranked play, and this one has always killed fairly slowly to the body at 336 milliseconds.
But the big change with the MCW came from its headshot multiplier, which they actually just eliminated in a recent update, so that's literally as good as you're going to get with the MCW, whereas previously you could cut that down significantly by just mixing a single headshot in and speaking of head shots. I'm sure many of you guys are curious since with this chart we're just showing the best time to kill potential to the body while hitting that bonus zone, so typically like the upper torso and arms, or sometimes the torso and arms.
Headshot ttk comparison
So now let's look at the next chart, which will include headshot potential, and just to help you read this a little bit anywhere where I have in brackets, one, two, or three HS means head shot, so this is how many head shots are required, combined with those bonus body zone shots in order to reduce that number of shots to kill.
In most cases, you're not going to be seeing any benefit from headshots, but you can see that with many of these guns, there's a bunch of specific ranges where headshots are going to be helpful, and one of the big standouts here immediately. Is the ram 9, not only does it have that amazing time to kill potential to the body that extends out to a pretty crazy range for an SMG?
It also has the best headshot potential out of the SMGs because in that maximum damage range all you have to do is mix one head shot in with body shots for a 195. Millisecond time to kill and that completely dominates every single gun on this list, and this is yet another reason that I'm a little concerned about the ram 9 being added here as for the assault rifle category it is worth noting with the MTZ 556, if we mix two head shot in with body shots in that maximum damage range we can now get a four shot kill for a time to kill potential of 222 milliseconds which is extremely fast as well not quite as amazing as the ram 9 but still very difficult to compete with and then one last interesting thing I just wanted to point out here is with both the bp50 and the MCW.
Recoil comparison
As we can see here, obviously the WSP Swarm has the most recoil, and therefore it's clearly not going to be the most versatile SMG. It just might be something for really specialized play. Then, with the Ram 9, this is a very accurate gun. Sure, it does lean a little to the right, but that can be corrected with attachments quite easily, and most importantly, with those initial bullets that you fire, they're very tight and close together, which makes this a very dangerous gun.
After that, we've got the Rival 9, which has quite a bit of zigzag to its recoil at this point, and I would say it's very noticeably worse than the Ram 9, and it's also noticeably worse than the HRM 9, which doesn't have a ton of total magnitude. But the thing about the HRM 9 is that it has quite a bit of initial recoil, so it will jump quite a bit with those initial 10 or so shots that you fire, and those are obviously very important shots, so I consider that to be noticeably less accurate than the ram 9, so with the ram 9, not only does it have the best range time to kill and headshot potential, but in the SMG category it's also got the best recoil out of all of these SMGs.
Next, let's get into the assault rifle side of things, and as you can see here, the BP50 is incredible in this area; it's got a little bit of side-to-side bounce but not much, and it kicks basically straight upward with just a slight lean to the right. The MTZ 556 has a little bit of a zigzag but not much magnitude of recoil, and those initial shots kick straight upwards, so not too bad to control but definitely not the most accurate assault rifle.
The recoil on the hoger 556, I believe, was unintentional. Since the patch notes stated it was meant to be more accurate, it's actually less accurate after that one, and then finally, with the MCW. I still consider this to be the king of accuracy because it's got basically no horizontal recoil; it kicks literally straight upward with not much of a gap between those shots, and that wraps it up for what I consider to be the second most important stat.
Miscellaneous stat comparisons
Next, let's just get into some miscellaneous stats that I also feel are quite important when we're considering our guns for ranked play.
