Today we got a major weapon meta update here in War Zone in MW2, which is likely going to be the final meta update of the MW2 year, so with that being said, we got a bunch of patch notes to break down as we get into it if you're new to the channel and you want to guarantee you're always up to date with everything going on between MW3 coming up here in War Zone.

Here on Monday. On the October 23rd update, initially, we had just straight up Modern Warfare 2, multiplayer, weapon updates, and meta updates here, so for SMGs. The mini boach, they reduced the close damage range and then also reduced the close damage range amount, so the mini box got some slight Nerfs in the MP, the vasnev, which they spelled wrong, they reduced the close damage range as well on the shroud, they reduced the mid and far damage range on the iso, they reduced the far damage range on the P90, and they increased the mid damage range.

The fenick increased the mid-damage range, and the bass P increased the mid-damage range, so a couple of these got buffed, but most of them actually got nerfed. For the rifles, the Guist reduced the damage to the close-damage range; they reduced the close-damage amount for the range. Reduced arm, leg, and torso location, damage, and increased the long range damage amount, so some Buffs and some Nerfs there worse up close, better overrange, basically also favor upper body shots, the 762; they buffed it for close range, the 74u.

They reduced the close damage range, increased the long damage range amount, and reduced the leg location damage, so some buffs and some nerfs on tag 56 reduced the close damage range. The advancer increased the close damage range. Increased mid- and long-term damage range amounts M16 increased the mid-damage range, which is probably still going to be very bad.

If I had to guess right, the razor back increased the close-damage range. They also increased the mid- and long-damage range of amounts, so that got buffs all around. That's nice to see the M4 increase the close-range Lockman 5.56; they increased the close and mid-damage range battle rifles; all of these ended up getting buffed; they increased the mid-damage range on the Squall; they increased the base damage range on the S4 and the 762.

Lot of typos in this one, and the FTAc Recon increased the close damage range for shotguns. The Lockwood 300. M Storm dual trigger with 12 gauge and dragon's breath they reduce the damage range so the one shot broken shoty gets nerfed even more with that on the Bryson the 12 gauge and dragon's breath got its range reduced as well on the expedite 12 they increase the close to mid damage range on the broad side for the 12 gauge the range got increased and then for dragon's breath they reduced the damage range on that so Buffs for 12 gauge Nerfs for dragon breath, for Marks and rifles they reduce the damage range on the EV For the Tempest torrent, they reduced the mid-damage range on the spr; they increased the mid-damage range so the spr was the only one with a buff there for lmgs; they also buffed the Ral for mid-to-far damage.

For some bug fixes, here they fixed an issue with split-screen functionality, an issue where they could CR, an issue where a crash could occur when starting the haunting from the co-op Lobby, and an issue where exiting the title screen and re-entering the main menu says it Yeah, you have zero souls, basically.

What is likely going to be the final main meta update for War Zone before MW3? Of course, you guys always see me rocking my Gamer Advantage frames every single day. I love these things. Basically, if you're looking at screens for long periods of time, whether it is gaming, working at school, or whatever it may be, these are ultimately major game changers.

I've even got my own custom's immortal bundle that comes with a few branded things as well, like a cleaning cloth and stickers, so some pretty cool stuff there. If you ever want to pick up anything at all on the Gamer Advantage site, I bundle a different pair of frames. So for this rifle on the 762, they nerfed the close to mid-damage head multiplier, the neck multiplier, and the upper torso multiplier.

Pretty drastic Nerfs for the 762, which already wasn't that top-tier rifle on the Lockman 556. The head damage multiplier was buffed, so that's nice to see on the gauge they Nerf the close damage and the close to mid damage the mid damage. The head multiplier and the limb multiplier, so the gist is getting Nerfs all around again.

That's a bummer to see because it was kind of the best rifle, the M13. They nerfed the close damage, but they buffed the head multiplier, but they nerfed the neck and torso multipliers, so head shots are really valuable on the M13. On the M4, the close-to-mid-damage range was also buffed. For attachments, on the loid 300, the dual trigger 12 gauge Shell close damage range Nerf is close to mid-damage range.

Nerf mid- and Nerf mid-damage range NERF mid-to-far damage range Nerf, so if you have the dual trigger in the 12 gauge, it's going to be nerfed all around there basically, and then on the 12 gauge dragon's breath close damage range. Nerf is close to mid-damage. Nerf is close to mid-damage range. Nerf was again really important there, and then on the Slugs, the close to mid damage was also nerfed there, so definitely an important Nerf to the shotgun.

Yet again, this thing's been obvious. Very busted here in the war zone, being very obnoxious to run into, so hopefully this is a significant Nerf that actually knocks it out of just dominating. The close-range meta obviously has no changes to the SMGs; here so far, so kind of surprised by that, but that does basically say. Hey, it's a little bit more open now for close range, which is definitely nice to see.

We also have some bug fixes here. They fixed an issue that could cause character model arms to miss a line when switching out of a vehicle, an issue where players could obtain an unintentional Juggernaut kill streak from the UFO, so that was actually a bug.
