News - Warzone 2 Sniper Rifles Ranked Worst To Best
one-shot potential, but rather than falling off at 36 meters, the SPX retains this up to 45 meters. This 45-meter one-shot kill is very consistent in standard multiplayer, and it still functions like a traditional sniper at longer ranges. But that's not all. The SPX has the fastest reload and the default variable scope like the lab, and on top of that, it has significantly faster aim-down sight speed and a faster fire rate than the lab.
The one and only downside I see with the SPX is that the long-range chest-up damage falloff is 10 meters shorter than the lab, but that's it; that's not even that bad. I want to reiterate that all four of these snipers perform exactly the same at long ranges: it's a one-shot from the chest up, and if you can't hit that, it's a two-shot.
Kill Max even at the furthest ranges that you can find in modes like ground war. Keep in mind that the SPX's faster aim-down sight speed gives you some flexibility in your attachment selection. You could use range-increasing attachments to make up for that shorter long-range falloff and increase your massive upper body one-shot range while having aim-down sight speeds that are equivalent to the other snipers.
I don't know why you would use anything other than the SPX; it is clearly the best sniper that is currently in the game, but maybe you disagree with me on that or perhaps with another sniper on this list. As always, I encourage you to comment with your own "worst and best" lists or thoughts on my list.
