Beyond 31 m, this means your time to kill will be 324 milliseconds or 405 milliseconds; at close range, 324 isn't super impressive. It's fairly average, but it does outgun the MW3 LMGs; the HCR's long-range game is absolutely bananas. 405, Milliseconds, is outgunning every weapon in this game except for a couple.
The MTZ Interceptor in Tac 56 comes to mind as a weapon that performs better, but if you can get that faster five-shot kill at range, the HCR is unbeatable. It's unreal with the attachments, you can get ARS handling speeds and low recoil, and you can just melt people from a distance. It is absolutely disgusting.
I wasn't expecting the HCR to feel so powerful because it wasn't that great of a weapon in Modern Warfare 2, but in Modern Warfare 3.
Raal mg
That brings us to the final MW2 lmg, the r mg. This is the one weapon that you should Avid, and I don't have any gameplay with it because it's just challenging to use. It received a lot of changes for the worst, and there isn't much payoff for how challenging this weapon is. The R's damage output was reduced, and they added an additional range profile, so now it takes an additional shot to kill at long ranges.
Now it can take up to five shots instead of the easy two-tap kill that it was in Modern Warfare 2. On top of that, the recoil is very wobbly and intense. In Modern Warfare 2, this wasn't really a problem because you only needed to land two or three shots, but now that you need to land even more shots, you have a higher chance of missing bullets, extending your time to kill, and it just makes you feel very inconsistent.
It just gets worse the further and further away your target is. The one good change this weapon received is that its ad speed was significantly increased along with its sprint to fire speed, which makes it not as sluggish as it used to be, but it really just isn't worth your time. The peat is the better option if you're looking for a lmg of this kind of slower but deadly play style.
