Early look at the next event coming to modern warfare 3
Interesting name there, and then snipers only as well, pretty solid stuff, but of course, for the next big event coming to W3 shortly, it's the crypted event, Not Cryptid.
I don't know who would say Cryptid, but the crypted event in this game has an early image of the menu, the rewards we're getting, and much more, so it's the crypted boot camp event again. Factor fiction proves your monsterous Smite and completes event challenges to earn cryptic rewards, so we have down here, of course, an emblem.
It seems like a loading screen or a calling card. Another loading screen or calling card. There we have another emblem as well as a weapon sticker emblem there, so okay reward, I guess, and of course the crypted weapon blueprint there, which looks pretty solid. Now, I broke down all the challenges for multiplayer and zombies in my article yesterday, which will be links.
Leaked preview of the walking dead mw3 event!
Actually, right after this event here, it's the Walk Walking Dead event, which is a pretty big part of season 2. Of course, you have Rick Grimes in the battle pass, which the Michael operator is going to release next week as well, so here's what Call of Duty has officially confirmed so far. The Walking Dead Fear the Living in season February 28th to March 6th is a little bit from now, but it's coming very soon.
Of course, we're going to have 10 total free rewards. Here, fight the dead, fear the living, earn XP to unlock exclusive rewards. Equip the Michonne operator from the Tracer pack a Walking Dead michon mundle for an XP boost, so just like those other XP progression events have that operator, when you're playing you're going to get more XP towards that event, and honestly, it's probably pretty useful because a lot of the events we've seen require 1.2 million XP to complete, or even 500, 000.
XP to complete it; it's a lot of XP in a short amount of time, so having that operator boost is probably beneficial. That's probably why they do it right; they want you to buy the bundle to get that XP boost. It is what it is there, but that's what we're getting there for the Walking Dead event. I kind of wish it was a much bigger event with more challenges, more wide-reaching things to do in multiplayer war zones, and zombies.
I feel like it was deserving of map changes and stuff like that. Maybe not maybe they felt like we just wanted to be a simple XP progression event, and that's it. Who knows what's going on there, but I feel like The Walking Dead could have been a much bigger thing than what they're doing right now for zombies, so I don't know.
But for the actual rewards, here we do have an early preview of what we're getting now. I know this looks a bit weird here, so pretty much what we're looking at is the overlay of the Year of the Dragon XP progression event, but the rewards we're seeing are the new The Walking Dead rewards, so let's break down those rewards.
There we have the braveman, the weapon sticker; the next one here is double XP, and of course, a large red machete. We have a double weapon, XP. We have a Lucille weapon charm here, Carl's favorite large decal. We have a Sheriff Deputy Rick emblem there; don't open Dead Inside calling card, and then double batt pass XP of course, and then, of course, this camo is not the camo, but it is called Barbed and Dangerous, but it's not the dragon skills camo; it's literally the barbed camo.
I've probably shown you guys in a previous article; put it up on screen right now, so nothing too special. It's an okay camo, I guess, so I don't know again. I still feel like this could have been a much bigger deal. Rick's role in the battle pass is cool, as is the Michonne operator, which I'll show you guys up on screen.
With her bundle in full, she's pretty cool as well. She has some cool weapon skins and blueprints and cosmetics stuff like that, even tracers, as well. So I'm not mad at the event, but I feel like they could have done so much more, especially for zombies, of course. The Walking Dead is literally about killing and fighting zombies, for the most part, so they could have done some crazy stuff just for zombies and the LTM type of mode.
I guess that's unrealistic, because right now they're really not giving much support to zombies. Try's moving on to Black Ops 2024. Obviously, I do like the many events we've been seeing week by week there, but I feel like this one especially could have been much more interesting.
Rebirth island new warzone map release info leakedc c
For another leak here, Alix said this on Twitter, mentioning rebirth, It might not mean the map is coming in season 3; the code name for rebirth is JUP Escape 5. Those strings might be related to a game mode more than anything, so pretty much everyone has been saying that Rebirth Island might release during season 3, which is possible now that we just got Fortune's Keep in season 2.
I would think they would wait at least another season to have another resurgence. So I was always thinking like season 4, maybe even season 5, but people thought season 3 for whatever reason it's still as possible, but it doesn't make that much sense considering we just got Fortune's Keep; they don't want to give us too much content, and then season four, five, and maybe six if there is one it will be super dry for at least war zone, so spreading that out makes a bit more sense there, and if they want to wait more time to have rebirth island with a lot of cool Easter eggs and, obviously hopefully brought into zombies as well.
I would rather them take that time instead of pushing it out early. Not having it as an exclusion zone in zombies, not having all the cool Easter eggs and things to do LTM, stuff like that. It's still cool to see rebirth returning. I think Fortune Keep was a great addition to the mode, and having Rebirth Island as well very soon will also be pretty cool, so whether it's season 3, season 4, or season 5, it still should be a pretty fun map to play on again, but now for more upcoming free rewards here in MW3.
