Today we're going to be going over how to best prepare for rank to play on Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. Without further ado, let's get right into the article. So before we get started. I divided this article into seven different topics, even adding a bonus topic that's optional, so make sure you watch the whole article because I cover everything from class setups for ranked play to ranked play mentality changes while in game, and with that being said, let's jump right into the first.
Best mw3 ranked play class setups
Topic, class setups In case you've been living under a rock, there's only two weapons that Pros have been using for scrimmages, and those weapons include the MCW and the Rival 9. If you want to best prepare yourself for ranked play, it's highly recommended that you start grinding with these weapons right away.
I'm going to give you guys the best classes for ranked play to start the year strong and get that little boost on the first day of ranking over all the other players. So here are the best class setups for ranked play. Rival 9 you want to use a purifier. For the muzzle break, you want to use a brewing pivot vertical under the barrel for the 9-mm high grain rounds, the Marauder stock, the Rival Vice assault grip, and the MCW.
You want to use a 16.5-cyclone barrel for the high-grain rounds. The MK3 reflector optic, the Regal heavy stock, and the RB claw PSL grip both of these classes are the ideal setups that you want to have for ranked play, so just learning how to use these weapons the way that they're set up is going to take you very far in your journey, and now that we have the best classes for ranked play, let's go over what game modes we should be playing.
Gamemodes
Only, so for Modern Warfare 3's ranked play, we're going to be playing three different game modes, only those being hardpoint control and search and destroy, which means if you really want to focus on the best repair for ranked play this year, then you might strongly want to consider only playing these game modes until rank plays official release.

But before I explain anything to you, let me bring you up to speed on what maps we will be playing for the first season of Modern Warfare 3's ranked play so the maps that we're going to be playing are subbase Karachi skidrow, terminal highrise and Invasion as you can see we're going to be playing a variety of different Maps this year and it goes without say that this can be both a good thing and a bad thing why is it a good thing well because we finally have variety at the start of a season.
Why is it a bad thing? Well, we have a lot of maps, and it's going to take a while to get accustomed to them, especially if you're not preparing for them beforehand. Now you're going to want to go straight into rank play, knowing callouts, not just the maps. If someone else on your team has well prepared themselves for this experience, then you can easily adapt on the spot, which in turn allows for a smooth road to an easy rank-up.

Make friends and party up!
The next topic is making friends early and parting ways. Whether you're preparing yourself for ranked play by yourself or with your friends, always try to make new friends early on in a season, especially those that you can see yourself playing with for a while. If you have people that are trying to get into rank play this year, then now would be the best time to bring them along for the journey and have them prep with you.
The best feeling in the world is when you have a pre-made team ready to go straight into a position on day one. This also allows for you guys to strategize different takes on each game mode and map, such as deciding who will be the main AR and who's going to be the main sub. When you start practicing for ranked you want to clear your head of challenges and focus strictly on winning these games you want to keep your focus entirely on the game and try to stay committed to your role be prepared to lose games and be prepared to win some too your goal is to basically just train, the more often you do something the better you'll become at it which applies to Call of Duty as well the more often you play CDL Maps the more often you'll be able to respond to changes occurring in games more frequently remember this is a marathon not a Sprint stop trying to find shortcuts to everything take your time put your hours in get that practice in and you'll see how you'll easily adapt .
Tournaments and 8-mans
Quickly another good topic that I had to bring up was playing in tournaments and eight. You're going to want to play in those free tournaments that people have every now and then all over Twitter or even get into eight men; you know, just practice with a bunch of people now. I recently went over this topic in one of my articles, but you want to make sure that you're getting as involved as you can as early as you can.
The best way to do this is by participating in free-to-play turns and eights, like I mentioned before in that article. Eights are scrimmages that you can play with pre-made teams or individually with random players. They use the same rules as the Pro League does, which is perfect in your situation because you'll become familiar with rank-play games.
Now, I understand not everyone can participate in these games, but I went ahead and made a free Discord server for anyone trying to get into these games. If you want to play scrims and attys, then feel free to join the Discord, and once we have an adequate number of players in there, we could set up games for practice and fun.
