News - Warzone 2 Bundles Are Going To Be More Expensive
Hello, ladies and gentlemen. It's your boy brother gaming HG here in today's article. As you can tell here, this is a free skin that you can only get by purchasing two bundles here within Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. And the total amount of money that will cost you is $48, for both of these bundles right here, as you can see, but the thing is, it's technically 50 if you want to round it up, so in other words, you're spending about half $100.
Just on a cosmetic here within Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, you're just getting one free weapon cosmetic. Now, this is kind of stupid here, mostly because of the fact that in the only way to obtain this limited-time skin is by purchasing two particular weapon bundles within the shop, and this is pretty stupid.
I'm not going to lie, this is one of the stupidest things that they actually did, and don't even get me started on the Gass Up vault, skin collection thing that they ended up having for like the wp9. The WSP stinger and the WSP Swarm here within the Call of Duty model don't get me sored on that. I made a whole separate article on that topic.
A hand here like this just proves that Call of Duty and Microsoft are trying to figure out ways and methods, like, what can we do to scam the Call of Duty community out of their cash? What can we do in order to get these casuals? Let me emphasize that the casuals should give us the Moola because we're already a multi-million dollar company and we want more of it.
You know what I'm saying: at the end of the day. Microsoft and Activision are businesses, and at the end of the day, they are both greedy multi-million dollar corporations, one technically being Daddy, which is Microsoft, and the other one being Activision over here, calling Microsoft daddy, which I know it's kind of weird coming out of my mouth, but I'm sorry, but that's the way I kind of see it here because that's what technically Microsoft is to Activision; they're technically daddy.
Microsoft, I'm so sorry. I'm trying to keep a straight face here. I'll TR make this commentary, but this just proves my this just proves further that Activision has not really changed ever since Microsoft took over, and for those who end up saying. Microsoft is going to save the series. Kong, the attack on Titan collaboration that we had during Call of Duty.
Vanguard and other collaborations that we've had throughout the Call of Duty franchise ever since Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 going forward, this just targets more of the casual player base, the ones who don't really play very much Call of Duty, the ones who don't really follow, and content creators on certain particular ular topics like what's the best class setup and what's the best me, like what's in Meta, like tips and tricks articles, and other things along the lines of that nature within the Call of Duty spectrum, and that's the thing these weapon bundles are going to keep getting more and more expensive, especially for those that are the casuals, and to be honest.
At the end of the day. Microsoft and Activision are businesses, and as businesses, it is their job to ensure that they make a certain quota or a certain amount of money by the end of the month, quarterly, or by the end of the year, depending on how they have all that legal stuff set up. But that is the thing: this is going to continue to get worse and worse for the Call of Duty franchise as it progressively gets worse and worse.
It's kind of weird for me to afford it like that, but that's how I see it because, like I said, we've had a Universal Weapon skin WP for the wsp Stinger, the wsp Swarm, and the wsp. I forgot about the other WSP that we have here, Modern Warfare 3. They end up charging $34 for that Call of Duty Community strikeback against it, and they end up giving people back $10 worth of COD points.
They ended up planning on re-releasing it for 2400 COD points later down the road. But this was technically a way to see what the Call of Duty community does. Or the casuals or content creators, like what do they value out of these weapon bundles, like what can we do and what can we get away with when it comes to making these types of weapon bundles and collaborations?
You know with M with other very popular pop culture series here within the world, and apparently Dune is a very popular franchise. And this was a fantastic idea from Activision and Dune, mainly because I think the new movie is out. I believe it's out in theaters right now. I really don't have a clue because I really do not watch movies that much anymore.
I mostly watch TV shows back to top of hand here; this was a method or a way to see what it's like. How can we push the boundaries further? Like, what can we do to make this a much easier way for Activision and Microsoft to make money? And this is where that free skin comes into play, like I showed at the beginning of this article.
In order for them to obtain this quote-unquote-free skin, you can't see I'm doing air quotations. Quote unquote free, skin, what can we do ah you know what how about we combine two weapon bundles, and only way to obtain this free skin is by purchasing both weapon bundles which equivalates out the $48 but if you want to round it up it's technically half of $100, going forward, and people who end up eating the stuff up and end up buying it it's going to show that Microsoft and Activision they're going to keep pushing it further and further and further, and there are some people I hear within the Call of Duty Community that are very concerned about this mostly because of the fact that if this does end up becoming a very popular thing where in order to obtain free content air again air quotations here free content you're going to have to purchase an x amount of bundles and it has to be a particular set of bundles to unlock this thing so in other words it is another way for Activision in Microsoft to increase their profits, regardless, at the satisfaction, of the Call of Duty Community, because last time I.
Checked, they really don't care about the Call of Duty Community there's a reason why a majority of the people have left and a minority of us have stayed here within the Call of Duty franchise for a reason, for those who are still around we're here because we want to make a change we're here because we want to try to make a difference within the Call of Duty Community, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much we try to do this but even though we have seen it in the past with that weapon Vault skin for the Ws Peak family here within Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 we managed to push that back, and this was another test to see how the Call of Duty Call of Duty Community would react overall, and if this does become a successful thing we'll probably end up seeing like $100, weapon bundles $150 weapon.
