The FSS Fortress heavy stock and then finally The Marauder grip so we're leaning really heavily into recoil control with this build you kind of need to with the wsp Swarm while also ensuring that we're not sacrificing too much in the handling and mobility department, now the big thing to point out with this is you aren't going to be nearly as accurate as a rival 9 so you are limiting your range potential with this but the upside with this is we get a very noticeably better time to kill potential in super close quarters engagements so this setup will be best used in maps and situations where you're going to be in very close quarters combat and some of the key stat changes here are our aim down sight speed it's actually slowed down a little bit but it's still very fast at 192 milliseconds, our Sprint out speed just like the previous build this is slowed down so slightly that it's negligible, and it's still amazing at 95 milliseconds, our range values are actually increased by 19%.
Which is excellent to see with this, and our bullet velocity is actually far better than the recoil that this gun is able to handle at 512 m/s. So that on its own should never be an issue for you with this gun, so there we go. That's the third setup again. I just want to be clear: this isn't the standard SMG setup; this is more of a niche SMG setup that you should only use in specific situations if you're going to use it at all. More often than not, you're going to be better off with the versatility of the Rival 9.
Best ranked secondary build
Next, let's just cover the best secondary for ranked play, and this one's pretty straightforward; it's basically just the retti with the MLX short competition. Barrel the exf eclipser grip, and if you want to use an optic on there you could go with like the Slate reflector for instance or if you just prefer the iron sights on your pistols that's fine too, and that's it that's where you should stop when it comes to your pistol build and the primary reason behind this is the other attachments that are available on the retti that aren't restricted in ranked play they're generally going to be harming your Mobility stats and you definitely don't want to do that one of the biggest things you're going to be using your secondary weapon for is not actually for gunfights, it's for covering distances, faster and therefore you really want to lean heavily into mobility.
Best ranked sniper build (s&d only)
The 6X short Zoom optic, the tactical stock pad, the ephemeral quickbolt bolt, which gives us a faster fire rate, and then finally the Phantom grip—with this particular build, we speed up our rate of fire up to 57 rounds per minute, which is excellent. Our aim down sight speed is going to be quite slow still just due to the fact that the base aim down sight speed is very slow with this, but it's at least noticeably improved compared to the base, our Sprint out speed is great for a sniper rifle that one will never really even come into play with this and then finally our bullet velocity unfortunately isn't amazing with this build but generally speaking, within the lanes that you're going to be finding on the competitive maps for Search and Destroy, you don't need the highest bullet velocity out there, and you may just have to compensate a little bit by leading your target in some specific situations.

Best ranked perks?
At least while considering the soon-to-be restrictions that are going to come into place, you may also be wondering, What are the best perks and stuff to be using? Generally speaking, for SMGs, you want to use the assault gloves or perhaps the Quick Grip gloves so you can throw that equipment out a little bit faster.
For assault rifles, you could use Quick Grip assault gloves or Marksman gloves, and if you're sniping, you almost definitely want to use the Marksman gloves. You should generally just stick to the covert sneakers, and then finally, you should generally be using EOD padding for your third perk.
