And I think this is largely due to the fact that we have advanced stats now in the game, so it does make it a lot easier to get these class setups together and say that there may still be a few different variations of attachment combinations that are perfectly viable for competitive play, and there's decent arguments on either end as to which is best, but I'm going to be sharing the ones that I found to be best after many hours of very detailed comparisons.
Best ranked mcw build
But without further ado, let's just dive right into this, and we're going to start it off with the MCW build. This is just the best all-around ranked MCW build, at least in my opinion based on all of the testing that I've done, and with this, we're using the 16 1 12 in Cyclone Barrel, the t51r. Bitted brake combined with the dr6, hand stop, then we've got the Regal heavy stock, and then finally the Mark II reflector.
Of course, when it comes to the optic, this is where it does come down to preference. At least to some degree, I really like the Mark II, and some players really like the Slate reflector. I would say just go with whichever one you're comfortable with but I definitely would recommend a low Zoom optic on this gun and with this particular setup you can see that it's extremely accurate you should be able to beam people off head glitches even at really long ranges, additionally our a down sight speed is great at 228, milliseconds so you can actually kind of hold your own to some degree at least against SMGs up close, however a big downside with this and this is something that did change with a recent update is the Sprint to fire time isn't great with this build it's 246.
Milliseconds for our standard Sprint out time which is slower than our aim down sight time and this is just something you have to compensate for in your play style you don't want to get caught sprinting with this gun especially against an SMG player you won't stand a chance in those situations. On top of this, our range benefit with this balances out to a 9% increase, and our bullet velocity is also great at 804 m/s, which should mean that this gun will feel like a hit scan in the majority of gunfights you'll ever find in this game, so there we go.
Alternative ranked mcw build
I did some testing with this, and I found that this is also perfectly viable, and it just depends on your preferences and play style, so with this one we're again using those 16 and 1/12 in Cyclone Barrel.
This time we're using the l4r, flash hider, we've got the x10 Phantom 5 for our underbarrel once again, that Mark II reflector, and then finally the RB claw PSL grip now with this particular setup we have a little bit less horizontal deviation with our recoil compared to the previous one however it does climb a little bit faster than the previous build I shared so you have to account for that vertical recoil slightly more and at the end of the day both of these builds are incredibly accurate and quite easy to control and I would say it just comes down to preference with this recoil, then when it comes to our aim down sight speed it is noticeably slower with this build at 240.
Milliseconds however, our sprint-out time has at least improved a little bit here, and it's a bit faster than our aim-down sight speed, which is generally what you want to see. On top of this, our range values have improved by 15% rather than 9%, and our bullet velocity has improved by 18%, rather than I think it was 133% with the previous build, so there we go.
That's just an alternative build. If you don't like the first one, give this one a shot, and maybe this will work out a little bit better for you. You really can't go wrong with either of.
Best ranked rival 9 build
Next, let's get into the Rival 9-ranked setup, and this is sort of the default SMG. This is the go-to SMG for competitive play, and the best and most versatile build I was able to find with this is using the Rival C clear shot barrel, the purifier muzzle brake, the dr6 hand stop, the Rival Vice assault rear grip, and the MTZ Marauder stock.
With this build, you can see that we really tighten up the side-to-side bounce on this, so it follows a very predictable line and doesn't really deviate from that line at all. However, it is going to zigzag on you a little bit, so that is something you have to get used to, but the key here with that is consistency.
Then, when it comes to our handling stats, we've got a great aim down sight speed of 170 milliseconds; our sprint out time, well, it's technically slightly slower than the base sprint out time; it's by a negligible amount; and we still have an amazing sprint out speed of 96 milliseconds. With our damage range, it ends up balancing out, so we only gain 1%.
With our damage range, it's pretty much negligible there as well, and our bullet velocity has improved very slightly. But it's still below 500 m/ second and as a result I wouldn't recommend trying to take longer range fights not just due to the bullet velocity but also due to the other factors you're just not going to beat an MCW, at longer ranges unless you already know that guy is hurt for instance, but for the most part if you're playing within the ranges that you should be playing in with an SMG, this bullet velocity should be just fine and overall like I said this was just the best and most balanced build that I was able to create like sure you could lean a bit more into recoil but then you're going to be sacrificing, with your handling and mobility and that's where the SMG is meant to shine or on the flip side of that you could lean really heavily into mobility and get around the map a lot faster but then you end up sacrificing a lot in The Recoil department and you just see a lot less consistency there and when it comes to competitive play you definitely want consistency .
Best ranked wsp swarm build
I tried playing around with a ton of different attachments, and these are the ones that just worked out best overall, and with this we have the wsp Reckless 90-long barrel and the purifier muzzle break. Although I will mention until it gets restricted that the Jack BFB muzzle is probably your best bet with the WSP Swarm, that'll allow you to be no noticeably more accurate than this particular build that I'm sharing, but that is on that list of soon-to-be restricted items, and I want this article to have at least some lasting power, so that's why I'm going with the purifier muzzle break.
