News - Why Are The Aftermarket Parts So Bad Warzone 2. Ranking Conversion Kits
In saying that though you sacrifice a ton of versatility and that's the true strength of the MCW is its versatility and accuracy, you throw all that away just to make it a little bit better at body shots up close when if you just use the base version of the MCW and actively try to aim for the head up close, you're now going to be better than the Jack Raven in those close quarter situations while being significantly more versatile for those mid to longer range situations, so that's why I consider this kit to be not terrible but definitely not great by any means, and generally, you're just better off with the base gun, and we actually see a really similar story here with the dg58 LSW.
Jack Nightshade kit, and this is the one that basically turns this lmg into a close-range assault rifle, so it massively increases our recoil to the point where it's practically useless beyond mid-range. But it does help with our handling of mobility stats quite noticeably, and it also very noticeably improves our time to kill potential within 12 m, which is a very short range, but with this, if you play to the strengths of this kit, you can definitely see some benefits, and if you're playing on really close quarters maps like shipment, for instance.
I would argue that this kit is actually better than the base DG58. LSW in saying that though you do throw away a ton of the versatility of this gun and like I said it's practically useless Beyond mid-range just due to how inaccurate it is and also due to how terrible the time to kill becomes, and that's why I feel it deserves a spot in this middle category where I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to a bit of a buff to this but at the same time I can at least see some use cases for this, and then finally for this section I included the wsp Swarm akimbo brace kit, and again this is another one of those scenarios where you can use this just fine I actually find it quite fun to use the akimbo brace on the wsp Swarm, but at the end of the day I'm just far better off and more versatile with the base version of this gun, and while I can't kill quite as fast up close with the base gun I'm still killing faster than basically any other full auto gun in the game while maintaining the ability to aim down sight and actually have a gunfight at Mid to somewhat longer ranges.
The good aftermarket parts
Where you're unable to really compete at all with this akimbo kit and honestly I don't think this needs any adjustments or anything I still think it's really fun to use this kit but at the same time I do feel it deserves a spot in this middle category, because the base version of the gun is just simply going to be better, far more often than not and this just leaves us with the last category which I am going to blast through a lot faster since I have less feedback to give on These are the kits that I consider to just be good and well balanced and I feel like there's a good reason to use all of these, but you don't necessarily have to in order to be effective with the gun and with this one we have the wsp 9 brood mother kit which converts it to a 45 ACP.
With this, it slows our rate of fire but increases our damage, so we get a faster time to kill potential up close, but it becomes a lot less forgiving if you end up missing any shots due to that slower fire rate. I think that's perfectly balanced, and I can use this kit or the base version of the gun pretty much interchangeably and find roughly the same amount of success.
Then after that, we've got the MTZ 762 carbine kit, and with this one, at least in full auto, it makes the gun clearly better in close-range engagements, but you lose some of that versatility, and it's also not nearly as good in semi-auto. And the additional nice benefit of this is that it eliminates your idol sway, which is great.
Then we have the Pulat Bullpup kit, and this one's excellent, arguably better than the base gun actually for 6v6, and I much prefer using this with the kit rather than without the kit. Then we've got the MCW 6.8 full auto kit, again, something I just recently covered in the gun guide for that, and I just consider this to be a great balanced kit where you've got some good balanced trade-offs but you lose the head shot potential, so you can't get a two-shot kill by landing one shot to the body and one shot to the head like you can in semi-auto.
After that, we've got the Retti carbine kit, which again, I think, is just balanced really nicely. It's got some very balanced trade-offs because the base rifle is a great gun on its own. You don't need to use this carbine kit, but if you do, it basically turns it into like a little pocket SMG, so I'd argue it's a little bit easier to use with this carbine kit, but the trade-offs are balanced; it slows your handling and mobility stats; it slows your swap speed as well, so if you want to swap from a gun to this secondary, it's going to take very noticeably longer than the Bas retti, and to top all of that off, it's a lot less accurate than if you're using the retti in burst, and then finally, this just leaves us with the brand new tier kit, which is that rifle kit, and this one.
I'll admit i haven't done a really deep dive into it yet, but based on some initial data collection and testing that I've done, this one also seems to have very balanced tradeoffs. It significantly improves your one-hot kill potential, which is excellent, especially for a secondary weapon, but in order to compensate for that and keep it balanced as a secondary weapon, you get a significantly slower double action delay or pre-fire delay.
This is now roughly 150 milliseconds, which is extremely slow for a pre-fire delay, but since it's a secondary weapon. I do think that keeps it nicely in check, combined with the fact that it also harms our handling and mobility.
