New free content & future updates revealed for mw3 & warzone
Within War Zone in Modern Warfare 3, right now we actually have a brand new free content update going out. Some of it is going to be per day, but also some of it's lasting for the majority of season 1, so we got a bunch of new free rewards to be able to unlock. We also have some brand new teases and some brand new updates in regards to future changes coming to the game that have been revealed, which is pretty exciting, so lots of details to get into here today as we.
New free rewards live in warzone & modern warfare 3
I see y'all much love for all the support. As well, but as mentioned right now, we've got some free content now live in the game. The first bit of this is via season 1. Twitch drops, or viewership rewards, and we actually have some different ones going on between War Zone and Modern Warfare 3, so there's actually more content here than usual.
Call of Duty posted the other day on Twitter or X saying all eyes on season 1 receive exclusive in-game rewards for watching your favorite streamer play War Zone in MW3. Link your Activision and ID accounts ahead of the action, so in order to actually get these rewards, you do need to go into your Twitch connections.
Tab and link your Activision account; that way, you can actually ideally get these rewards now on the war zone side of things. There's a bunch of different rewards here that you get just for watching straight up any Twitch streamer that has drops enabled, which is pretty much everyone who's live in the category.
Personally. I don't really stream all that consistently, as I'm sure you know if you follow me, so there are plenty of options out there with drops enabled, but for watching this time around for season 1, there's going to be two different calling cards. It's like a lot of anime-themed stuff, you know, just from the looks of it, but there's going to be two calling cards and two emblems.
A weapon vinyl, a loading screen, and then three specific weapon charms. Keep in mind that these are only going to be earnable and unlockable during the season 1 drop period, and then for the Modern Warfare 3 side of things, we've got a brand new weapon charm, a weapon vinyl, and then a full-on weapon blueprint.
As well, which obviously is going to be the main reward across the board, and of course all this content, hey, that rhymes, sorry anyways, all this content is available throughout War Zone and MW3. Aik you can mix and match it between the modes whether you're playing zombies multiplayer, battle royale Resurgence, whatever the case may be.
now that said last time there were twitch drops for the preseason period there were a lot of issues with the rewards actually being credited to your account even if you had your Activision account and your Twitch account linked some players just never ended up getting them hopefully that is fixed for this time around because obviously you spend time watching the streams for these rewards, you want to get them you want to be able to use them so hopefully that system has been sorted out a little bit at least now on top of the twitch drop free rewards we also have our very first CDL rewards and you know reveals for upcoming rewards here as well so the CDL season has already kicked off it started yesterday actually, and it's going to be going obviously for all year long and every time these CDL has got a new event going on there are viewership rewards however it is a little bit different this year because the CDL is partnered exclusively with YouTube.
All of the streams are posted on the Call of Duty League YouTube channel, which means you have to link your YouTube account and your Activision account to earn these rewards. But unfortunately, if you have a branded YouTube account, if you're someone who has articles posted to their channel and you're actively uploading content like me, for instance.
I have a branded account, you can't link your Activision account to those, so you might have to make a secondary YouTube account just to watch these streams. If you're interested in these rewards, but initially yesterday, like I said, the event kicked off, there was some double XP. Then there's also an emblem and a calling card available for yesterday's broadcast.
With today's broadcast, you're going to be able to earn a 60-minute double weapon XP for watching for 1 hour, a new calling card for watching for an hour and a half, a new animated emblem for watching for 2 hours, and then a new charm and a weapon. charm the TV, for watching for 2 and 1/2 hours, and then tomorrow.
Sunday, the 10th, you'll end up getting a double XP token for watching for 1 hour for an hour and a half, you'll get a brand new stick for 2 hours, you get the mirrors blueprint, which honestly. I think that blueprint camo looks pretty cool, but unfortunately, if you go through and change the class setup for it.
I'm sure the camo will look a little bit different but pretty clean for the blueprint, as is, and then for watching for 2 and 1/2 hours on Sunday, you get a new animated emblem as well, and then leading up to Major 1, which takes place towards the end of January, the qualifiers start on December 15th.
And while you watch any of the qualifier streams on the Cod League Channel, basically every single hour. Just having that CDL stream up in the background is definitely worthwhile. This is the gift that keeps on giving. Not to be confused with the Jelly of the Month club, although that's pretty solid as well, Gamer Advantage is where it's at.
And all month long, everything on the GA site is discounted by 2%–5%, and code Immortal stacks on top of that for a 35% discount for all of December, so quite literally, now is the perfect time to pick up a pair, whether it be for yourself, some friends, or some family for the holidays.
New content revealed for warzone
As mentioned below, we also got some brand new reveals for some upcoming updates and changes within the war zone. Specifically, Ravens posted a few teasers and whatnot on their Twitter. Initially, Charlie Intel was talking about the leaked Champions and Quest skins that were revealed. With the Season One update through the game files, Raven just said, Hey, you know what?
Forget the game files. We'll just show it to you because we've updated it. They responded and said we don't know what that original one is, but we like this one coming soon, so the Champions Quest is coming in season; it's returning in season for War Zone, and if you complete it this time around, there is a brand new operator, a skin that's like Nuke-based, which honestly looks pretty cool, so if you see this running around in game once the Champions Quest is back, you'll know that you're running up against a pretty good player.
All Things Considered, so we do have that now officially revealed, and then this is a very big one.
