News - Warzone 2. 0: New Update Changes, Broken Pay To Win Blueprint, Double Xp Events. Mw2 Update
For Warzone, it's called the Raptor, and why is this optic so good? Well, because it actually has a built-in rangefinder, and there is a hollow sight in the game that already has that, but obviously for long range for sniping and, you know, pinpointing. Bullet Drop Having an optic like the Raptor optic here is really, really good.
It was supposed to be an unlockable with the XMR Victus when that dropped in the game. We could see it in private matches since before season one; it was visible there. But in the game now, and I think it could be different for some players, it might be glitched for some players and actually be accessible, but for a ton of players it's not.
You can max out your Victus, and the Raptor optic stays locked. You can go through the whole family tree progression thing, but you don't see the Raptor there, even though it's supposed to be unlockable on the Victus. If you were to go into the store, there is a bundle known as "Sloth." It's 2400 Cod points, of course, and it includes a couple of blueprints, including an XMR Victus.
The Victus blueprint has an operator's skin, and if you go on to that Victus blueprint, you'll notice it comes with the Raptor's optic. So, what this bundle is essentially doing is giving you access to one of the most valuable attachments in the entire game, but it's only truly guaranteed. To be accessible through the bundle, like I said, some players have told me they have this on their account.
I'm not sure if they're looking at it in a private match and just assuming it works in normal matches too. I know it's completely glitched for a lot of other players as well, but if you go ahead and actually buy this bundle, you get this optic. But there's a catch here too. I went and tested this.
You can go into the firing range and see that it has the Raptor optic on it. You can use that target finder to see the distance between you and wherever you want to select it. But then, if you wanted to go through and build this, you know, to a maximum velocity, maximum range, or meta setup for the Victus, you could.
You can't actually put it on a normal version of the victus; you can only use it on the blueprint, so the blueprint in and of itself is pay to win, and the bundle is a total scam because you're not actually getting the optic you're buying there on a normal setup or just in general right now. Yeah, very broken aspect there if you're wondering where that rangefinder, or "optic," is and why you can't access it; it is very glitched right now, and hopefully this article can bring some attention to this issue and it can get fixed soon because obviously this is a very broken and pay to win element of the game where they don't necessarily aim for pay to win.
Double xp event for mw2 and warzone 2 confirmed
Also, as I was recording this, Raven had actually updated their Trello board to give us our first ever basic, double-XP event. Now keep in mind that this is just your overall rank in XP. This is not weapon XP, but starting on November 30th tomorrow. Playstation will have some double XP, and then starting on December 1st and going through December 2nd, all platforms will have some double XP, so just some minor basic double XP events going on later on this week.
Funny enough, you know how earlier on in the article I was like, Man. I wish they would disable things like the bomb drone if they're causing game-breaking issues, well on their Trello board they've also updated one issue here on all platforms: The bomb drone bomb drone field upgrade has been disabled while we investigate an issue. I wish I was making this up, but the fact is that as I was recording, they added it to the Trello board, and as I go to check this before I make this article or publish this article, it's there.

Finally, for today, we do have the final football bundle available in the store with the brand new Messi operator bundle. This, of course, comes with the Messi operators—surprise, surprise—a new finishing move. You get a couple of new blueprints, as well as this time decked out in some blue camo.
You also get a new vehicle skin. You get a new charm. You get a new sticker. And then you also get a new emblem. So all three of the World Cup crossover bundles are available now. Now available in the store, you can also go through and continue to do the various voting for the matches to try and get those additional blueprints as well.
