News - Warzone 2: New Weapon Balancing Update Revealed. Kv Broadside & Fire Rounds Nerf Coming - Mw2 Update
With season two reloaded coming next week, we know we're going to see plenty of content updates for multiplayer in War Zone, and we know we're going to see some gameplay updates as well. Today, we actually got some new additional information on some of the changes coming with Season Two Reloaded, including: some very important weapon tuning adjustments that are Now that it's official, we also have some new free rewards available in the game right now that will also continue over the course of the next couple of days, and even some new leaks and rumors regarding some other content that a lot of players have been asking about of late.
Task force 141 updates for mw2, warzone 2.0, and dmz
Of course, earlier this week we got the reveal for Season 2 reloaded, featuring the blog post that we went through and detailed in its own separate article. If you haven't caught that yet, feel free to go ahead and check it out, but in that we actually got the announcement that finally, after so many months of not having them in game, we are finally going to be able to access the Task Force 141 operators, you know, the main characters from Modern Warfare 2 outside.
Of the Vault Edition up until the time of season two reloaded drops, the only way you could play as Price. Pharah, or the other Task Force 141 members is by getting the Vault Edition back at launch, which is a hundred dollars for a couple of operator skins, and of course, you get some other bonus stuff, but it's kind of annoying that the main characters of the game were inaccessible to so many players unless they bought the most expensive version of the game, but that blog obviously revealed that new skins are coming for basically all of the Task Force One for However, we actually got some additional leaks and rumors from Adenas HD over on Twitter, because when Medina ended up tweeting out that yes, these different bundles are coming, there were some questions and responses, and apparently Medina's.
I was asked if this certain Ghost Skin was coming to the game from the campaign—probably one of the more iconic ones. Ghost skins from MW2, where not only does Go Ghost look awesome but it was a huge part of, like, some of the main scenes in the campaign—and, when asked about that. Medina said soon, so it seems like there is some information out there that this particular ghost skin is going to be debuting in Modern Warfare 2.
War Zone 2, and DMZ at some point in the future. I imagine that now that they are starting to release bundles for Task Force 141, we're going to continue to see more skins become available and more bundles focused around them. I'm not sure why it took so long, but hey, here we are, and at least we're finally starting to see those introduced in the game now.
Medina's was also asked about soap because there were bundles, as you know. Pharaoh, there were bundles for Price, and there were bundles for Ghost, but soap didn't have anything specific directed toward him and Apparently according to Medina's, the season 3 raid likely coming with season 3 Reloaded in probably two and a half months or so, so we'll feature some new updates for SOAP to give him some additional operator skins so we could also access him outside of the Vault Edition as well.
New free warzone 2 rewards now available
would be really appreciated. now Per the blog that was revealed earlier this week. Warzone is doing a sort of special anniversary update over the course of the next couple of days, which is actually today when this article is going up. March 10th is the three-year anniversary of War Zone 1 releasing man into the golden days.
You don't know you're in them until you're out of them, right? Andy Bernard said something like that, however. They are doing a couple of free in-game updates for the anniversary, and it seems like as of today these are available. Items are starting to go live. Infinity Ward basically said, "Hey, go and claim these rewards," so whenever you go to log on to Warzone.
MW2, or DMZ next, you might want to check out the store because there's going to be a handful of free things you can claim. Call of Duty tweeted out saying that to celebrate three years of Warzone, players will be able to claim seven free items over the coming weeks through the in-game store that are themed around maps, seasons, and memories made since its launch on March 10th, 2020, including weapons, blueprints, calling cards, and more.
These will be sort of dropping sporadically over the course of, as Call of Duty said, the next couple of weeks, so feel free to check out the store if you want to grab those; they don't say if they're going to be released in the store or if they're just available permanently. Until you claim them like some of the free rewards are, or if they're only going to be available for the next couple of weeks and then they'll be removed from the store, you might want to grab those when you can just in case they are eventually removed.
New weapon balancing update revealed for mwii & wz2
And then by far the most important announcement from today—the most exciting announcement from today—stems.
From Infinity Ward, there's been a lot of talk about the weapon balancing in MW2 and War Zone 2, but as of late, of course, the reveal blog for Season 2 Reloaded did not detail any weapon updates, adjustments, or anything like that. For what it's worth, those blogs never do. The only time we see weapon details mentioned are in the official patch notes or in tweets like this, where Infinity Ward posted.
Season 2 Reloaded will include several global weapon balance changes, including damage reduction to the KV broadside and dragon's breath rounds. Full patch notes with these changes and more will be published on the 15th, shortly before the update goes live. Stay tuned so my friends, it is now official.
I mean, most of us saw this one coming, but it's now official that the broadside is going to be nerfed. This is especially important for war zones where it is wildly broken, and on top of just the base broadside shotgun being nerfed, the dragon's breath rounds are also going to be nerfed. I mean, as it stands right now when it comes to the shotguns, four of them are pretty useless all right; I think we've got five, and four of them are useless, and then there's the broadside, which is the best close-range thing in the game, better than the subs, better than any pistols, because it's got a 25-round drum with fire breath in it or dragon's breath in it, which is just utterly insane.
It rips through teams and it rips through enemies; there is no countering it outside of running for your life as fast as you can the second you hear the doof go. From the next room, right So great news: the KV broadside and dragon's breath are getting nerfed. They say that's going to be a universal update, so that'll happen for multiplayer.
