News - Unlock 10 Skulls A Minute: The Insane Mimic Skulls Trick Warzone 2 Zombies Mwz
There's an event running in Modern Warfare 3 that I wanted to talk to you guys about. It's themed around zombies, and it's only got 5 days left. It's called a horde hunt. I know a lot of people are aware of this, but I did a full breakdown of it to see which mode is the best and how it actually compares to the zombie mode, and it was quite shocking.
You have to pick up 10,000 bones and then 1100 skulls that are from different enemies, like armored zombies, hellhounds, and mimics. This event seems to be heavily driven towards zombies and rewards in zombies, but you don't want to do this event in zombies because it's so bad for the 10,000 bones you're getting perks for.
Rarity tools and then ultimately the ray gun case, then you get a charm, a calling card, and then an ammo skin, and ultimately you get this skin here called Killshot. This event can be very grindy if you're doing it the wrong way and trying to get those 200 mimic skulls. It can take forever. Let me show you how it compares whenever you're trying to get these bones and skulls from the different modes and how long it's going to take.
The best one is obviously plunder. I think a lot of people are aware of this, and I want to show you guys the method I used to get this entire event completed in 2 hours. Also, plunder comes and goes, and it should be coming back right now, but it's not available. And if you want to get out there and get these bones and skulls, then you can use the war zone.
When it's not available in the war zone, it's going to take you between 2 and 3 hours, and that's not bad at all; that is still really good, but the absolute worst is the zombie mode. It will take you 15 solid hours, and that is non-stop grinding. Going in only focusing on this event, I'll show you why that is how it breaks down, so you guys will understand how absolutely terrible it is.
I'll show you guys the method I use in plunder, and in war zones, it's super chill, like nobody messes with you. You're on the outskirts. You can just get this done and get out at the very bottom of the map. I have a path that I take. I start from the right and go to the left, and all that stuff there that I have circled is everything that you can loot in, like one plunder match, and then the match is over and you get to leave.
I usually drop right here, where there are two portable buildings. And there's a crane next to you there, and I start by looting those two buildings. And then I will weave my way through these buildings, back and forth, and again, you're on the very edge of the map, so nobody cares what you're doing out there.
I make my way through these houses and buildings, then I go through these office buildings right there, and then ultimately, I like getting there. That hospital is so good, and typically the match is about over right there, but if not, you can start circling back and looting those buildings right there.
There's a very large palace-type building on the left, and I never go in there. There's hardly anything in there to loot. What makes plunder in the war zone so good is that you are looting everything that you can open, so these medicine cabinets, the first kits, are great to hit any crates on the ground anytime you open something and loot it; it's going to be dropping either skulls or bones, and it drops large quantities of these every time for plunder; it drops 30 bones at a time; and in the war zone, it drops 40 bones at a time for armored zombies.
You're getting seven per drop that you collect, like right there in war zone, you get 10, and there's a reason for that: the game is shorter; it's more risky to be there, but you can run this the same route in war zone, and people will not mess with you. But all these buildings right here in this little suburb are great because they're all kind of laid out the same, so you know where to go when you get in there, and you always want to hit the bathroom because you want to open those medicine cabinets, and then sometimes there's a first aid kit in there, and no one ever loots those; they're always unopened, and yeah, they drop skulls and bones, obviously.
And yeah, out here, no one loots anything; everything is unopened. And the best part about this is that you can get mimic skulls here whenever you do loot mimic skulls you get seven at a time and again on war zone you're going to be getting 10 at a time so again I start in, these two Portable Buildings and I work my way through those houses then I like to go to these Office Buildings there's a ton of bags that you can open these offices are like a maze, of rooms you just go in them and typically there's like one to two bags and there's an absolute crap load of Bones and skulls in here there's like six buildings in this complex and it's downstairs and upstairs you'll find again bags and then also crates throughout the hallways and the rooms, these bags are always in the same spot in these rooms so you can just run in grab them and get out you know where to look and it's very quick after I leave this complex I go to the hospital the hospital is great because there are first aid kits all over the walls and there's bags throughout the floors.
And then you're going to have, like, one or two crates. Again, you'll see first aid kits and bags everywhere, and they're always in the same spot, so you know what to expect. Just run in and grab them, and then, on the roof, there is sometimes a crate up there, so don't miss that. Go all the way up and check for it right here.
You can drop down and continue to loot, depending on how much time you have. I noticed that these matches can run around 20 minutes or so if you do this method you're going to end up being the person with the most cash in the game every time pretty early on, and you will be targeted so I just go to a buy station and buy a bunch of crap and get rid of my money in this match here I was solo, and I got over 1, 800.
Bones and like 50 mimic skulls and then the rest for the other skulls and this was me solo if you have other players in the match it'll definitely help because these skulls and bones are collective like whatever yall pick up it accumulates on the screen and everybody benefits at this rate of getting 1, 800 bones you're going to need over 5 and 1/ 12 games played to collect 10, 000.
And about 20 minute games, this is going to put you in a little under 2 hours, and since you're collecting skulls at the same time, if you're going for mimic goals, you're going to have this done in four games if you're getting 50 an hour, which is about average, and again, this is about the same for the war zone.
