News - Modern Warfare 2: New Update Fixes Some Big Issues, Free Content Rewards, More. Warzone 2 Update
Now there are a few other issues that are not currently listed on the Trello board, but I have confirmed that Infinity Ward, Raven, and Call of Duty are aware of these. In Warzone, at the start of a game in the pre-game lobby or the warm-up session, you'll notice that some lobbies just never start; they don't end up filling; they might start off with like 130 out of 150 players, but then players start to disconnect, and it goes down to 120, 110, and 90, and the lobby never starts.
They are aware of this issue with the lobby not sort of refilling if players are backing out, so that hopefully will be resolved here pretty soon. There's also an issue where there is a UI bug currently that says that you need to purchase Modern Warfare 2 in order to play War Zone 2. I want to stress this: you do not have to buy Modern Warfare 2.
It's going to be annoying to have to continuously restart your game, but it is a workaround for the time being until they actually have a full-on fix for that out.
