News - M13b Better Than M4 After Buff. Best M13b Class Setup (warzone 2)
Season 2 m13b buff / changes
So the M13B in season 2 received a pretty significant buff that is potentially metashifting, and we're going to get into that in a little bit. The m13b was one of those weapons that I just did not want to touch at all, especially with a slow TTK. It was literally one of the slowest-killing assault rifles in the game, and I'm pretty sure this is exactly why Infinity War decided to go ahead and buff it.
So previously we had a five-shot kill to the entire torso of the body, and this is up to 31 meters; that's about as high a TTK that you can get there, and then of course we talked about the four-shot kill to the head pretty much at any range after season two, the infinite range. A four-shot kill to the head is still here and is still going to be the same exact thing, which is still amazing, and the upper torso did receive the damage.
Buffs as they stated in the patch notes, and now it's only going to take four shots to kill at this 31-meter range, so here you see it separated: four shots to kill at the upper torso, and then five shots to kill once you get beyond 32 plus meters. This is really going to be game-changing, as is this headshot.
I have a little verdict here: nice buff to the upper torso damage, and you get a faster TTK. Now the new time to kill -- and this is huge; this is why it's meta-shifting -- is that it is now a 213 millisecond time to kill. We're going to take a look at a graph here in a little bit, but in short, this is a faster TTK at these ranges than the M4, stb556.
And the Chimera, which is literally almost half of the assault rifles in the category, and that's why it makes the Amp 13 a definite contender and also a candidate for top-tier meta, albeit not 100 The meta is definitely there. I would definitely rank it at the top.
New m13b ttk comparison vs. ar's
We have five here. The m13b now has a 213 millisecond time to kill up in this upper chest area. There is not a single assault rifle that goes up to this range that has a faster time to kill than the m13b, now except. The cast-off 762 is, on paper, an absolutely amazing assault rifle in my opinion.
I just did a article breaking down some pretty insane buffs made to that weapon; make sure to check that out on my channel, but needless to say, there is a 13 millisecond discrepancy between the 762 and the M13. Now is really not that big of a deal, of course, on paper. Definitively, the 762 is a faster-killing assault rifle with a much better range, obviously, but you know, just for comparison purposes, that's why I'm just including it here.
Now take a look at what the M13 used to be, which is 284 milliseconds. So we get a pretty significant buff here to our upper torso damage from the 74U as well as the 545. Still kill a lot faster as well as the 762, so those are still going to be some top-tier assault rifles, but I was fairly surprised that it definitely beats the M4 in this category, and the fact that its recall control is really, really easy to control makes it even more dangerous.
Best m13b class setup
I just want to state that the secondary tactical lethal, etc., are all personal preference; you can use whatever you want to so we're going to start off here with the muzzle and I went with the x10 ported 290 for that vertical recoil control now the reason why is that it has a fairly vertical recoil, dominant pattern so obviously we want to find an attachment that is going to counteract that so that's why we went with the x10 ported to 90 just, to be able to control this as much as we possibly can now one thing I do have to say about the m13b.
is that it has one of the cleanest patterns. As far as recoil goes, needless to say, it's one of the most accurate assault rifles in the game, and you should have zero problems controlling recoil now for tuning. I went with 0.15 for that aim-down sight speed and 0.20 for that aim-idle stability. All right, now moving on to the underbarrel.
I went with the Merc 4 grip for hipfire accuracy, recoil steadiness, hip recoil control, and aim walking steadiness. As you can already tell, this attachment is great for close quarters combat obviously with the M13 you want to be as versatile as possible all right now for tuning I went with hip walking speed at 0.49 ounces and, a.
09 towards that aim down sight speed all right next up we have the laser so the vlk laser seven milliwatt gives us aim down side speed aiming stability and Sprint to fire speed so when it comes to lasers a lot of people tend to stray away from them but in fact , from my testing they actually do help quite a bit and the reason why I like this specific laser is because of that aim down side speed you essentially get a, free handling attribute.
at, pretty much, the cost of nothing, so this actually does help us in counteracting the aim down side speed negatives that we got from the muzzle as well as the under barrel, so this helps truly balance out the weapon as far as our handling goes, and also what's cool in season two is that you're able to tune the lasers, so for this laser I went with 0.39, towards that sprint to fire speed, and 39.48.
Feet towards that aim down side speed all right now moving on to the stock this is the Bruin flash V4, stock, so just a quick disclaimer, you are actually not able to tune this so this one is going to give us a lot of attributes towards our mobility as well as handling, which is again going to balance out the weapon as much as possible because like I said, this gun is already a very easy gun to control with recoil, so we don't really need too many attachments that are going to help us out in that category, not maximize the true potential of this weapon and make it a movement beast, so that's why we're using this one.
All right, and last but not least, we do have the Bruin flash grip, so I would say this is an optional attachment. You can either go with the Bruin flash grip or, if you're still struggling for whatever reason with controlling that recoil, then you can go ahead with the d37 grip, but personally. I don't think it needs this one.
I think the Bruin flash grip is perfect now for tuning. I went with 0.77 for that recoil steadiness and 0.35 for that idle stability.
Movement speed test
All right, so now we're going to go ahead and test out the movement speed of our base M13 versus our newly customized M13 build with all the attachments that I do recommend, so basically what we're looking for here is whether or not our new custom build makes us slower or faster, so we're just going to see who gets there first at the end of the wall there, and we'll just.
