News - First Look At Warzone 2 Season 2 Battle Pass Operators, New Content Update & More
Intro
Call of Duty just revealed the MW3 season 2 battle pass operators. There are a bunch of surprises to break down here, plus more events releasing in today's article. Be sure to drop a like on the article. If so, go on to enjoy, but first up here Call of Duty tweeted this out hunt to survive: face The Horde in season 2 of Call of Duty War Zone and MW3 is coming on February 7th, so that release date, of course, as we've been talking about, was confirmed today.
Next week, on Wednesday. February 7th, this season will go live pretty cool, and we got our first official images of the season the main operators were getting as well, which I'm pretty surprised by because the main one here they're showing season 2 MW3 War Zone is actually a ghost operator skin, which is honestly super interesting.
I mean, I really like it. This reminds me of if you guys remember that Vanguard pre-order bonus, the Ghost of War operator skin, which has that type of similar vibe with the blue flames. Right, but this is so sick, and I talked about this in my previous article about having more variations of Cool Task Force 14.
Operators, you know operators we've seen for a while now cool campaign skins that have a different flare to them would be fire, and that's what we're getting here, so super interesting stuff. I love the look of this skin overall, and then the other image here for the war zone side of things. Of course, the operators will be usable in MW3 and War Zone, but for this one, we have, of course which seems like Fortune's Keep in the background, which we talk about later on in this article that's going to be in season 2, but also the ghost operator skin in the middle, which is really sick on the right.
Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead confirmed as an operator here, and on the left we have a ghilly suit operator. I'm not sure if that's an existing operator in the game already or just a new one for the battle pass, but regardless, So cool here, so Rick Grimes is a pretty big deal. I'll talk about that more in a second because, again, we thought this would be some type of big event in the game and it could still be, but based on this advertisement and this reveal here, it seems like Rick Grimes might actually be a part of the battle pass, which I think is so cool, similar to what they did for the last battle pass of MW2, where you had a bunch of official spawn.
Operators in the battle pass as opposed to in-store bundles, so I can't wait to see that we should be getting more Walking Dead themed content in this season as well, but before we break down some more stuff, here a quick shout to my partner Apex Gaming PCs, a bunch of great customizable PCs over there great for making articles playing Call of Duty stuff like that.

Mw3 x the walking dead crossover event details
We got that first leak about a crossover, with The Walking Dead being the ones who live a new spin-off series releasing very soon and Call of Duty, so Rick Grimes has been confirmed as the other main operator would be Michonne, and she got leaked out a couple of times here now. Obviously, they might save her for a later reveal, but still cool to see the leaks we got so far is that we're going to have some type of Michonne, operator, with potential.
A sword is here, and there's a bow as well, which doesn't make much sense with Rick Grimes, but I guess a bow will be tied into this event as well. It makes a lot of sense, though, if they're doing a Walking Dead-themed battle pass, because you got to actually put these in the battle pass and make it make more sense as opposed to releasing them in a store bundle, where of course it wouldn't be pay to win, but if you had a melee weapon you could only get in a store bundle, that would be kind of unfair unless it was a reskin.
Like with a doom bundle, so if we do have this entire battle pass around The Walking Dead with a Zombies theme as well with all these melee weapons to theoretically kill zombies, that would be a pretty cool vibe overall for a new battle pass, and a sledgehammer developer also responded to this tweet by saying one of the best battle pass offerings we've had, so that's also interesting now; he could just be saying that, but I don't know, the vibes of this battle pass seem to be pretty cool.
Now talking more about The Walking Dead, here we of course got that leak about Hordo from Cod World War II returning in MW3, which, if you guys don't know what that's about, is pretty much zombies in multiplayer. Now this is a mode that would make a lot of sense in a Walking Dead-themed event, crossover, or just season overall, where again you have zombies in multiplayer.
That's good enough for a Walking Dead event, right? Being able to use Rick and Michonne. Use these melee weapons to kill zombies, and MP P would be fire, having a similar mode to War Zone as well, like previous War Zone zombie events killing zombies, becoming a zombie. Whatever variation they want to do, that would be cool.
There are no leaks on what that could look like in MW3. Zombies itself, obviously. I talked about what a potential Walking Dead event could look like in MW3, zombies, and how they could have specific modes and things to do in each mode to make an interesting game because you obviously can't just add zombies because there's already zombies, but we'll talk about that more in future articles. But regardless, at least for multi-player H Point returning, it makes a lot of sense here now in season 2 with the Walking Dead event as well.
All new operators releasing in mw3 season 2
Now for other operator skins, we have a whole list of a bunch of new operators releasing now. A big question I have is: Well, because she was leaked out to be the main operator for this season, it seems like that's no longer the case unless that's going to be for season 3.
Maybe she's going to take on a minor role. I'm not so sure we thought we were getting a milim-themed season 2 battle pass; it seems like this is more of a zombie Walking Dead type season, and the Milson battle pass maybe for season 3. I have no clue what's going on there, but to run through these operators again, we have a low price.
Soap ghost far, Marov Nolan Warden Valeria, We have a jet-propelled Pathfinder. Alpine and BBQ Bantam Scorch jabber Enigma Swagger Riptide, lockpick, and then some new ones November Oscar Cal bikes Judo beta, so a lot of these here could also be store bundle operators, battle pass operators; it's pretty much every operator in season 2, so maybe there will be a store bundle later on in the season, not for the battle pass. You know, we'll get more information on that very soon, but it seems like this season we will be getting a lot of variations of different operator skins in the game, which overall.
