I would say that's going to have the biggest impact on the chopper Gunner, and when you combine that with these other adjustments. I would say this is going to be a pretty big net buff to the chopper Gunner. It's going to stay in the air a whole lot longer, and you're going to be able to fight back against people that are shooting you far more effectively than pre-patched.

After that, though, with the EMP, they decreased the cost to earn from 13 kills down to 12 kills, and they also just fixed an issue where visual effects will no longer play twice if the player dies during detonation. And then finally, with four kill streak adjustments with the Swarm, they fixed an issue that was causing drones to dive bomb immediately after the player who summoned them died.

This was the biggest downside to using the swarm; if you called the swarm in and then died, your swarm would die too, and therefore you would lose all effectiveness. And as a result, the most effective way to play with the swarm if you did earn one was to basically just camp in a nice, safe area while your swarm does all the damage, and that was kind of lame; it didn't allow you to run out there and actually continue to get kills, so this is a ridiculously big buff to the swarm; it's going to have a consistent lifetime now of 45 seconds, but then on top of this, they mentioned they just fixed an issue causing drones to spawn away from the play Space on both that house as well as Marcato Las almus, so this swm should be performing a whole lot more effectively on those maps as well.

And there we go. They're upset over all of the killstreak changes. Now let's talk about the new kill streaks that are coming with season 4, which interestingly, at the time of recording this article, which is shortly after the update went live, the only one of these streaks that's available is the missile drone, and this one requires 11 kills to earn or 1375.

Score, and it's essentially the reaper from the original Modern Warfare 3 or the load star from like Black Ops 2 for instance, so with this once you fire your missile you can actually guide it so you can like curve it around corners or into a window for instance, and it's so much fun to use this. And on each activation, the drone selects the targeted location with the largest number of viable targets to bombard with rockets, and it can be activated up to three times.

After that, we have the IMs, which you guys might remember from the original Modern Warfare 3. This is a placeable piece of equipment, and it's got four smart explosives, so it can trigger four times. When an enemy gets close, it launches that explosive up in the air and then down toward the target, and it will kill them.

This one requires a seven-kill streak, or 875. Score to earn, and then finally we have the DNA bomb and we did get some more information on the DNA bomb but at least as far as I can tell it's not currently active in the game at least not in custom games but with this apparently it's actually going to be replacing the MGB so the MGB is going to be taken out of the game and instead we're going to have the DNA bomb which we earn on a 25 gun streak instead of a 30 gun streak, and this one's on by default you don't have to select it as one of your streaks and with this one it's effectively like an MGB but unlike the MGB it doesn't immediately end the game all it does is it kills all the enemy players, and then they're able to respawn.
