Welcome back to a brand new article, and in this one we're going to go over all the free season 2 rewards that you'll be able to get during the entire update. There's going to be over 10 different ways that you'll be able to get some free content, and on top of that, the rewards are going to be well over 100, so feel free to skip to whichever part you want.
Season 2 weekly challenge rewards & camo (9 rewards)
Kit, and then there's another one called the Tyrant 762.
Black history free gift pack in season 2
Designed by our team, join the celebration and claim your gift pack in the store for a limited time starting on February 8th. Usually, gift packs like this will consist of calling cards, emblems, and stickers. And a loading screen; they're usually not going to throw in a blueprint.
Mw3 season 2 events & rewards (33 rewards)
And usually there's going to be some sort of mastery camo at the end, and then the challenge-based events are going to have a weapon blueprint as a mastery.
Adding up all the rewards that they said would be available in each event, there's going to be a total of 33 different rewards that you'll be able to claim from now until the midseason.
Fortunes keep rewards & easter eggs (10 rewards)
Update: Just solely based on the different events that are going to go live going into the next section, these are going to be the Resurgence Fortune keep rewards that you'll be able to claim. The first one is actually tied to one of the events that's coming out; that's called The Horde Hunt.
There's going to be an eradication. Contract on Fortune Keep, which will have a bounty target, and the bounty is going to be an elite zombie, so it might be a mimic, it might be a disciple, it might be a mangler. One of those is going to end up being a Target you have to go over there and you have to eliminate them by doing so they're going to drop some sort of Bones you're going to collect those and that will help you complete your challenge for the hord hunt good news is that's not the only way you can get some free rewards apparently there might be some hidden Easter eggs that will be available, and due to Fortune keep and the nature of this map all the secrets that it has apparently there's hidden vaults which will be filled with loot as well as rewards and as you guys have noticed with the pattern that every single time Call of Duty adds a brand new map there's usually some sort of a secret Easter egg that you can complete and that would get you some rewards and I'm not talking in-game ones that would get you things like calling cards weapon blueprints, we saw with vondo how there was a full-on Easter egg we saw shik Island had hidden Easter eggs spread around every couple weeks a new one was added surprisingly.
Before the map was even out right now, the players who actually got invited to Treyarch mentioned that there were hidden vaults that the developers told them about, but they weren't able to find them. There were also notes, which you can see here from these photos, that indicate some sort of clue or teaser about something else that they can do.
There's also a bank heist that is mentioned, and there's really a lot going on with this map, and there's definitely going to be an Easter egg and rewards. If I were to give a ballpark estimate on how many rewards or Easter eggs are going to be available, I'm going to say around 10 different rewards. Just based on the different Easter eggs that we've seen in the past with other maps speaking of War Zone, there are other rewards you'll be able to get, the first one being the nuke.
Nuke quest operator & free weapon case rewards (10+ rewards)
Ator looks like it hasn't gotten updated with season 2; no changes for it are available. If you haven't been able to get that new contract skin, you'll still have a chance during the entirety of season 2.
You'll need five wins in your extand or 30 wins in the entirety of the season; it will issue the brand new operator and a brand new weapon camo. Try to complete the contract; if you can complete it, you'll end up getting the rewards that will issue the brand new operator and a brand new weapon camo.
There's things like calling cards and emblem stickers. And also, if you end up seeing someone complete a nuke in your lobby, yeah, you actually get some hidden rewards as well. I believe there's a calling card and an emblem that you get for that, and then on top of that, there's the Battle Royale preview, which they did mention is limited time.
This is the mode where they added in the weapon case and the covert xfill, and if you were to get the weapon case and xfill out, you'll be able to get a decal, 15 minutes of XP the first four times that you do it, and then upon the fifth time that you xfill, you get a brand new MTZ 762.
Resurgence ranked rewards & operators (30 rewards)
Solely on the rank that you end up placing at very similar to MW2, rank and the original war zone rank that we saw if you place bronze you get an emblem you place silver you get an emblem once you start hitting gold this is where you see operator skins so you'll get an operator skin there's going to be four different variants two male two female two home two away and then you get a gold emblem and then a large decal and that continues on the same thing for plat different color variation.
Diamond: the same thing, different color variation; you have crimson, and then you have iridiscent. I believe this is when the operator starts changing; instead of one line coming down his face, he has three, and then there's also the top 250. Which unlocks a couple of things you have: the operator skin, the emblem, and the large decal.
And then you also get a sticker on top of that the second way in Resurgence rank that you can get rewards is going to be the divisional, rewards these work where you have to gain Stars simply by playing the game doing well and Performing well placing High you end up getting Stars you can get up to three stars per match every single five stars you get will get you a new rank so at rank five you get a calling card and a vehicle skin at Rank 10 you get a calling card and an animated emblem, rank 15 you get a calling card and a weapon sticker, rank 20 you get calling card and a weapon charm 25 you get you a calling card and an animated emblem 30 you get a calling card and a weapon camo, 35 you get a calling card and a weapon sticker at 40 a calling card and a weapon decal.
Rank 45 gets you a calling card and the weapon charm, and at rank 50 you get a calling card, an animated emblem, and four brand new operator skins. The third way to get rewards is to be challenge-based, so these are exclusive to every season and will change every season. It says to finish in the top eight 25 times to get a large decal; finish in the top five 10 times, and you'll get the Pro Isue Striker SMG blueprint.
