News - Wtf. This Season 1 Reloaded Update Is Cancelled For Warzone 2. Dmz. Returns. New Rewards Leaked
So we␙re getting a dmz ltm now? somewhat
DMZ, It might as well bring back DMZ at this point for Ukan. It's just funny to think about, but like I mentioned earlier, this really does seem like a really harmless addition of content that only adds more replayability. Into the ukan war zone experience giving you more to do, and the funny thing is that I feel like the most hardcore Grinders out there who probably were complaining the most about this are the ones that probably could have benefited the most from this feature cuz I bet there would have been a time and maybe not permanently, but there could have been a time where let's say you're going for Champions Quest you got three to four wins you need one more but you get into a really tough Lobby that you're just not vibing with and you know you're probably not going to win that game you're about to lose your streak you save up a bunch of money you cover xville, and maybe it saves and preserves your Champions Quest streak and you can go into another game and get another shot that would be a really cool way to encourage more players to go for Champions Quest and a really cool way to just give players an extra way out besides dying or winning. If they're also in a really tough lobby, now we're not going to see that probably ever and this may give us less to look forward to in reloaded.
Raven broke silence but took it back ?
Now we might just be getting Champions Quest on January 17th. What's really odd though is that Ted Timmons, who as of now is practically the face of War Zone and even Raven, is involved, and I'm aware that when it comes to any new map, game, or content drop, it's not just one person or studio responsible for all that; it's a collective effort from multiple studios and multiple heads.
I get that, and I just want to point that out. T put out this tweet about a day prior to the cancellation of this new content for Reloaded, where he mentions that they're cooking, they're trying something new, they're excited about it, really confident in it, but don't expect even one team to cover Xville in every match.
Then fine-raise the player count to 121. They're attempting to see if they're marked on an attack map by dozens of other people while holding a weapon case, so it's sad that even Ted probably didn't know they were going to be canceling or delaying this content for the war zone. Looking at the rest of the blog post for the war zone side of things, we obviously have the new Champions Quest coming to Zstan.
The new champions quest update revealed
It'll probably feature different challenges and different elements, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they're going to handle it. Some new rewards for Champions Quest did also leak out by the usual data miners over on Twitter, and their awards look pretty good.
We're talking some emblems, a charm animated calling card, and some other cool stuff, as you guys will see. I think even a weapon decal on top of the really nice-looking animated skin that Raven did reveal a little while back. A change to the status quo is that you can either get five consecutive wins in a row to get the contract or win 30 total games within a single season.
So that's a cool alternative for those out there who maybe never got to attempt Champions Quest. I still think they should have done that special event right before Amazar got removed, where there's like three contracts active and guaranteed. In a match, they could have at least added that back in for a day so that people had a last-minute opportunity to earn the rewards, but Champions Quest is going to be back, which might be the only thing added on the 17th for the war zone, just FYI.
Nvg public event update to the gulag!
I'm not confident that weapon case mold is going to be available by the 17th, but lastly, there's a new Gulag public event where you'll get a chance at seeing a night vision version of the gag, so you can secure the win to win the match and leave your opponent in the dark. I'm looking forward to seeing how common that public event is going to be.
I feel like people are probably going to be frustrated with how difficult it might be in comparison to other goolag events, but nonetheless, there is still new content for the war zone experience, but that is about it. This has been DK Dynamite; leave our thoughts.
Closing statements
Reload how you feel about them handling in a dedicated mode for this content now, plus everything else we discussed. I really hope you've enjoyed it.Peace out.
