News - Warzone: Best "ram-9" Bp50" Meta Loadouts. New Season 2 Weapon Update. Warzone Meta
New warzone season 2 weapons ␓ are they meta?
Today, we, of course, got some brand new weapons in War Zone 2, to be exact. One is the BP50 assault rifle, aka the FN2000. The other is the ram 9, not to be confused with the ram 7. This one's an SMG, and today I wanted to break down the best setups for each of our new season 2 weapons. Here they are actually, surprisingly, fun in certain aspects, pretty easy to level up, and definitely will be a factor in The Meta moving forward.

Do me a favor. Drop a like on it; it's always seriously appreciated, and if you are new here, you want to guarantee that every single day you are always up to date with all things going on in Call of Duty. Whether it's news updates, patch notes, or meta breakdowns, it's all right here. But first up here, we've got the Rival 9.
This, in my opinion, is definitely the better of our two new weapons; it feels nice. I got to say that in general, right now the SMG category is super competitive. I mean, buffs to the wasp 9 today, making it even more solid. The striker is good. The base Striker is good; obviously, the HMR 9 and the AM-9 are right there at the very top as well.
This is in the mix, for sure. This thing is fast; it's agile and aggressive; pretty low recoil; easy to use; and its ttk is surprising. Solid as well definitely holds its own in the close and early mid-range here now admittedly the setup here I won't lie is hard to narrow down to one specific one so while I do have my five base attachments here there are some adjustments you can make you know you can throw in some substitutions, and call some timeouts and put in the subs where needed so initially here for the muzzle this is where I'm kind of back and forth right away, the Sonic suppressor is always really good on some SMGs that are already Snappy and aggressive as is because it's only hurting your control a little bit which is not a huge deal in close range and then also your Sprint to firewall it's also giving you better range and better velocity just adding in some versatility.
The weapon in general and the effective damage range on the Ram 9 are not anything too crazy; you can see it just under 11 M here with the Sonic suppressor increasing, and obviously, this will keep you off the mini map, so you'll be stealthy and you'll be able to play to that. The advantage is basically there, but at the same time, you know, obviously close range, the Jack BFB has been up there lately.
They did actually Nerf this, though pretty significantly, with the velocity Nerf there, and then also hurt your ad speeds and your movement penalties more with today's update as well, so that's why I'm a bit hesitant to use that, but if you do want really good control, the Jack BFB would be an option, or if you'd rather just opt for a different compensator.
There are some good choices here as well, like the castle compensator. I personally really enjoy the great horizontal control, but you have some options in the muzzle category in general. Now I'm not running a barrel, and here's why our first one here hurts your range even more, and your V is not great for just some better control on an SMG.
Not really a huge deal; the imperator is a decent barrel. Sincerely, it's helping out your ad traffic, which is solid, and your range and velocity, but at the same time, it is hurting your control a little bit more than I'd like to. Obviously, some things are doing it, helping a little bit, but these are hurting it more than that, so not drastic.
It's not going to crush the weapon if you want to use it, but it's still not optimal. The armus light is all movement-based, and it hurts your control, so if you wanted a super snappy build, this would be the go-to, but it's not doing anything for range or anything there, and then the integrated suppressor I'd actually run this in multiplayer, and when we do our top 10 multiplayer loadouts here in a couple of days.
I'll probably have this on my setup. But for the war zone, that 24% decrease in the effective range, making it an 8-meter first damage range, is just not good enough. It just doesn't add up here because it says the Velocity in the range is getting a pro to it; it's getting buffed, but you can see that in the advance stats it's not so.
Until it's corrected here in one way or another, I'd stay away from it, but it is something to take note of for sure. Instead, I do go for the Dr6 hand stop under Barrel, just all in on better mobility, better movement speed, strafe speed, and ad speed sprint to fire, making it snappy and aggressive.
You got to run the 50-round mag on this; in my opinion, it's got a pretty fast fire rate, so you want to be going all in on extended mags here. Safety net 40 would be doable in solos, but anything beyond that 50 is going to be the go-to for sure. I also go for the retort 90 grip tape. This is going to be kind of that free control we talked about lately; aiming ID sway con for close range is not a deal breaker just because Targets are so much larger, it's easier to stay on them even with the idol Sway, and there's a bit less of that now because of the update today as well, so it's going to keep the gun nice, controllable, and steady, obviously, and lastly, the motion.
Tack pad stock This is going to help out with a little bit of ad speed in Sprint of Fire. It hurts your control a tad bit, but you are getting more aggressiveness out of a build with this on there. I also like the ULTR light stock, though it's not doing anything for ads or Sprint of Fire, and it's only hurting gun kick, which is more visual-based, and it's doing a lot for your mobility elsewhere with strafe speed, general movement speed, and Sprint speed, so that's a good alternative.
As well, if you don't like the optics, you could drop an underbarrel or a stock and throw on, you know, an ELO cight or a red dot if you wanted to, and also lasers could be a viable option too if you wanted to throw on, like the Nighthawk here while it's visible, which gives it some crazy good 8 d s and sprint of fire stats as well, so there's a lot of options for this.
This is what I've been running so far, and it has done its job; it's definitely sufficient, and Ram 9 is absolutely.

In that SMG meta, the BP50 is now an interesting rifle. I definitely think it's competitive, and it's in the conversation. It is lacking in a couple of areas overrange; its damage doesn't seem to be crazy good; it hits, but it's not, you know, lmg power that so many longrange metas are based around right now, and it's limited in ammo pretty drastically; it's got a fast fire rate for a rifle, and our Max here is going to be a 45-round mag, so the damage per mag is not great, meaning that over long range unless you are laser accurate.
