News - Warzone 2 Season 3 "free Trial" Download & Content. Multiplayer & Zombies
This is DK Dynamite, and this morning we're going to be talking about the free trial for MW3, season 3, an update on some long-awaited rewards, plus even more. Drop a like, and as a reminder, I ended up quad-uploading yesterday with the launch of our third season. I want to thank all of you guys for the crazy amount of support you showed on stream, and with those individual articles covered in patch notes, the battle passed, as did the brand new week one challenges to unlock new aftermarket parts and even a Rebirth Island BLPR Easter egg.
There was so much to cover on day one, but there's even more that I'll be posting later today, following the launch of season 3. I got plenty of brand new articles up over on {704}, thanks to the very talented team that I'm fortunate to be working with every single day.
Season 3 game breaking bugs
Show them all some love over on {704}, but I first want to address a bunch of the game issues that you guys have probably been experiencing. I address quite a few of these on stream, and I want to start with battl net, so this was the first time the launch of season 3 where I couldn't get into the game for around 35, or more minutes.
After the season has already started, typically even on Battl Net, I'm aware that it caps your download speed when you're trying to grab an update for a certain title. Typically, I'm able to get in within a good 5 to 10 minutes. I have 12200 down, and still, it just didn't let me get into season 3 as of yesterday.
I was looking at like 10 to 20 megabytes a second, and it took almost. I want to say, 40ish minutes to actually play Modern Warfare 3, so that was a big issue, but it looks like across the board. Battl Net was slower than usual for the season 3 download. On top of that when it comes to Xbox, there was another weird issue where it was uninstalling people's games and we've seen this a few times before but this time around it was giving folks an error where they couldn't actually, install the season 3 update it would just get stuck and it was like that for almost the whole day and I know Cod updates did address this along with the black screen issues right there were some black screen issues on Console where some folks out there were able to install the patch but then upon booting up the game got stuck in a black screen type of loop reinstalling, the entire game didn't help but I think it may have helped some folks out there but certainly not a majority of the community There were a number of problems with the launch of our third season, but luckily, a lot of them have been ironed out as of right now.
The new 6v6 maps are fantastic
Now, real quickly, in the background, we do have some gameplay of the new emergency 6v6 map. I'm also using the brand new FJX, the Horus SMG. Tons of fun playing this map. We also have a 24/7 playlist for not just emergencies but even six-star music. We have some great 6v6 offerings here inside of season 3, so definitely expect more 247 playlists to be released periodically over the next couple of weeks.
I think these maps are excellent, and I think multiplayer guys have some of the strongest support we've ever seen for a Call of Duty post-launch cycle now.
New season 3 cutscene revealed␦
I do want to mention my disappointment with the season 3 intro cinematic cut scene. Sadly, it's not really a cut scene that pushes the narrative that we thought was going to be explored over the course of five or six seasons.
I already expect that with season six it'll probably be themed Around the Haunting again, which means the cut scene will probably be something that has nothing to do with the actual narrative of the game, which I'm actually fine with in October, especially if that's right before the launch of Black Ops Golf 4 or Try's new premium title.
they did that with they did that with MW2 last year, where season 6 was just a big, haunting type of update. I get it, but we at least got some serious cinematic cut scenes in seasons 3, 4, and 5 of Modern Warfare 2. The first two seasons were also just centered around Mazra and Ashika, respectively.
This time around Modern Warfare 3, none of the post-launch cut scenes have really covered anything to do with the story; they were just these big advertisements for the various bundles, skins, cosmetics, and black cells. And I'm okay with them putting out cinematic cutscenes like that, but I would also still like to see cutscenes that are as serious as the ones we got during the Cold War cycle, which really pushed the story forward and set up a really cool narrative that hopefully gets followed up upon within Black Ops 2024.
Maybe we're just not going to get a serious story for MW3 post-launch, so we'll have to wait for Infinity Ward or Sledg Hammer's next title to really pick up where the ending of the campaign left off. Now before we continue, I just wanted to remind you about Mitch {704}, where you can get assistance grinding camos nukes or schematics in MW3.
These guys do not use unlock tools or any banable methods and will actually help you play the game. Mitch Cactus is also supported by Trustpilot, with over 10,000 verified reviews.
Play mw3 season 3 free this weekend
You can use C Dynamite for a limited time to save 5% off your order, but now when it comes to the free trial for season 3, it looks like they're kicking off the brand new season with a free trial weekend. This has happened, I think, once or twice before, but we've typically seen a free trial happen during the middle of a season, so it's cool to see something a bit different this time around.
From April 4th until the 8th, you could play a portion of Moder Warfare 3 multiplayer and the entirety of Modern Warfare 3 zombies absolutely free. This will be available on all platforms starting today at, I want to say, 10:00 a. M pacific maybe a bit after that, but the information we got for the free trial is kind of limited, but we did get a graphic for it, and I'm sure more info will be provided about this trial in the next couple of hours.
Stash House, and Rust playable across five core modes that'll include Capture the Flag. I'm sure. Probably domination, free-for-all, kill confirmed we're also going to be seeing Airborne, which is a brand new Vortex map that got added with the mid-season 2 update, and Satan's Quest, a Vortex map from the season 1 reloaded update.
You're going to see all these maps playable inside of 6v6, and on top of the fact that you're going to get the entirety of MW3. Zombies talking all the dark ether. Rifts all the ACT missions, all the little side quests, you could use all the schematics, so you get the entirety of MWZ.
