News - The Warzone 2 Season 3 Weapons. Bal-27 & Mors - Advanced Warfare
This is DK Dynamite, and tonight we're going to be talking about the advanced warfare weapons coming to season 3 of MW3. Also, as a reminder, we got plenty of brand new content going up over on {637} for those that want additional coverage of multiplayer Warzone zombies, even Warzone Mobile, plus we got plenty of tweets every single hour on detonated Twitter.
Now in the background, we do some nasty chainsword gameplay from the brand new Jugger MOS LTM, inside of MW3, multiplayer. It's honestly an easy nuke. If you guys can manage to get the chain sword on a map like Dos House and you just keep ripping through enemies and grabbing their armor plates, you can get what I consider a guaranteed nuke, as we did on stream yesterday. So you'll be seeing some really good gameplay of this mode over the next couple of days in several different articles of mine, but there is one reward in particular that I want to mention really quickly from the Warhammer 40K , which is called for the emperor.
Free flashbang skin unlock
It's an XP-focused event that only requires you to get about half a million XP, but you have two weeks to do so.
One of the rewards is a flashbang skin, which sadly doesn't do anything special when you stun an enemy with it; it's just an actual skin for the tactical equipment that's literally similar to The Cursed ammo box that was also released as a reward a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't really do anything, but let's see if in the future they end up doing equipment skins that actually change the effects of when you activate the field upgrade or the equipment or when you affect another player while using it.
Let's see if they make changes like that, such as what we saw for the black cell smoke skin back during Modern Warfare 2's life cycle.
Capture the flag returning soon
What's really cool is that in the Modern Warfare 3 subreddit, some folks out there were talking about which game modes they wanted to see return during this year's Call of Duty post-launch season, and they mentioned Capture the Flag demolition.
Funny enough, demolition has already leaked out. I think the icon for it did surface about a month or two ago, so that should be dropping at some point in a future season, but for folks to mention Capture the Flag, you're in luck. Obviously, it was featured briefly in Modern Warfare 2's post-launch season, but as of last year, it was only available for, I believe, a select couple of weeks.
Sledgehammer did reply to this Reddit post with the I Emoji, suggesting the capture of the flag is bound to come to multiplayer. Probably with season three, I made big news. Roundup a couple of days ago talking about our third season of content, and you guys probably noticed that I didn't talk about any game modes for multiplayer that are upcoming because we just don't know about any, but it looks like Capture the Flag is probably going to be one of them, so I'll keep you guys posted on what is coming to the game relatively soon.

Now speaking of Sledgehammer responding to folks over on Reddit, there was a Q&A done a couple of months ago in which some folks out there did ask about the Spaz 12 shotgun possibly returning to the game, and Slammer did reply by saying there are multiple classic weapons from the Modern Warfare series that we are looking to add in future seasons.
Now this will include shotguns and sniper rifles. It doesn't confirm the SP 12 specifically, but considering we haven't really had any DLC shotguns added to the SP 12, it is probably a candidate, but leave your best bets. I'm still guessing that there were a ton of other weapons planned to be added in Modern Warfare 2 last year that either got saved for this game or maybe even got scrapped entirely, but speaking of scrapped weapons, both the Asm1 and EM1 from Advanced Warfare were rumored to come to MW3.
Asm1 & em1 scrapped for mw3?
I think it was even during the preseason window of this game that these weapons were rumored and apparently leaked out via the game's files, but sadly, the asm1. SMG, has been removed from the game's files and is no longer coming to the game, but the EM1 is a weapon that I believe was misinterpreted for the Storm Ender, a launcher that maybe had a similar-looking icon in the game's files, but apparently.
That EM1 file that got data mind did get changed to the MP9, machine pistol, so that's a weapon that we have seen in previous Call of Duty that is set to come as a launch weapon in Modern Warfare 3. Now, although those two Advanced Warfare weapons aren't coming to the game, that doesn't mean that other ones aren't, and we'll get back to that, but we also have what is called a compound bow, which is supposedly slated for season 3.
Compound bow coming very soon
I'm going to guess it's either going to be a battle pass weapon at launch or could be one that's added in.
Via a weekly challenge, we'll have to wait and see how they're going to incorporate this compound bow, but we already have a crossbow in the game. It's unclear how different the compound bow is going to be. Obviously, a crossbow and a compound bow aren't the same thing. We have seen a compound bow in older Call of Duty campaigns, but we've never really seen one in multiplayer unless you consider the sparrow ability from Black Ops 3 to be a compound bow.
Different Amo types and attachments did leak out for a compound bow, so that should be dropping in the near future. This has also been leaked out for quite some time. Now before we continue, I just wanted to remind you about Mitch {637}, where you can get assistance grinding camos nukes or schematics in MW3.

You can use go Dynamite for a limited time to save 5% off your order , but going back to Advanced Warfare Weaponry, two weapons that haven't been removed from the game's files that leakers out there have been talking about for the last couple of months now are both the Bal assault rifle and the Morse sniper rifle.
So these are, of course, weapons that were very popular during Advanced Warfare's life cycle, which Sledgehammer also fully developed, so I'm not surprised that Sledgehammer is going to bring some fan-favorite weaponry or content back from games they previously worked on. Right away, when I hear the bow, I'm like, All right, the obsidian seed has to come back.
That was a supply drop variant of that assault rifle that we saw back in, like, 2014 or 2015. I wouldn't be shocked if they sold a bundle that featured that classic Obsidian Steed or if they had maybe a free blueprint for the batt via the battle pass, and I get it, it's not free if you don't buy the battle pass, but you know what I mean?
