For the global release of Dune Part 2 coming throughout the season throughout the season in terms of multiplayer, War Zone, and zombies, we're going to see a handful of things here that are overall. The first half of the season is something called Horde Hunt, which is going to launch with season 2 on the 7th and go until the mid-season update on March 6th, so the entirety of the first half, but that'll be four rewards weekly based on collecting skulls and bones, for zombies, it seems, and then throughout the upcoming weeks beyond that, you'll have the year of the dragon on the 9th to the 14th.

Which is a 10-reward XP-based event; the crypted boot camp from February 14th to 28th, which is nine-reward and challenge-based. The Walking Dead fear the living event will be the 28th to the 6th that'll be 10 rewards and XP based the camo for that already leaked it's a 2D non-animated, camo of barbed wire similar to the barbed wire of Lucille from The Walking Dead and then we see more in season 2 reloaded, but those are the ones we know of leading up to that point.

We also know we'll have new weekly challenges with rewards for completing eight of those on the season, which actually looks pretty cool. But Crimson and higher will reset down to Diamond 1, and that's the highest you can end up starting. In a ranked play season, we'll see new refreshes on rewards and completion goals, but your career star rank that you started does not refresh at all, and for those interested in Modern Warfare 3 ranked, there are new placement camos for season-ending placements, so though they're not animated, at least as we know right now, they are still something to grind for if you are somebody who likes those placement rewards, which I think personally worthwhile.

And then finally, we'll see new ranks upwards of level 450. And those air quotes add five new prestiges just because you refresh with where you're at right now and 251.

Then jumping over to war zone, we know fortunes keep coming with all that comes along with it: new points of interest, updated maps, new sort of contracts for these zombie events here at this, new ways to interact with the map such as bridges and the ability to flood areas, stuff like that we saw in the trailer in detail already, just kind of breezing past that we also did learn that there is an Easter egg along with the standard gameplay as well, so whether or not it's something that is introduced, as time progresses, and as we get say that mobile point of interest at midseason.

That we don't know of or if it'll be something we can do actually at the launch, but an Easter egg coming at some point throughout the season as well as Resurgence ranked will be something that is coming to Fortune Keep as well, which I'm very much looking forward to, though admittedly I'm a little disappointed that the placement rewards here for this don't have any sort of camo; it's just.

everything to know before season 2

A lot of the basic stuff like your operators or calling cards and I think there's like a large decal or something like that for the top 250 in the real grind but I feel like if you're grinding that much you should get a camo, anyways one thing to also consider with Resurgence ranked is you do have to be level 55, to play so they're hopefully going to be trying to eliminate, the amount of cheaters though with a free-to-play mode and a ranked mode those two things usually go hand in hand but anyways rank 55, is what you need to be at minimum to play Resurgence ranked you're going to have Sr fees like normal but you're also going to have death penalty Sr so you don't want to die a ton you don't want to go guns of Blazing and put yourself into vulnerable positions because you will lose Sr every single time you die there also are single use and single earn, bonuses and challenges that will allow you to get single boosts for Sr as you go along so definitely cool but again the rewards on everything.

Not really exactly my cup of tea, so I'll be grinding just for the sake of grinding, but I wish there was a little more, and then finally, in terms of zombies, all of the content is going to be coming at mid-season: a dark ether story act or act for continuation, a new Rift, new schematics for the mags of holding, which shoots from your ammo reserve, the blood burner key, the vr11 schematic, and a new warlord.

That's all we have, which is. Well, it's a bold choice, I guess, for a zombie-themed season to not have a ton of zombie content, but beyond the content, what gameplay changes can you expect here?.

What's going to fundamentally change between War Zone multiplayer and zombies? Starting out in multiplayer, the Ninja Vest is coming, which is definitely a very important addition here, offering up the ability to eliminate footsteps, make you immune to movement reduction effects, and give you a bonus Sheran and throwing knife as well as the ability to resupply those lethals.

Every 25 seconds, just those two gameplay fundamentals. Like that, we're going to see that we don't appear to have any sort of new streaks coming this time around, so just the vest in terms of the gameplay mechanics, but in terms of fixes, we know of the storm Ender not interacting with certain streaks further fixes the xrk stalk or no stock fixes for the field of view bug within vehicles, akimbo weapons in zombies fixes for that kind of stuff, and a few other things on the war zone side of things, we know of the Precision air strike notification, coming that was seen in early gameplay from Fortune Keep, as well as a red ring on the mini map here to indicate whether or not you're in the active pinging location.

And if there's a UAV active in that area from an enemy, so just giving you a bit more insight into some stuff that can help you out in your gameplay experience, so I'm all for that, but also, we know fortunes keep bringing a couple of things alongside that in core gameplay, like the ability to flood certain areas that were shown off, but we'll have fixes for perk packages and the map distortion on Zstan.

And a few other things as well hopefully and then zombies at least detailed in the blog we don't actually know of anything coming in regards to gameplay changes so that'll be a sort of game time decision and patch notes reveal the day of but for right now I'm still not expecting a whole ton in regards to zombies other than maybe just a few fixes , for bugs you may experience, but beyond that the only other stuff you should know about the update is well update usuals, expect bugs because every single update seemingly breaks something so if you want to ass this experience, jumping in on launch might not be the best course of action might cause some extra grief I mean fingers crossed that it does not do that but we've seen more often than not that something is broken, with each update some obviously more than others season one reloaded.

But just know there are probably going to be some bugs and issues that need to be ironed out, so the first 24 to 48 hours or so you might experience that as a player. Also, lobbies are probably going to be a lot sweatier. I feel like with every single seasonal update, whether a launch or a mid-season update, everyone's jumping on trying out that new content, so it feels like matchmaking kind of kicks into overdrive.
