Did you know that in the drug dealer simulator, which is exactly what it sounds like, you can find graffiti that says the voices in my head telling me to unlive myself with someone else, helpfully adding. This is, of course, a reference to this iconic meme: Do it; just do it.

Hello, and welcome back to another episode of the article game Easter Egg.
If you do, I'll send you three French hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree. Anyway, without further delay, let's get started.
Cyberpunk 2077
Right, let's begin today's article with Cyberpunk 2077. the ability to travel at night. City's Metro was added in the latest update, and when riding the Metro, you can sit and people watch as you head to your destination.
Well, one of the scenarios that can play out when you board the Metro is this: The base will be subdivided into three areas: industrial, scientific, and residential. 10 residential so Johnny Silver Hand can be seen sitting opposite V, enjoying a sandwich, well surrounded by paper birds. This is a reference to this photo that was taken of Johnny Silveran and actor Keanu Reeves.
The picture, taken in 2010, soon became an internet meme dubbed Sad Keanu. Now, after this Easter egg, fingers crossed, we can finally put Cyberpunk 2077, and it's many, many Easter eggs to bed once, and for all.
American truck simulator
Next up is the Easter egg-packed American Truck Simulator. Now we have covered American Truck Simulator in this series before with the long-distance drive-up featured in episode 114, where we found killer reference to Free Willie, pun intended the first of today's ATS.
Easter eggs can be found halfway between Garden City and Colby. After traveling down a seemingly deserted dirt track, you will reach a yellow brick road. The road is guarded by a tin man and a scarecrow, but when you reach the end, you can find a rainbow, a tornado, and a pair of red shoes. Now, if this wasn't already obvious enough, this is a reference to The Wizard of Oz, where a teenage girl called Dorothy lived on a farm in Kansas.
A tornado strikes and lifts Dorothy's house into an unknown land, where she soon meets a scarecrow and a tin man. Dorothy also wore a pair of red shoes, which she used to get home after following the yellow brick road; it's a really cool reference. Next up is another reference to a popular movie, or at least I think it is on the historic Route 66, which you can find.
So some of the cars have eyes now. This could just be a simple visual gag, but Disney Pixar's Cars takes place on Route 66. And, of course, those cars have eyes. I mean, it might not be a reference at all and just be a couple of cars with funny eyes, but given that's the location where the movie takes place, I'm sure it's not a coincidence.
The final ATS Easter egg is, by far, the coolest. Halfway between Dodge City and Hutchinson, you can find Kent Farm exploring the farm further. You can find a tractor propped up and some interesting clothing hanging out to dry. Now, I give you guys a lot of credit when it comes to working out what things are referencing, but what do you think Kent Farm is a reference to?
Go on, take a guess. Well, if you guessed that this was a reference to Superman, then you're a certified Easter egg hunter. If you guessed anything else, well, I really don't know what to say anyway. The Superman spin-off TV show Smallville told the story of a young Clark Ken growing up in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas. The clothes on the washing line are an obvious nod to the Superman suit, and the tractor could be a nod to Clark's ongoing struggles to fix the family tractor.
Payday 3
Next up is the first in a new segment that I like to call Overused Video Game Easter Egg of the Week, where we take a look at one Easter egg that has been referenced to death in article games.
Today's overused Easter egg of the week can be found on page three of the Cook Off level. This level shows the gang. Gathering the ingredients to cook meth, so of course on the porch of the house you can find a pizza box, which is a reference to this scene from Breaking Bad. Be sure to join me next time for another overused article game Easter egg of the week.
Halo infinite
Up next is Halo Infinite. Now the forge mode in Halo Infinite allows some really creative people to come up with some absolutely insane maps in game modes, but it also allows regular players, like me, to explore maps in more detail, which makes hunting for Easter eggs that little bit easier, for example.
The House of the Reckoning map is fully explorable in Forge and is also hiding a couple of secrets. First, in the opening area of the map, you can find a door that is jammed. If you use Forge's monotor mode to fly through the door, you can find a hologram of a sandwich. Now, given that we discovered a usable melee sandwich just last month, and before that, we found a giant sand sandwich in Infinite's campaign.
I'm wondering if the Halo Infinite developers are just really hungry. The other Easter egg found on this map is also a hologram. After passing through another broken door, you can find a hologram of Master Chief enjoying some shopping now. I don't know if this is a nod to Halo Infinite's many microtransaction items, but it's funny nonetheless.
Fortnite
Next up are more Easter eggs that can be found in Chapter 5 of Fortnite. First up, if you land at this location on the map, you can find them. So hiding under the bridge is a teddy bear, enjoying the view.
The other Fortnite Easter egg could be a contender for the overused article game Easter egg of the week, but I don't think it's reached that level just yet. At the end of the maze, you can find a fancy-looking hotel with a hedge maze. Now, if you somehow manage to get lost in a maze this small, then you're a certain kind of special, but at the end of the maze, you can find.
So at the end of the maze, you can find a statue and an axe. This is almost certainly a family-friendly reference to The Shining, where Jack Torrance gets lost in a hedge Maze and is frozen Sol with his axe right.
Call of duty modern warfare 3
Let's end today's article with Modern Warfare 3 zombie mode. Now the zombie mode in MW3 is, let's say, different. You see, gone is the wave-based gameplay that made the mode so popular, and instead you're now dropped into a war zone like a map, with loot being the name of the game.
So is this mode bad? No is it better than traditional zombies? I also know, but I don't mind the Call of Duty developers trying something new every now and again. Easter eggs have always been a big part of the zombie experience, and even though a lot has changed this year, the Easter eggs are still here.
