News - This Update Will Blow Your Mind If It. S True. Warzone 2 Blackout & Verdansk Remastered
I want to see how that map would perform for that. The battle of Community Call of Duty is specifically when it's free to play and maybe allows for cross-play, whereas Blackout in 2018 and 2019 did not offer those things, so I think it was always held back to begin with, and it's just ironic that the people that compare Warzone and Blackout only talk about gameplay and movement but don't take into account that Blackout was never free to play, didn't offer cross-play, and didn't really get much support after, what, half of Black Ops 4's lifecycle?
I still got some cool updates, but not nearly as many as it was getting when it first came out. I don't think it was ever really fair to compare blackout in Warzone, but you might call me a Black Ops fanboy for saying that I do love Warzone. I really do, but I would love to see at least how the blackout map and that layout would play out on the new iW9.
The engine that Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 currently use I'm always open to that idea, and I think, you know, considering how much fun we had covering Blackout a couple of years ago. I would love to revisit that game yet again on the brand new engine. Now, to be honest with you, I do think if the Blackout map were to return at any point in Warzone 2's application, that should probably be during the next Black Ops game's life cycle.
Maybe the next Black Ops game comes out, and then there's a new War Zone 2 map that fits whatever the environment and theme of that Black Ops game are; it'll be like the AL-Mazda for that game's launch for that game's season one, but then maybe during season three or four they bring Blackout back in its full glory.
Wars on Two's app to really show people out there how special Blackout really was and how it was ahead of its time but was just held back by something as simple as no cross-play or not being free to play for that long, so maybe that's a better idea instead of doing that during Modern Warfare's life cycle or even in 2023.
However, if you look at the fact that 2023 is the 20-year anniversary of Call of Duty and we still don't know what game is actually coming out for fall 2023, maybe to celebrate the legacy of COD, they bring back multiplayer. Full of remastered maps that are from a catalog of treyarchs, the chamber Infinity War games not only have a spin-off campaign surrounding them, the Ghost not only do they have maybe even a zombies mode but they might even bring back the blackout map to launch with that game now.
I know you're probably thinking that since Fortunes Keep isn't a big map, that's probably why it's not listed here, in the survey, so I do understand that, but what I do want to say is that hopefully, when it comes to the next big war zone map, they don't fall to the same level that multiplayer has kind of fallen to over the last few years where they say, "Okay, people would probably play the game more if it's a remaster, not a new map, therefore let's put out more." I hope Warzone never goes down that path because, although people probably prefer the original over the ends or the blackout map right now, it's always great to see something fresh, something brand new that we haven't seen before.
Look at season one of Modern Warfare 2 for example, just getting shipment in shoes House people out there are really beginning to just express that fatigue online; they were for many years, but I think this year, especially considering multiplayer didn't get any new maps in season one, people are fed up with that, so I don't think it's the best idea for Warzone to also go down that path and be like, Yeah.
But that is about it; this has been DK. I wonder what their safety net or their plans B, C, and D are for the future of this battle royale. I really hope you've enjoyed it, and peace out
