News - The Ftac Recon Kind Of Sucks - Warzone 2 Battle Rifle Review
Speaking of how the weapon should be used, here are a couple of builds you can try out at home if you're interested. So for this build, this is just a run-of-the-mill, making up for some of the shortcomings while not slowing it down terribly. the FSS OLED laser, just an optic of your choice. High-velocity ammunition: the F-TAC Ripper 56 under the barrel and the BVM 338 at the muzzle.
Break now This works really well for just keeping your shots on target, staying consistent, snappy, and tracking moving targets at a range because, again, the muzzle velocity on this thing isn't amazing for what it is, and then this next one is one I've just had a lot of personal fun with, so I thought I'd share it.
So again, the optic of your choice, and then the FSS OLED laser, the 419 millimeter, XF. Barrels the ex-barrel of the Talon 16 suppressor and overpressurized rounds, so you're causing more Flinch to the targets you're hitting, and I found that using this weapon methodically and posting up sort of like baiting people with the visible laser from the FSS worked.
Just two-tapping them as fast as I could in mid-range just worked out great; it killed them very quickly, and it threw off a lot of snipers and other marksmen rifles because, when you use those over-pressurized rounds, it really messes with people that are using precision weapons, so this was an awesome counter-sniper tool and a really good choke point lockdown tool.
I enjoyed the hell out of using this version of the weapon again. This weapon is high risk, high reward, and I do like to complain about it because I don't think it's very versatile. I don't think it fits in with the meta very well. It is good at laying somebody out pretty damn effectively. I just don't think the weapons are that versatile, and I don't think you're going to be able to make all of them work, so because it gets so niche, just trying to make this weapon work becomes so niche that even a build like this that is actually quite effective, surprisingly effective, isn't something I'm going to recommend in a review because, well, it's the F-Tech Recon, and my end-all statement on the F-Tech Recon is that it's a fussy shit.
