News - The Best Gun Every Weapon Category Warzone

Intro

Intro

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back for another article with your favorite weapon tester, Blinkin. That's me i appreciate you all for being here. That is Wall-E upstairs barking. In today's article, I bring you my top weapon in every single weapon category in the war zone. So I did the same article a few weeks ago for multiplayer, and we're doing the same thing now that we've had some time to play War Zone.

There's been a release of an update, some patches, and some weapon balancing. I'm going to go through every weapon category and determine what I think is my top weapon in each one of those categories. I'm going to keep this intro as brief as possible. Obviously, if you're familiar with my content, you know how much weapon testing I do and how much time I spend in the lab, which is the gun range, testing different attachments, and testing different iterations of builds.

I do a lot of it, so I'm going to keep the intro brief. I'm going to keep the explanations fairly brief. Trust me, try my builds. Take my builds and twist them in your own special way.

Ar

Ar

So the first weapon category that we're going to start with is ARs, or assault rifles. Now there's been a lot of questions about ARS in war zones; obviously, they're not that viable outside of DG 56. The burst weapon that we used before the update in season 1 a lot of people were using that it was definitely in the meta conversation; however, that's since been nerfed, and they did put a pretty sizable Nerf on it, so I do think that it's not as viable as it was in the first part of season 1, and really, nobody's been rocking any.

ARS, now my favorite AR is actually this SVA, 545, and when it comes to ARS the ttk on pretty much all the ARs are not that great, so it comes down to what is the best, recoil, weapon, and that's definitely the SVA 545, and this build in particular, is extremely easy to control; hardly any recoil; all it is straight.

Down. I'm used to controlling, you know, the bass B, which is much more difficult to control, so I'm really not used to this recoil pattern. I almost find myself pulling down too much on it, but again, the TTK is not as competitive as some of the other options that we have. However, the build that I've been rocking for this would be the Spitfire suppressor, as I rock on most of my longrange weapons, the STV Precision Barrel.

Coro Eagle ey 2.5x, the 60-round mag, and the main V6. Stock.

Smg

Smg

Next, we're going to get into the SMGs, so there's pretty much three SMGs that I personally think are primarily viable, with a few exceptions in season 1. Now the WSP Swarm and the striker are probably the most talked about, but in my opinion, I do think that the WSP Swarm is the best SMG. I personally enjoy rocking the striker just because it has a good feel to it.

There's very little recoil, and there's good mobility. However, the swarm has a better ttk, the swarm has better mobility, and if you can control the recoil with its fire rate, you're going to melt people up close with the swarm. Now, there's an honorable mention in there, which is the W USP 9, which is not talked about all that much.

It has a little bit of a slower fire rate, but it definitely has better range than the swarm. However, the WSP 9 has an open bolt delay, which kind of holds it back a little bit, but it's definitely still a viable option within the meta, and then there's one MW2 gun, which is the ISO 9mm, statistically, and I just recently posted about this in short form.

Statistically, it is the best SM SMG in the game. However, nobody wants to use two MW guns. There's really no drawback to the ISO 9mm; there's a little bit of vertical recoil, and it has an extremely fast fire rate. I would say the mobility is a little bit better on some of the MW3 weapons, and I just enjoy the Swarm and the striker better, so for my build for the Swarm.

I'm rocking the WSP infiltrator Barrel, the DR6 hand stop under barrel, and in the next couple of days I'm going to be releasing a article showing what I think might be a better under Barrel to run on the Swarm, but I haven't fully tested it yet, rocking the 50-round mag The Marauder grip and the FSS Fortress are heavy.

Lmg

Lmg

Stock is now getting into the lmgs, and what I personally think right now is the one absolute meta for war zone right now, and that is the pmot, the PKM, which is better known as in Modern Warfare 2019. For this build, I'm rocking the Spitfire suppressor. I do have the Jack and Eyat Bullpup kit, the conversion kit on this just for insane mobility for an lmg, then I run the Jack Annihilator long barrel Coro Eagle eye 2.5x optic and the command D15 recoil stock.

This thing is incredible for an LMG. Now I will say the only drawback to the lmg is obviously that it's a belt-fed MAG or box, whatever you want to call it. I mean, you're moving around with this lmg, with pretty much AR and mobility, and you have 100 rounds in the mag, and obviously, as you can see here, there's almost no recoil on it.

I'm barely controlling it using the PKM. The pmot it's, it's absolutely meta; it's insane. I love it; we're rocking it every night when we play War Zone, and you should be rocking it too, for sure, now getting into the battle rifles, and this is where I might stir up some controversy because, obviously, the bass is a very solid option.

Battle rifle

Battle rifle

It was definitely meta before the Nerf in season 1, and a lot of people were using it.

A lot of people are still using it within the meta. However, I personally think that there is a better option out there, and that is this MTZ. 762, with the caveat that you need to run it in single fire. Now, if you don't like single fire, obviously you should be running the bass. I think the bassb is a better option, but this single fire build takes five bullets to down, at most ranges, five chest shots to down, and being single fire, it pretty much negates the recoil, so there's not a whole lot of recoil to deal with since you're firing it in single fire.

You can hit head shots like crazy with this, and yes, it has a 30-round mag, but again, it's single fire, so you're not you know you're not going through ammo as fast as you would be if you were in full auto like that. I think that the MTZ 762 is not talked about that much. I have posted articles on it.

best

It does have the fastest TTK of all the long-range options within the war zone right now. By far, the single-fire version of this is night and day faster than every other option there, so if you can get used to this, you can get good with it. You know it's got a very good fire rate. Obviously, I can fire this thing pretty much as fast as I can shoot in full auto.
