News - The 18. Warzone 2 Season 2 Rewards, Camo Mixing & New Event Gameplay. Free Content Updates
I made a separate article going over all the brand new information Activision even provided detonated with in regards to exactly how spmm truly works for the Call of Duty franchise that's only in regards to multiplayer though not war zone or ranked hopefully that is very clear and as a big reminder we had an amazing episode of the Bomb Show podcast last Friday with a cool guest jod, had quite a bit to get through we'll have even more to talk about later this week once we officially get our reveal of season 2 now with that there's a bunch that I do want to get through before we get our official season 2 reveal which may be tomorrow featuring a blog post the road map There are still some good amounts of information that I wanted to cover for you guys here tonight to get you guys prepared.
Free bundle & blueprints in mw3!
First off, there is a free bundle that you guys may have missed that came out a couple of days ago if you guys have a Prime Gaming subscription, so you'll go ahead and get the Raceway 2080 bundle feat. two blueprints; we got one for the Fenic and one for the SPX 80, as well as a loading screen emblem decal.
And that is just about it. As a reminder, there isn't a way right now for you to get reimbursed if you already bought this bundle and also have a Prime Gaming subscription. It's very random every single season as to which bundle is going to be released for free. If you have Prime Gaming, I know people get frustrated with that one, but there's still free content for those out there who may not have bought this bundle when it originally came out.
Unreleased bundle dates for season 1?
Now, as far as some upcoming bundles, as of now, in terms of now in terms of release dates, they don't provide us with any official release dates anymore in the Cod Blog. The usual leakers can't find the release dates in the files anymore either, so it's kind of a big guessing game, but we do have some cool guesstimates that were posted online for those out there wondering.
When certain bundles are going to come out, people speculate that on February 2nd we're supposed to be getting the clear cut pack or even the Moon Tracer pack. It's unclear which one—maybe both. I mean, it's kind of up in the air, but the usual leakers. I have made guesstimates on Twitter, and like I said before, take all that with a grain of salt. February 4th there's a theory that the Star Force Tracer pack is coming out then February 6th, the sketched out Tracer pack which I think looks really damn cool we have a cell shaded operator skin as a part of that bundle, but for those wondering what's going on with the release date for the hearts of ice pack featuring the deer bot operator, that's a skin that has been marketed quite a bit since some initial season 1 marketing many months ago that skin does not have a release date there's not even a guesstimate for that one but as a reminder season 2 does go live February 7th, so it just has to release before that day unless it does get pushed back until the next season of course but something that got reported on the other day which kind of got swept under the rug A little bit is more in regards to a Warhammer collaboration that is coming to Modern Warfare 3 at some point in the future footage.
First look: war hammer mw3 gameplay
This surface of what looks like the servo skull finishing move is clearly unfinished. But the usual hackers forced this into their games. You can get a full preview of this finishing move, which again is clearly tied to Warhammer. I'm not too familiar with the IP, but yeah, apparently we're going to have some operator bundles featuring finishing moves and probably even an in-game bonus event featuring some free cosmetics and some other bonuses.
Camo mixing finally releasing soon.?
So I will keep you guys posted on how the Warhammer collab is going to work but considering how much of Warhammer got added to the files recently that probably doesn't mean it's going to be a season 2 crossover event but now when it comes to what I consider breaking news since nobody out there's really been talking about this I haven't seen a single tweet or even a article or anything from any content creator this is something that is a major followup to what got revealed prematurely, last year prior to the launch of Modern Warfare 2 that never got followed up on again and that is the idea of camo mixing the ability to go ahead and mix and match Mastery camos you already unlocked, and apply that to the same weapon so images This screenshot of what looks like camo mixing coming into Modern Warfare 3 The usual leakers posted some pretty clear images online of what look like different parts of a weapon with different mastery camels on them.
We could see Orion, and you can see Interstellar. You can see Borealis; you could see. I think, what looks like Platinum; I mean, you could definitely see multiple Mastery camos on a single weapon, which of course could be tied to scrapped content or a canceled feature. I mean, take all rumors with a grain of salt, like I always say, but it does look like something to do with camo mixing still exists and may be coming to both MW2 and MW3 weapons.
If I had to guess, this will probably be given out to folks that have completed all Mastery camel grinds, or it'll just be a feature that we can all use exclusively inside of Modern Warfare 3, not backwards in Modern Warfare 2, though I will keep you guys updated with any new information that is shared about when this feature is coming if it does.
I remember Sledgehammer mentioning this in a recent Creator call a couple of months back, where they went ahead and said that they weren't exactly working on an additional Mastery camel grind or a cool feature where you can mix and match, but they would keep an open mind to it, so maybe this is what's going on.
It still makes no sense as to why this was prematurely revealed in a blog post prior to the release of Modern Warfare 2. Maybe it was planned for that game but got shelved, and who knows what happened after that.
18+ new camos revealed early for mw3
What's also really interesting is that there's a number of camels that got leaked out prior to the release of season 1 reloaded, and I've talked about these camels a little bit before I'll name them off again and show some footage on screen of what they look like.
We have blue Abyssal Windfall, which is animated Hard Target neon. Royal Forest Gloom Blue Tiki, flying high velvet, ductile plates, and then we got a glimpse, starting with Reloaded, of what looks like a Luc Seal Walking Dead theme camo or something, and there's also a camo called Aeric. I probably said that wrong, but there's a number of camos that are probably tied to some in-game challenge events, whether they're XP-focused ones or just random camos to drop with weekly updates.
