This is just to prove that I know what I'm doing when I'm playing article games, and more specifically when I'm playing Call of Duty, so I'm going to be putting a few things up on screen right now so you guys can kind of understand where I fall in the skill-based matchmaking bracket. So first off, we're going to go with the Last Call of Duty game that I put any sort of time into, and this is going to shock some people, but Call of Duty Vanguard, so I'm going to put my Cod Vanguard stats up on screen right now, and if you look at the picture.

I was level 77. Prestige 15 I was in the top 10%. I had 111 hours of play time on almost 1100 matches in this game, and my kill-to-death ratio was 3.16. This is actually an elim to death ratio, so it takes assists and accounts for all of that, so it might in reality be a bit lower, so I probably would be like a 2.5–2.8 player if elims didn't count, but this still puts me at number 20, 32, 4th out of all the players that have public profiles, and that puts me in the top 2.8%.

Of all the players now, I'm not in the top 1%. I'm not a pro player, and like I said, this isn't to flex my stats, but I have some pretty decent statistics. If we also go over to my aim Labs ranks online, if you know anything about aim trainers. I have a ranking system, basically grandm is the highest rank you can get to the second highest is master, and then it goes from like Ruby Emerald Gold Silver Bronze all the way down right, so you can look up the am Labs ranks online if you want to, but for this season in a Labs.

I am Master 2. I'm Master 4 in flicking. Grandmas, 3 in tracking, and I am Master 2 in switching, so when it comes to aim trainers. I have some pretty nasty aim I'm on to keep the keyboard and mouse I am a self-proclaimed sweat, and I really don't like skill-based matchmaking, but I'm also a sweaty player, so I can't really talk too much when it comes to that.

But where it does affect people is whenever I, as a content creator, try to get together with some of my subscribers and play some games.

Now, like I've said. I don't want to come off as an amazing pro player, but I'm slightly better than some of the people in my Discord and some of the people that I play with, and I'm better than a lot of people in my Discord. Now, like I said, this isn't to flex on my stats; this isn't to make anybody who played with me over the weekend feel bad.

This is just to prove a point: when you have two people with varying skill levels, you have somebody who's a high-skilled player, and then you have someone who's an average or above-average player. Even if you're above average and you're playing with someone who is a highly skilled player, it makes it almost impossible for them to play with you like I had: subs, people that were in my Discord, people that met me off YouTube that have me on, you know, text.

activision sucks

Some people you know can text my real number and stuff. I've given my phone number out to people, and they literally are texting me like, Yo, Dev, you want to hop on the MW3, beta, you want to play yada ya, and I'm like, Sure, let's play. They get one or two matches with me, and they're tapped out; they're like, I don't know how you do this.

Like I'm talking, I'm going like 26 and 3, and I have people on my team going 4 and 28. Like it's just so bad, and with me. I know I get put into Shadow brand brackets all the time I'm playing against cheaters. I'm playing against the sweatiest of the sweats. I'm playing against full six-man stacks, and this game right here is going to be DOA.

In a month, if this skill-based, matchmaking, atrocious, terrible algorithm is not removed from this game, and for the sake of Modern Warfare 3, for the sake of what is at its core a solid Call of Duty game. I would hate to see this game absolutely ruined by atrocious, egregious, skill-based matchmaking, and eomm, and it's starting to look like that's the path we're running down with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
