I will not lie; I was not expecting to be talking about what we are talking about here today, but as I'm sure you can tell from the title and the thumbnail, we've got some very, very spicy new leaks for Modern Warfare 2 and War Zone 2. That is very early, I would say, and of course, coming up here in just over a week's time on December 14th, we've got season one reloaded.

The mid-season update for MW2: War Zone 2 and DMZ is going to have content in and of itself and be full of new updates and changes. all sorts of stuff like that. The next major update that we know of after that is season two, and today we actually got our very first season two leaks to dive into, and this is all via Ralph's valve.

We've talked about Ralph many times here on the channel in the past. He's established a pretty credible track record over the years talking about various insider information, leaks, and rumors that have come to fruition over the course of time, and he actually today posted a brand new article on {3} talking about the season 2 art reveal and some of the content we can expect within the season itself now.

Before we go and dive on into this article, let's look at the general time frame here because, like I said, these leaks are pretty early in the grand scheme of things, so on the 14th of December, just over a week from now, season one reloaded will drop. They're probably going to be around for maybe a week after that, and then, you know, come the 20th, the developers are probably going to be out until the end of the year.

Then, after New Year's, they'll be back, and they'll be full steam ahead, focusing on new updates, new fixes, and new content for all major titles right now. war zone 2 (MW2). DMZ, however, according to the battle pass countdown timer in game right now, season one is said to end at the very end of January, the start of February, so in theory, pending any potential delays, season two is going to start on February 1st, so we're going to have a major gap there where we don't really know what exactly is going on, and we'll talk more on sort of my concerns for that time period and whatnot a bit later on into the article, but let's dive into this new reveal from Ralph.

He says in this article that, starting in the month of February, season two for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will deliver all new offerings to players. Ushering in new cosmetics and kicking off the new content year. Modern Warfare 2 appears to be harboring back to the Classics for season two, welcoming back the world of War's favored castle, multiplayer, and map alongside the return of Warcom operator Ronin, featured in Modern Warfare.

That's the face of Modern Warfare 2's expected season two content right there. Castle from "World at War," a Treyarch game, appears to be returning here in Modern Warfare 2. Now again, keep in mind that, as always, things are subject to change when it comes to leaks. This stuff could end up not coming to fruition.

It very well could end up coming to fruition. The different images that Ralph actually has in this article do depict Castle, and they do depict Ronin alongside a few other operators as well. Unfortunately, I can't show any of them on screen. They are available in the What If {3} article, though, so if you want to go check that out, you know, feel free to do so.

They look real, but there are also very talented artists out there. They could be fakes; you never know, but you know they do actually depict the things that Ralph is talking about here. It's interesting if Castle is In fact, returning as a multiplayer map one of the new maps that we'd get in Season Two, we'd probably get you know two or three per usual there because, like I said, it's a Treyarch map, and also we've never had it in Vanguard last year as a multiplayer map as well, so they could be reusing this again now that we've never had it in a Modern Warfare game, so maybe it'd play a bit different.

Maybe they'd design things and, you know, open up various routes or close off certain things; we'd have to wait and see, but that in and of itself could be very interesting. Ronin, also returning as an operator, is definitely very cool. Of course, Ronan was featured back in Modern Warfare 2019, and Ronin, himself, is of course based off of Tulum.

Hopefully I'm pronouncing his name right. He's a part of Ronin Tactics; really cool stuff there, honestly, and I thought he was a really cool operator back in MW 2019, so to see him return here would definitely be very cool. Ralph. Do you know how to wrap up this blog by saying there's not an awful lot known in regards to season two and all the expectations there, but of course we know we're going to get new reveals here heading on into 2023?

The weird ␜gap␝ between season 1 reloaded & season 2

As mentioned above, season one was reloaded on December 14th, and the launch of season 2 was on February 1st. There's a pretty decent gap there that we really don't know all that much about. Cheval: chevalmap we know that with the initial season one roadmap right now, we have a few of the content items confirmed already, and that's our main roadmap for the season, featuring The Chimera, raids, or other operators in Klaus and Gaz, of course.

Outside of that, you know, there's not a whole lot of content to go from the 14th of December to February 1st, you know, a month and a half there where it's just a big question mark, so perhaps with the reveal of season one reloaded we get a more expanded, actual road map that, you know, has some surprise content in there.

Maybe some holiday updates or some other stuff that could potentially drop in, you know, mid-January. But as of right now, we're just not sure on that. War Zone 2, and DMZ. Yes, the Season One Reloaded update is going to include a ton of patch notes, including weapon changes and game fixes, stability updates, content, and all sorts of stuff like that.
