Welcome back to a brand new article today. What I have for you guys is that we're going to go over and talk about the new Gly Camo changes that were made during the Haunting update. It seems like they actually nerfed it and sort of ruined it, according to many players, which is what we're going to discuss.
We also have other topics that I definitely think you need to know about. There's also a free pack that you can get right now, and so much more. I did upload a article earlier today going over the brand new updates that we're going to receive tomorrow, the one on Tuesday. Make sure you guys check it out.
Anyway, let's go ahead and get into it.
New update patch notes
So yesterday Call of Duty did an update to Massive Resurgence, where they lowered it from 150 players down to 100. I did cover this in the article I uploaded earlier, but they ended up replying and answering why they ended up making these changes, and they said we received feedback that with all the haunting activities in the mix.
Massive Resurgence felt way too chaotic. To alleviate this, we've temporarily reduced the player count from 150 to 100. This lower player count retains the welcome excitement of massive resurgence but provides a bit more breathing room for players to experience the haunting bosses and everything that the event has Please note that this adjustment will only remain active for The Haunting, and it will return to the normal player count once the haunting event ends.
New store update & free bundle pack
This update comes just to make it a little bit easier to defeat the bosses because the hardest part about beating these bosses is not the actual health or the bosses themselves, but the other players partying and coming in and pretty much ruining the whole event other than that. We also got a store update today, and this brought in the paranormal, investigators, and operator bundle.
This is just a quick showcase of what this bundle has to offer. You can expect that there will be another store update going live tomorrow. This is going to bring in Pumpkin Pro Pack Number 9, so if you are running short on COD points. I wouldn't recommend you buy the COD points directly and wait for this pro pack to come out because this is going to include the brand new Carver operator, skin there's going to be two weapons that are going to have Tracer effects on them which I believe is the first time a pro pack has ever had this and then on top of that there's going to be the 2400 COD points that the pro pack will have if you are debating on purchasing any of these bundles.
Make sure that you get this pro pack first because you'll get those Cod points and you'll have this Carver operator skin on top of that, but other than that, there's actually something that's free in the store that you can get right now, so this is a gift pack that adds four different rewards, which is the screen time emblem.
There's also another emblem called the ghost king, and then there's a calling card called the And subscribe, which is something you should also do on this article, and then the last thing we have is going to be called the fit for a ghost calling card, which is going to be a free pack that you can claim right now, and the interesting thing is that this was actually a PlayStation.

And other camos that we've seen in the past where it would require a lot of work and grinding in order to get something this nice, but when The Haunting update went live, shout out to sup silly for this clip, they actually ended up changing it to where they removed the glow completely from this weapon camo; it also altered the colors of them, so rather than having that majority, pinkish color, it now has a green color to it, it has a purple color to it, and then the pink is still there, just a little bit, and then it seems like the brightness of these colors.
Has been reduced, as well, and then something that I sort of noticed is the animation, speed, has been slightly reduced, as well, so they're making it so it doesn't stand out all too much, but at the same time. I guess they kept it to where it's the still-ghouly camo that we are expecting to see now.
There are a couple potential reasons why they made this change in the first place: One of the first major ones being the fact that this camo is way too bright, and in Modern Warfare 2's system of how the brightness works, if you look at it in the pregame lobby or you look at it in a particular area, it may not seem as bright, but then when you go towards a darker area of the map, depending on the mode or the location, the camo will suddenly get super bright, and you can see this from the new camo here.
This clip you're watching is not edited; there's no color correction to it; there's no Photoshop or any sort of editing; and there's no unlock tool involved. This is the regular new camo that you can get right now, and if you unlock that camo, this is how bright it will actually turn out to be when you use it in some of the maps or matches that you play.
It seems like maybe that's one of the reasons why they did that, but that doesn't also explain why they sort of slowed down the animation speed or made it a little bit more dull overall. Another reason might be because it's not that difficult to unlock; they don't want it to look too insane. Obviously, having a Ryan Camo takes countless hours; it's not as bright; it's not as animated.
And it doesn't look as good as this camo, which is going to be free to unlock during a haunting event, but would it make sense for Call of Duty to have a camo that's completely free for anyone to unlock to look better than the Mastery camo that's supposed to be the best camo in the game? But who knows what their thoughts and ideas are?
Do you think that this camo should have been updated? Do you think it looks better this way? Do you think they completely ruined it? Or do you still think it is a camo worth grinding and unlocking? Regardless, this camo is going to be free to unlock during the Soul Capture event. You're going to need around 1, 000 souls, and so you can collect that starting right now, and then once it does drop on Tuesday, you'll be able to cash that in and be able to get this camo, and you can do this in either War Zone DMZ or multiplayer.
The only place you can back out is multiplayer, so once you jump in and get enough, you can quickly leave the lobby and keep doing it. It shouldn't be that difficult to get 1, 000 souls from now all the way up until Tuesday.

But going on to the next topic that we have, it seems like Call of Duty is doing a potential crossover with Crun Roll. It says Call of Duty and Crunch Roll are coming in with a collaboration, and this partnership will be released in MW3.
