News - Early Look: The Future Of Warzone 2 Zombies. Season 3 Content Preview
I'm not too confident we'll get any other surprises, really, for MWZ. But if anything else does get announced that we didn't know about, I'll make a follow-up zombie article to this one, and I make a zombie article at least once every week and a half. If there's something going on, you guys know the vibe if you've been on the channel for a while, but we already know what's coming to season 2 reloaded.
How this zombies event could␙ve been done better
But what about beyond that? We actually know a decent amount of information about what could be coming in season 3 and to kind of close out MW 3's life cycle, so we're going to break all that down here in this article now, real quickly.
I do want to mention that the hord hunt zombies focused event could have been done a little bit better. A lot of those free acquisitions that you were able to get, because it was a bit silly that within the first week of the event being out or even sooner, you guys probably already maxed out all your skulls to get those free acquisitions, and then you were just waiting for the update every Wednesday to then get the new HBT skulls. But beyond that, you were pretty much done with the event for quite some time, so maybe that's a way they could improve on an event like this or some event that's structured this way in the future, of course, but with that being said on.
Updates that could␙ve changed everything for mwz
March 6th, with the launcher reloaded, that'll be our first zombies update in about 49 days.
Obviously, we're getting a new dark ether Rift, which is taking us to another part of Al Masra, which is the Sayed shopping mall. We're also going to see the car's warlord, three new schematics upon entering that Rift, and then, of course, an act. Mission introduces us to that new dark ether environment, so that's what we know so far, but there's actually a lot more that's coming, and the thing is, as we put over on detonated, there's actually a way to quote, unquote, and fix zombies in nearly just one update, and that's to add in DMZ upgrades.
Now, these could allow us to grind useful upgrades like a stash expansion and buy station discounts—things that could really change the game altogether. I love the way the DMZ did it, which was during MWW's live cycle, where it was like every other update: we got this big overhaul and big content drop featuring New Q updates.
QALL, of course, stands for quality of life, and then the updates in between were added to new exclusion zones and new maps entirely. I wish zombies would have been handled that way; I really do, and while there aren't any DMZ-like upgrades that are necessarily confirmed for zombies, there are a few things that I think derive from DMZ, which may be coming at some point.
Huge content leaked but is it all cancelled??
I talked about some of these things in a previous zombie article, but for those that missed out, there's a bunch of different systems and features that may be cancelled but could still be on the way.
It's kind of a coin toss at this point if we're going to see some of these pieces of content in MWZ. But things like a dead-drop Locker Xville balloon, a citadel—whatever that means—a portable buy station, a weapons trade station, a decontamination station, black sites, and even ATMs—all the data was mined by the usual leakers for MW3 zombies.
Of course, these could be things left over from war zone DMZ or canceled concepts entirely. Maybe these features aren't coming to the game, but could you imagine if season 2 would have dropped with or a future season could drop with just a whole list of quality of life updates that just really improves the pacing of the game?
That alone would be a solid update that keeps people going until the next major content drop with an actual new map, an actual new quest, or an act?
These two features may be closer than we think
Mission stuff like that would be fantastic, and obviously leaked images did surface of what appears to be a wallet system and even containment levels, which are essentially Xville streaks, that also really enhance gameplay and boost replayability, giving you another reason to just hop onto the game.
I haven't really played MW3 zombies in a while; while I mean. I hopped on just to get some Boll for this article and for some future ones, other than that, there's been no reason to really hop into MWZ as of lately, but I'm happy to jump back into it with the launch of season 2 reloaded to grind out all the new content.
But I think they would have just dropped the wallet and the Xville system. At the beginning of season 2, it would have given us a reason to stash up some cash or to do a bunch of contracts in Xville to gain some extra bonuses for use in all future matches. That would have been a lot of replayability, just to keep us waiting until March 6th.
I would have been a big fan of that, but maybe these features are being worked on right now by the studio that has been handed MWZ, which I believe is High Moon, or maybe a department of Infinity Ward. While those departments or studios might be working on MWZ now, they might have needed more time to adjust and just get into the role of focusing on MWZ for the rest of the year, while Treyarch had to go hands-on with Black Ops 2024.
Maybe they needed more time to just get used to what they had to do and needed to reload to really get things off the ground. Now before we continue, I just wanted to remind you about Mitch {582}, where you can get AIST grinding camos nukes or schematics in MW3. These guys do not use unlock tools or any banable methods and will actually help you play the game.
Mitch Cactus is also supported by Trustpilot, with over 10,000 positive reviews.
Season 3 dlc & surprises previewed early.
You can use C Dynamite for a limited time to save 5% off your order, but Beyond that, there's even additional pieces of content that you guys may not have known about, which include a new story. Quest, another dark ether Rift, probably somewhere in Al Mazra, and a new boss called the champion.
I'm not saying this is the champion from Nine from Bo4, but hey, maybe it's something that bled out of the dark ether. Who knows, there's also new object attributes. We have to essentially cleanse some artifacts that'll give players new abilities like extra speed and being able to do extra zombie damage.
Special Vision There are a lot of interesting pieces of content here, and apparently there is an act of mission that is focused on Ava. There are a lot of things that sound really interesting but have apparently been leaked out as season 3. Reloaded content right season, 3.5, Which wouldn't be seen in the game until I want to say May.
