Leaked footage of bunker buster streak
Which I'm really happy about and we'll get back to some changes in a second because I want to bring up something in regards to the zombies updates on Fortune keep but remember the bunker Buster streak that also got confirmed in the blog post well there's some gameplay going around of what that also looks like when I was in the season 2 creater call a couple of weeks ago, the developers over at Raven did show us footage of the streak itself being used in a match of War Zone but that footage hasn't been posted publicly just yet however the usual leakers on Twitter did post their own early gameplay of it and it does look like the streak itself is pretty straightforward, you just Target a build buing or wherever you want and a big strike will just blast onto that radius.
But if somebody's in a building there'll be bu of gased emits from the explosion, so it'll encourage people to get out of buildings especially during late gamees so I think it's a pretty cool way for them to counter camping to make sure that map flow and engagement is as action-packed as possible no matter what point of the match that you're in so I'm looking forward to how the streaks going to play out but one of the leakers on Twitter did also mention that if this does come to multiplayer which I feel like it probably will it'll apparently cost seven kills to unlock, and it's unclear what the score equivalent will be if you switch the score streaks, but this is a whole new kill streak entirely and I wouldn't be shocked if it does come to MP but at the very least you're going to be seeing this in ground Loot on.
Zombies content in wz getting removed
I believe all war zone maps are in the game right now, but What I wanted to also mention was that in regards to the zombie updates we have on Fortune Keep, we obviously have the eradication and contract, which I'm actually a big fan of. It's a lot of fun to complete. And with the Horde Hun event that's currently live, what they did was give us a random chance of seeing one of the random hpts, whether it's an armored ibie, a hellhound, or a mimic, and I'm wondering if that contract is really going to be removed from fortunes even after the Horde Hun event ends on what is that going to be March 6th with the launcher reloaded.
I'm kind of going to be sad about that because one of my favorite contracts to do in fortunes keeps right now. I would have rather preferred if maybe they would keep the contract in, but maybe they are going to do that even without the Hordon event being live anymore. But when it comes to power-ups, those are obviously going to be removed from the loot chest.
As of now, they're also live in the Battle Royale preview if you want to go ahead and grab some of those on Zstan. So that's already confirmed to be removed on March 6th, but I get powerups being taken away, but when it comes to the eradication contract.
New weapon case in s2 reloaded?
I hope they keep that one, but speaking of the Ble Royale preview, the weapon case is live again right now in Ekhan, with the same set of rewards that got revealed a couple of weeks ago that was confirmed to be an update for season one reloaded way back when, and I got pushed to the very last week of season 1.
I'm wondering if season 2 Reloaded is also going to offer a new weapon case, but maybe not for Ukan. For maybe fortune's sake, maybe we'll get one for rebirth during the next season. I think it's an awesome way to let the spirit of DMZ live on, giving us an opportunity to go in and do something six times to get all the rewards, whether it's an operator skin or a blueprint. Some other themes: cosmetics Let's see if a new weapon case also gets added in or gets announced at the very last minute.
Upcoming s2 reloaded reveal marketing
With that, in terms of season 2 reload marketing, we should be getting an official reveal this Wednesday or Thursday. We typically get marketing an exact week before the start of a major content update, but there's been times in the past where a reloaded update gets marketed a little bit later than expected.
But I do think they're on pace with MW3 marketing, so we should end up seeing marketing at some point this Wednesday. It should be a full blog post, maybe not a road mapap, but tons of information about stuff that we already know about and maybe even some other surprises that we didn't even expect, but that is about.
