News - Warzone: All Early Season 2 Reloaded Update Patch Notes. Gameplay Updates, New Content, More
Early look at season 2 reloaded gameplay updates & fixes!
ladies and gentlemen. In just a couple of days, we are going to see the next major update drop in War Zone in Modern Warfare 3, and this, of course, is the season 2 reloaded update or the midseason update for season 2, and this is going to be a significant one across the board. We're going to see new content drop in multiplayer.
zombies for once and War Zone as well. We're going to have some universal content in the form of some new events, new weapons, and so on and so forth, but also plenty of gameplay updates, various different gameplay fixes, and whatnot, and we actually already have a decent preview of a lot of what we're going to see in the patch notes come Wednesday.
March 6th, and so today I wanted to break down all of the early updates and early patch notes that we have as of right now.
Mw3 & warzone season 2 reloaded all general details
A quick little side note : we should be expecting a full-on reveal and announcement for season 2 reloaded. But of course, yeah. March 6th is going to be that basic launch date for season 2 reloaded, pending any major delays or anything in the upcoming couple of days, and this will be a full-on title update that everyone is going to have to go through and download, so just be prepared for that.
New weapons coming to warzone & modern warfare 3
But focusing on some quick content here first, then we'll break down some different gameplay changes that have already been confirmed in different gameplay fixes and whatnot, we do know. Season 2 Reloaded is going to include two new weapons. One's going to be available via weekly challenges, and that's going to be the SOA subverter.
There's no saying if this is going to drop you know right with the week five challenge Alles this upcoming week or if that'll be you know later on throughout the midseason. Update if they want to call it week seven, week eight, so on and so forth. We're really just going to have to wait for the blog and/or the update to go out to see that the other weapon is via the battle pass.
There is a sector there that's going to unlock with season 2 reloaded, and this is likely going to be the soul render melee the unlock for that was classified, and that's usually what they call the different battle pass sectors that are hidden until the update goes out, so we'll have both of those to go through and unlock.
New decays realm event in modern warfare iii & warzone
We also have a new event kicking off shortly after season to reload, known as Doom's Realm, and this is going to include a specific playlist for multiplayer. They say to explore the terrifying strangeness of the otherworldly map variants this midseason. mosh pits Vortex Death's realm features TDM domination kill confirmation and hardpoint rotation, with an increased map pool of various different locations.
We've got Tetanus Satan's Quarry spard, and then our two new map variants coming with season 2 reloaded. Skid Grow and then Airborne—that's a remake of Skidrow and Terminal as well. This will also bring forth a brand new in-game event to take place as well. There will be different challenges for multiplayer, Zombie War Zone, probably and likely a new ultimate universal, and Camo as well.
Season 2 reloaded zombies updates is mostly content so far
As far as zombies go, as far as what we know in terms of updates here, it's really just content based on what's been previewed so far at the start of the season, and we should get more details on all of that with the actual blog and announcement for the season to be reloaded, so we reserve the breakdowns for that later on this week when we have full-on details.
As far as you know, gameplay fixes and whatnot go into the trailer, which we'll look at here in just a bit—not really all that filled up if I had to say so myself.
New gameplay updates coming to warzone
moving on another couple of updates we have confirmed for season 2 reloaded, potential adjustments, for the different zombies powerups in Fortune's keep so this is a limited time thing there's not going to be permanent zombies powerups like the carore.
and the fire sale and double points and whatnot those are limited for now and with the end of The Horde hunt event we could potentially see those removed in general or they could be adjusted in some way shape or form as well to maybe spawn in less frequently or they might Nerf or buff some of them entirely so we'll have to wait and see for that but we could see some changes, regarding, those we also know we're going to finally see a new point of Interest update with season 2 reloaded, but it's actually not for ö stand which you might think is where it would happen instead it's going to be for fortunes keep specifically.
With the brand new research vessel, this is actually a mobile point of interest. It's going to navigate around the outside water of Fortune's Keep; it's going to anchor down in certain spots. They did detail this a little bit when I was in an early season to reveal a call with a handful of developers a couple of weeks ago, and they basically said there's going to be a buy station on this; it's going to actually have its own safe zone.
essentially so if the gas is first added in; that the research vessel's on it will have like its own little safe bubble for a certain point in time, that you can actually get to and then obviously, be out of the gas on the vessel itself which is pretty cool it will anchor down and you can Ascender, up onto it there's going to be a UAV tower on it and also High tier loot apparently, as well so could be a really cool POI and definitely will shake things up it's certainly going to be a hot Drop when it is first added in that's for sure we also have a brand new kill streak coming with season 2 reloaded.
This is the bunker buster; this is going to actually. go through buildings you can place this on you know a three-story building and players on the Second Story are going to be able to be damaged by the actual explosion of the bunker Buster but it's also going to have a gas column that comes out that also deals gas damage throughout as well so if you run into a team of campers or someone's posted up on like a strong you know a stronghold or a choke point or something you could drop one of these on it and it's going to force them to move, or they're going to be in The Spectator screen either one there so could also have a pretty big impact on gameplay, and we're going to see The Return of the portable, decontamination. station This is, of course, just setting up your own little bubble in the zone whenever you please so you can make some gas plays with that, and of course we saw that back in War Zone 1.
