Price and Garrick reteam up with Farah and Alex, and this estranged family all goes on a Merry Old Crusade into Georgia to take down Barov. The quartet splits up once they reach the facility, with Price and Garrick leading the assault to plant the explosive charges, while Farah and Alex head to intercept Barov himself.
In the ensuing fight. Alex is detonated for the charges malfunctioning, and he opts to stay behind to make sure the explosives go off in an act of self-sacrifice, which allows Farah to take her revenge in Barov and lead her people into the future. To take her revenge, she undeniably does so by stowing away on Bov's personal Chopper.
She sneaks up on the rotten warlord and puts a knife in his back, his chest, and his neck, and yeah, you get the picture with Price Garrick, and far at a safe distance, the fac facility blows Skyhigh. Bringing an end to barkov's reign of terror but before the credits roll we get a cheeky little sequence between lwell and price over a nice cup of tea and godamn that China looks fancy where'd you get that that's besides the point the actual point of this scene is to reestablish our favorite Squad 141, from the original Modern Warfare Trilogy with the reveal that Garrick actually goes by the name of Gaz alongside teasers of fan favorites John soap McTavish, and Simon ghost Riley all which will no doubt feature heavily in the campaign for Modern Warfare 2 with the credits on the campaign behind you the game kindly tells you that the story continues in Spec Ops and even offers up a handy cinematic to set the scene with the wolf dead Alcala is momentarily weak but naturally a new leader sweeps in to Hoover up that power vacuum the US and the Russians sink up to take down this new threat under a joint organization known as the Armistice.

And across a host of co-op missions set in Verdansk, they edge closer to knowing who they're dealing with. It turns out this new big bad is a lad named Khed al-Assad, who's in league with an arms dealer known as Victor Zakay.

But this is only the tip of the iceberg, lapping beneath those icy waves are six whole seasons of story content in the ever expanding war zone mode , while war zone is largely a huge multiplayer campaign it does offer up a fair few story Revelations that will naturally have a big impact on The Narrative of Modern Warfare 2 The Fragile alliance between the US and the Russians starts to fracture as zakay and Al katala turn up the heat in verdansk but don't you worry because his only bloody ghost to the rescue making his first reappearance in this rebooted franchise he contacts price to send in reinforcements that they can actually trust and lo and behold look who's back from the dead it's our old mate Alex who's, still standing. Price and Gaz themselves also end up heading to verdansk to bring down zakay but they're also joined by a private military outfit known as The Shadow company who sned in their own team led by this big lad called Marcus Lurch or Ora with the help of Farah and Nikolai price and Co eventually track zakay to a nuclear Silo where he's finally killed before price disengages a world-ending missile from launching, all in a day's work a price and War Zone wraps up its Modern Warfare storyline with soap requesting backup and with our Squadron of badasses wing suiting to his Aid, right onwards to Modern Warfare 2 which kicks off in the fictional city of al- mazra where Task Force 141 assassinates the Iranian General gobani.

We then fast forward a few months, in which time Gan's right-hand man, a lad known as Major Hassan Zani, has swooped in to take power in al-Mazra and is looking to get revenge on the Strike Team that killed his old general. To this end, he manages to get hold of a cashier of American missiles, a fact that 141 learns when ghosts and soap try and fail to apprehend him.
Captain Price and Gaz then latch onto Hassan's sent in Amsterdam, where they learn that the major has gone into hiding in Mexico with his allies, a drug cartel known as Las Almas. 141 team up with the local Mexican Special Forces led by Colonel Alejandro Vargas, and with the help of a private military company called Shadow company bit of a dodgy name more on that shortly led by Philip Graves they finally manage to capture Hassan before he can escape again only they almost immediately have to release him when it becomes apparent that they have a lack of evidence to hold against him bit of a backward step for the story but at least we got some decent action set pieces eh anyway from here the plot diverges with lazell price and Gaz heading to Spain for a spot of sniping, and to follow up on a lead that connects lass Al us with another cache of missiles things go south though and lawell is captured by our old enemies Alcala.
Prompting G and Price to launch a rescue mission in Zakhan with the help of old friends Nikolai and Farah. While all of that's going on in the Middle East, the soap teams up with Vargas to hunt down the leader of Las Alas, who goes quite theatrically by the name Elin Nbre, which quite literally translates as the nameless, and who ends up being an old colleague of Vargas.
This eventually leads them to discover that one of Las Alas and Hassan's missing missiles is a bard on an oil rig in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. They finally escape the clutches of Graves and team up with Gaz and price in order to rescue Vargas as well anyway all of this leads into the campaign's endgame which sees price confront Shephard for all his treachery before one 14 one and vargas's squad team up to take back the Mexican Special Forces base which has been taken over by Graves and Shadow company in the raid on the Mexican base Graves is seemingly killed but Hassan remains at large and is in the process of launching a missile on the Pentagon, 141 managed to nit this plan in the B while also taking out Hassan as well averting a major explosion on American soil, and with the crisis averted Modern Warfare 2's campaign comes to a close but before we dive into Spec Ops and War Zone we learned that Shephard was working with a group of Russian terrorists who are led by someone you may know from the original Modern Warfare Trilogy. Yep, the iconic villain Vladimir MacDonald makes his entry into the new rebooted franchise, and in a cheeky little mid-credit sting, we see him mutter a simple order to his troops during a plane hijacking—no Russian.

The spec ops missions of Modern Warfare 2 take us back to the middle-eastern city of al-Mazra for another strike at the heart of Alcat Sala.
