Intro
In this article, I'm going to take you through 13 tips that you just need to know for Warzone 2. To help make sure you have the best chance of winning with your squad in our masra when you first land, also make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on being the best Warzone 2 player that you can be.
One of the largest changes in Warzone 2 compared to the original Warzone is the brand new backpack and loot system, and the players that learn to use it properly the quickest will win a lot more games.
Loadout
Early on, your inventory is broken up into two sections: your loadout and your backpack. Your loadout includes your two weapons' tactical, lethal, and field upgrade kill streaks.
Three plates, and then your gas mask.
Backpack
For your teammates, you can go over that weapon and press square or X to drop some of that type of ammunition, as it's effectively stored within Your weapon and the backpack are where things get really interesting because you can carry anything that you want within Warzone 2 to give you and your squad the best chance of winning, which you just have to access by pressing down on your d-pad.
For example, you could hold multiple kill streaks. I found a gas mask. Get yourself over here and pick it up. This also means if you loot properly when you get to the end game, you could potentially have a lot of utility to play with that will help you win the game, from kill streaks and kill streaks to bomb drones.
Loot prioritization
One big mistake I saw people making was forgetting to use what they had in their backpack, so just remember to press down on your d-pad and then whip what you need and drop what you don't, so you've always got space. There's no point in carrying around loads of ammo for guns that you're not going to use or extra gas masks or armor vests for no reason, but yeah, kill streaks are pretty overpowered.
The next big tip I've got for you with regards to starting Warzone 2 is your loot prioritization. One of the biggest gameplay changes is that you no longer start with three plate slots. So, other than a gun, the first thing you want to try and loot is a three-plate satchel, and you're guaranteed one of those from a safe cracker contract.
Now another thing to remember with plates is that you now naturally Carry three plates but can carry additional stacks of plates in your backpack, so it'll be up to you on how many of your backpack slots you use on carrying stacks of plates personally. I try and make sure you've got nine plates, six in your backpack, and three on your loadout at any given time now if you manage to find a larger backpack.
Buy station
Carry as many as you like. You can no longer purchase a loadout drop for your squad, but you can buy your loadout guns if you're after a specific weapon.
So, if you find a good ground loot SMG, you might just want to buy yourself an assault rifle or a sniper to give yourself a strong setup from the get-go, but the thing that's drastically changed is that what's now the gear tab within, the buy station there, is now a stock list that limits what you can buy, so you can't just buy 5,000 UAVs anymore, but there is a brand new edition that for me is a huge game changer in squad modes.
revive, Pistol Now it's situational, but no longer do you need to run out and risk getting the res off; instead, you can use the revive pistol and get them from a distance. Just don't miss the shot though; not all buy stations have the same stock, so there's no guarantee of getting a specific item from the store.
If you're after a revive pistol, for example, make sure you also loot medical cabinets to increase your chance of getting one, but otherwise.
Gas masks
Eyes by bomb drones, county UAVs, gas masks, and a lot another big tip for you to do better in Warzone 2 is to remember the gas hits hard. They've made a lot of changes that stop you from being able to camp out in the gas for long periods of time without a gas mask, which we kind of got used to in War Zone 1.
You're fully healed when you're in the gas, so try and rotate early and play for the power positions. I could see a lot of people dying from the gas as they waited too long to move into the zone. Keep that in mind; don't die from the gas. Now as Warzone players, we all want to get our loadout as quickly as possible, and in Warzone 2, it's no different.
Currently, there are two ways you can get it in the game. The first is when strongholds open up at the end of the first circle. If you go to the stronghold and clear out the AI, you'll get it. Earn the loadout drop This is the fastest way to get your complete loadout in the game, and you'll also get a black sight key, which can then get you even better loot to help you win at endgame.
The second way is that this is the halfway stage of the game. Loadout drops will be dropped in from a plane flying across the map; these are not unique to you and anyone can grab them, so expect some big fights to go down as everyone will get drawn towards them. One tip I would say though is to ping the location next to the loadout drop as if someone grabs it the icon will disappear from the map and it may be very difficult for you to be able to find the loadout drop as there's no red smoke like there was in war zone one otherwise you just need to buy the guns you want from the buy station like we saw earlier in the article though, you won't get your perks.
Perks
With loadouts being harder to get in war zone 2, perks are going to be even stronger, especially as it allows you to get four in total, the strongest of which in Warzone 2 is going to be high alert because, as our is a pretty large map, being able to tell the direction of an enemy if they spot you is a huge advantage.
perks are Definitely run that if you can. Also, running fast hands for quick reloads and equipment usage is also really helpful in larger squad modes, but for me, you can't choose your perks individually in Warzone currently, so I'd suggest going for the Specter package, which gives you double time cracker.
Spotter, and ghost, and then Commando is a strong second option if you want high alert and fast pass. My next tip for you in Warzone 2 is that the safe cracker contract is the new scavenger and can be completed super quickly, especially. In squad modes, when you grab the contract, three safes will then appear at the same time, which you can go to at any time, so you could have one person land on the contracts and quads and then one go to each individual safe and get the contract and a ton of cash almost instantly.
It's a little higher risk, but with players not being able to shoot you down with a pistol in the sky anymore, it can take a little bit more time to land, making this the perfect opening strategy. One of my next big tips for you to start off with in Warzone 2 is to remember that Luke can actually be quite consistent in the game, so try and choose a drop location and learn it the best that you can.
