Mw3 update - zombies trailer, mastercrafts, bosses and more!
So first, let's quickly watch and go over the new zombies. Okay, that was pretty cool. It definitely gave off some hardcore creepy zombie vibes. Starting off, there's this tornado here on the normal zombie map, so I don't know if that's going to be an event or part of one of the missions you do.
Then we see the portal we see The Scorch your wonder weapon this is nothing new it's already in the game there appears that there's going to be a new, boss fight and this doesn't appear to be in the dark Aether area so I assume you're probably going to be fighting the giant warm again or maybe a different version of it for the final act four mission then we get a look at the new schematic weapon and this works just like the Hell's Retriever this is a throwing knife but it's been dark Aether fied and you throw it and it goes between all the different zombies, so this is going to be one of the new schematics you're able to get and you'll be able to spawn in game with this and I assume the new dark ether areas is where you'll be able to get this schematic, then after that we got the vr11 he shoots a human and he turns into a friendly zombie that then proceeds to attack the rest of the humans around him then we've got the new portals and when you teleport through these the other side looks very familiar, yes it's been dark aied.
But if you played Almaza, this is Alpha Fortress, so this is an area where, if you play DMZ, you are very familiar with this area. The new difference is that there's some dark ether crystal. There's also something else that I saw here. Look at how he switched to the pistols. This is the fast pistol draw.
You can't do this with the ray gun in game, so I don't know if this is going to be a new upgrade to the ray gun or if this is a buff they're including with it, but he is straight up doing the pistol stance thing where he pulls it out really quickly, and that's normally an attachment. You have to put on the pistols to get are this could be something that was just included in the trailer and it might not actually make into the game we've seen that before with some of the Treyarch zombie trailers, sometimes they include things that aren't going to be possible to do in game but hopefully the ray gun needs a buff the ray gun's kind of mid then we get to see more of the worm boss fight here more of albraa Fortress, appears to be an escort mission in the dark ether Rift more of the boss fight and then we get to see the bunny and yeah that is it I am super hyped for this I'm sure there's more we could break down with this but we are less than 24, hours away from being able to play this for ourselves, so we'll be making guides and articles on all that when it comes out but now let's dive into the full blog post now moving into the blog post the first thing we have is a quick 30second, teaser for the New Black cell battle pass and if you bought the Vault edition of Modern Warfare 3 you're already going to have all this.
Stuff so as you just saw once again they're going with a golden Black theme for the black cell battle pass this time they're throwing in some red here's some more of the items you get you're going to get the new abolisher operator, which does look pretty sick we saw a lot of this in the promo there you're also going to get the new weapon blueprint this is the main weapon that you get instantly with the black cell battle pass the last few weapons we got with the other battle passes was like a see-through clear weapon, and not the theme they're going with this time and I do think the other black cell battle pass weapons looked a little bit more in this we're getting a finishing move that's exclusive to Black cell 1, 100.
Cod points 20 tier skips, and then these are the bonus items you don't get immediately when you buy the black cell battle pass. These are items you get as you unlock different tiers in the battle pass, and if you didn't know, the black cell battle pass is once again going to be $30. You can't spend Cod points on it; it's got to be real money.
Here's the battle pass itself; we've already covered this, but there are three new weapons here; there's also the underbarrel flamethrower. Which is going to be a lot of fun and if you buy the black cell battle pass you get a start here so you can immediately go get the flamethrower, move up to the new grenade launcher go to the new sniper then to the new AR down here whereas if you don't buy the black cell battle pass you got to start right here at the A1 tier so it is going to take you a little bit longer to get the new weapons if you don't buy the battle pass or you don't buy the black cell battle pass but keep in mind if all you want is the new weapons and the new Under Barrel flamethrower, these are completely free you don't have to spend any money you just got to slowly work your way to these tiers and you'll unlock the weapons when you get here overview of some of the black cell operators.
I know I say this every time, but I'm tired of the black and gold theme. These are all starting to look the same between all the different black cell battle passes, and I guess yes, they're new operators. But I'm kind of just tired of the black and gold theme it's just not special anymore it was special the first couple times but now I'm over it this is the main black cell weapon you get the one that we just saw up there the man of war Haymaker shotgun blueprint so it's a shotgun blueprint, that's interesting and you can see this is a lot more glowy than what we saw in the top image up here so I wonder if this is going to be reactive and as you eat kills if it's going to get more ridiculous.
It features The Blood Rose tracers and Blood Rose pedal dismemberment, effect so we will be testing those out when that comes out this is a new vehicle coming in season 1 but this is the black cell skin on it so this is a free vehicle you'll be able to find in the game but if you buy the black cell battle pass you're going to get this skin you can apply to the coyote vehicle, and you're also going to get the flexed upon operator finishing move in the black cell battle pass I don't know hopefully that's pretty good the last few black cell battle passes the finishing moves have been kind of mid here's the New abolisher Black cell operator little is known about this mysterious black cell operator although if the glowing night vision goggles, black and gold armor and overall menacing look or any indication.
