News - Warzone 2 Season 4 Content Roadmap, Gameplay & Download
This is a classic from several previous Cod titles, especially World War II-centric ones, and I know Slammer just had the SG back during Vanguard a few years ago. The car 98k is coming back, so this got heavily requested. I think many months ago and especially with the return of rebirth people out there were asking about the kar9 AK and what do you know it's actually coming back so we're definitely going to be looking at some very classic rebirth style Clips coming up over the next couple of months cuz that bad boy is returning and we also have the spaz 12 shotgun which apparently can be a Keim mode so I guess there going to be an attachment to allow you to hold a Kimbo spaz 12 that sounds wild it is a semi-auto, shock gun so keep that in mind there's also the compound bow which got leaked all the way back during season 1 but according to leakers it's got moved to season 4 for whatever reason so that to be similar to the compound bow that we saw in the Cold War campaign, not like the crossbow that we currently have inside of mw3. But the one we saw several years ago, we also have what is rumored to be a shovel melee weapon and even a spear, so definitely haven't seen too many melee weapons added into this game as of lately, and we didn't really have that many in Modern Warfare 2 either, so not surprised to see some more of those as far as after-market parts do go.

There is one rumored for the RGL 80 Launcher. Not sure what it'll do, but it'll probably fire some different type of ammo; we also have one that's rumored for the bow 27. Which may give players laser ammunition something that I'm guessing is going to be futuristic in line with the atlas corporation, that sounds like fun there's even one for the MP9, aka the fjx Horus which will give you a drum mag not sure if it's just the mag or something else again there's early gameplay out there of some of these amps for season 4 there were data Min and force loaded into war zone mobile I'll make a separate article about these soon but as of now this is premature info and could be a little out of date from when we end up seeing these released, there is also going to be an amp that turns the Morse into the blunder bus, this sounds wild so this will shoot multiple bullets at once the blunder bus was a lot of fun to use back during Advanced Warfare, can't remember what other games the blunder bus was in Call of Duty wise but yeah turning the Morse into that sounds demonic and lastly there's also going to be an aftermarket part for the M4 called the Jack bow wolf I believe it might turn it into a semi-auto, weapon and there's even ones that are unnamed that are for the Basilisk pistol and even the castoff 762.

So we're going to be seeing more amps for Modern Warfare 2 Weaponry, but then moving into operators, here's the following list of upcoming characters that should be dropping at some point soon, so these could just be code names, not actual names for these people, but we have somebody named thy, we have Sage somebody named void.
Hammer thorn who I believe is a character that was in Modern Warfare 2019, he should be coming back and lastly we have Woods who as of right now is rumored to be a pre-order bonus for Black Ops 6 so we should be seeing just about all these characters added in as playable operators at some point during season 4, and some of them of course could be saved for season 5 or later but we're typically used to seeing a good two new operators via a battle pass maybe even a crossover one not sure who that would be in the season 4 battle pass I'll keep you guys posted on that one but we usually see a good two to three new operators throughout a season two at launch maybe one during mid-season excluding, some collaborations.
The warzone season 4 update
But now moving into war zone and rebirth Island funny enough not much is known whatsoever about what is coming to Battle Royale or Resurgence, with our fourth season we obviously still haven't seen Battle Royale ranked and I'm not sure if that's even coming for zakhan to be honest with you I'm kind of guessing that they're going to save that for verdansk later this fall I could be totally wrong about that but other than that something did get discovered as of a few days ago and we're not sure what the context is here but something called mutations for war zone got found so it has to do with reskin field upgrades, equipment, perks something about a zombie bunker so there could be a zombie LTM coming to war zone in season 4, or that's laying the groundwork whatever was that of mine could be laying the groundwork for Poss POS haunting event in a couple of months from now it's a little unknown but there were some theories about how maybe we end up seeing the bunkers reskinned into Fallout vaults, to kind of go along with that collaboration.
That's totally possible considering the teaser as of recently that there's going to be more surprises with those bunkers. At some point soon, it's unclear if that means before the start of season 4 or during it. I also wouldn't be surprised if we ended up getting a Black Ops 6 event of some sort, whether it's a challenge one or a live event where we get to react to a trailer live in the game.
Who knows how they're going to do it? I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see some Black Ops 6 Easter eggs and references.
The zombies season 4 update.
Within season 4 but coming towards the end here we have zombies I'll of course be making separate individual, articles talking about each and every game mode as time goes on and as we learn more information, but as far as zombies does go it's actually going to be a different content update than what we got in seasons 1 through three instead of just seeing a new dark ether Rift a new act Mission a new set of schematics, apparently we're not going to see any of that this time around in season 4 that formula should be coming back in season 5 but with our fourth season we're going to be seeing what is being called an unstable Rift reportedly according to ERS this is going to be a survival like update.
That acts like the void objective from Call of Duty Vanguard, so I'm assuming somewhere on Zikan, or wherever, you go up to this portal or some objective, and you initiate it, and it spawns you into a survival-like experience. Which is actually more in line of what we've been asking for the last couple of months not dedicated round base with full cinematics and Easter eggs and classic gameplay but some type of onslaught survival experience where we can grind camos in level up weapons or just hop on in W3 to kill some zombies without worrying about the extraction aspect of the mode, that could be coming in our fourth season on top of that we also have the wallet which has yet to release that's been leaked for several months not sure why that's not released yet but apparently that's ready to go and there's also rumors about Act five and act six maybe whatever this void objective, unstable Rift is will have Act five missions within it maybe there'll be Intel to find that serves as Act five but isn't in line with how acts 1 through 4 have worked that's all speculation right now but as far as an act six could go maybe that's being saved for the final Rift in season 5 and could be extended a bit into a season six with the haunting.
