All phantom ghost event rewards!
Drop back in for Dan and experience the rush of Call of Duty action on the go. Rewards are free to claim in Call of Duty: War Zone mobile once unlocked by the community. So they did give us a nice graphic over on Twitter today that says to earn rewards across Call of Duty.
It does say Ghost Golden Phantom; we have the X12 and M4 blueprints. Golden Flame and Heavy Thunder. We then have an emblem. We then have a vinyl as well as a player card. So what's interesting is that these are the exact same rewards that were featured in the pre-registration, offering condemned ghosts and those other cosmetics.
With all of that. I'm like, okay, it looks like they're just giving us the same rewards with a different color palette, but you have to unlock these through a different method, so it says earn rewards across Call of Duty.
Community challenges in all modes
It seems like it's probably going to be a case where there's community-driven challenges, such as getting 1 billion kills into 500, 000 matches.
It's probably going to be something along those lines, but it won't just be challenges that we as a community do inside of Warsen Mobile; I think across the entire Cod Series, it might get a billion kills, but those kills could count from MW3, multiplayer. Or regular War Zone and War Zone Mobile, that's like how they're going to handle these rewards, so if anything, it'll be one of the easiest events and easiest ways to obtain brand new free content since we as a community have to go ahead and work together to get these; they aren't going to be individual challenges we have to do in any specific game.
Now, it does say on the right, join the fight play, earn win, we have a QR code you can scan to start downloading War Mobile, it says link your Activision account to the mobile experience, play Operation Day Zero to earn rewards, then claim Community rewards in stores can also be used inside of MW3.
Regular War Zone and War Zone Mobile, so most rewards I want to say that get dropped through mobile will also be transferable to the main Cod series.
Fast & easy unlocks for day zero.
I'm sure that'll also apply to Black Ops 2024, but I do think these milestones are going to be hit relatively quickly, especially if the Operation Day Zero event is tracking some of our progress as a community in a game like MW3 or regular war zone. We're probably going to hit those milestones.
Within the first day or two or at least a week tops, so definitely expect all these rewards to become accessible within the first couple of days of Wars Mobile coming out, if not on the exact same day, if we as a community end up hitting all those milestones on time, so it'll be a pretty quick and easy event to end up burning through with not much effort needed individually since it'll be a collective type of experience for all of us to enjoy, and we don't really have too many community events in COD; we get maybe one or two a year like this, so it's cool to see Now, considering the recent blog post that does confirm Wars Mobile is going to be hosting weekly events.
Weekly events coming to call of duty
I hope all those events still pop up in the MW3. Event tab just so that it raises more awareness to people out there who might not have or have a mobile installed, and especially for those people out there who are interested in unlocking as many free cosmetics as possible considering that there's going to be a number that you can end up unlocking in Mobile that you can bring into a game like MW3, or regular war zone. So even if let's say a mobile event is offering a bunch of cosmetics that can only be used on your phone, let's hopefully still get some promotion and advertisement for that inside of the main series to ensure everybody knows what's going on, but I'm sure Black Ops 2024 will also very smoothly integrate with the wars of mobile experience, and we'll end up seeing a bunch of Black Ops and TR theme cosmetics and events that end up dropping while we're on.
Vortex event for warzone mobile too?
the go, but as far as the new Vortex event does go, that's going to be dropping. A couple of days after Wars on Mobile, that's going to be something that I thought would have been similar to the season 1 Vortex event, but now I'm not so sure, so yes, we are getting some new map reskins or remixes.
And they'll sit alongside the existing Vortex maps in a dedicated playlist, but there will be an in-game challenge event that doesn't seem like it's an XP-focused one. Like the first Vortex event, it does say we have to play across all games to unlock rewards, so it sounds like there'll be actual challenges we have to do, and the Vortex event will stretch into War Zone Mobile.
I'm not sure if that means we'll see any Vortex maps on mobile, but I do think our progress while playing war with mobile will somehow count towards the Vortex event, whether it's completing x amount of objectives, getting x amount of kills, calling x amount of kill streaks, or whatever that may be.
It does look like Vortex will be tied to mobile, unless that was just a typo in the Cod blog right now and doesn't actually account for anything other than MW3 multiplayer.
Exclusive rewards & battlepass items
The last thing I'll mention is that there is a lot to look forward to with War Zone Mobile that I'll be covering here on the channel every single week like I mentioned earlier it does already say in the blog that with season 2 specifically, there are five exclusive Rewards were released if you own the season 2 battle pass and I think every season going forward will probably offer something similar where if you own the pass and hop onto war zone mobile they'll be like five different rewards you can get that maybe you can only use on the phone but there'll be rewards like blueprints, emblems. Whatever the case may be, that's cool on top of the in-game currency you can work towards while playing Wars on mobile that you can then redeem to unlock exclusive rewards, such as that iced-out Valaria skin, and hopefully more of those exclusive rewards that maybe you can only unlock on mobile can still be transferable into MW3 and Main War Zone in the future, but I'm sure there'll be instances where that won't be the case, but it's still cool to cover nonetheless.
