top 5

Welcome back everybody. Clint You're here today with classic firearms, and if you're joining us for the first time covering our top whatever of Call of Duty, welcome! This is our first time covering the original Modern Warfare 2, released in 2009; I graduated high school that year. We're talking the top five guns of the original Modern Warfare 2, and I'm starting off with the iconic The legendary, and arguably best shotgun in all of cod, the Sparse 12 This gun is very unique, very complicated, but a whole lot of fun, and I do say it is arguably the best shotgun because, if you are dual wielding the 1887s, you just kind of like dual loading interventions.

This gun can be shot both in semi-auto and pump action, even though in the game it was pump action only. It's a really unique gun. It is one that, if you have the stock folded like this, you can't actually see the sights; that's kind of fun, but it is unique in that system again. Going from semi-auto, let's see We've got all sorts of levers and stuff.

Two pump actions there we go. Just like that, did you see what I did? There are a lot of buttons and switches. What if we took you to the range and I showed you firsthand how to do it? Just like that, and talk about being freaking cool. This saying is neat. It's a complicated piece of machinery, but man, is it really freaking cool?

The recoil impulse feels awesome. The gun itself is overall a really unique design, and even though you just got this literally hunk of metal as the stock, it's actually pretty comfortable. Something hit my chin at some point, but, you know, whatever man shoots 12 gauge, Run some slugs like I just did and have a good time with your spouse.

Let's move on to our next pick, the Barrett 50 cal., but arguably—not even arguably—this is the best semi-auto sniper rifle in the game, shooting that massive 50 BMG cartridge. I mean, look at this freaking thing right there. If that were to hit you in real life, you're going to be annihilated just like I was multiple times in the game.

What I have here in front of me is the Barrett m107 recoil-operated magazine-fed semi-auto, and the awesomeness that this gun is and the quick scoping that took place with this rifle is just absurd. I'm going to take it to the range and try it, or at least mag dump it, and let's go. Yeah, the Barrett 50-caliber semi-auto is awesome.

How does it feel to shoot? Even this thing kicks like an ass, and yeah, that's spicy. And all 30 pounds of it are totally worth it. I've already talked all about the specs of this thing. How does it feel to shoot? It feels amazing. I mean, you can definitely tell you're shooting a 50-caliber.

I mean, how hot is that? That's pretty spicy. Ranch on this giveaway and give away an M200 intervention—what more could you want? Now let's talk about UMP number three. Pick the best SMG in the game.

Just like the Barrett 50 cal. with its iconic sound, the UMP-45 also had that really iconic sound. Kill was short and sweet, and it really just made your enemies mad. This gun is super cool. All polymer designs are obvious except for the barrel chambered in 45 ACP.

Taking those iconic stick magazines is just all in all super cool. It still gives you the HK slap, but it is a chunky boy, and I can tell you right now that shooting it in real life isn't as cool, but it's still a lot of fun. Let's go see. The HK ump, now granted this is a Tommy-built TMP 45, has already—I've already mentioned it—put it this way.

HK wanted to do more of a modern take on the nine-millimeter favorite MP5, but Chamberton's 45 ACP made it super lightweight. I mean, the whole gun is pretty much polymer; it's all plastic, but it's very durable and works very well. It utilizes just a direct blowback system, so as you'll notice, it's got a little bit of a jump and a little bit of a jump there a little bit of recoil to it, but it's not bad, and you'll notice that too.

I can still get the HK slap going, and there we go, ready to rock and roll now. Let's put the iron sights on it. It does have like a flip side here, so if I wanted to go with more of an open circle site. I could, but the ones we know from the game obviously, that little u-notch site, typically these are found to be more suppressed, which is awesome.

45 is a great round for two suppressors, however, this does have a really weird thread pitch to it for direct thread applications, and it's also an oversized tri-lug adaption, so trying to find those parts and pieces to make it work a little bit more complicated. Anyway, let's finish this round off or finish this magazine off and talk about our next one.

Yeah, two hits is about right for me; at least my number-two pick is the best assault rifle that you could have in that class for not only Modern Warfare 2 but also Modern Warfare 3: ACR. It's actually even older than the scar kind of thing, but ultimately again a polymer lightweight design, super freaking cool.

It shoots so well with a low recoil impulse and is really accurate, and it just looks good. But you know what it does better than looking good? It shoots well, too. Take it to the range, show it off there, and let you guys decide if it's the best in real life too, like it wasn't like two modern warfare games.

So in the early 2000s, comes out or is produced or I should say actually is designed, before the FN SCAR we all knew and loved the Scar. If you look at the Scar 16 and compare it to the ACR, there are some similarities, but how does it shoot? Man, it shoots so well. This is a modular take on, well, the modern rifle really, the 556 cartridge of course, and it's a collaboration between Magpul, which many of you might know is a great accessory company, and Bushmaster; we're actually Remington; this gun has gone through the hands of a couple of different manufacturers, and what can I say other than this thing just feels great to shoot very light recoil again?

The 556 cartridge is nothing remarkable, when it comes to recoil anyway, but this being a nice lightweight rifle, it's one that has been made famous in multiple article games, not just Call of Duty, but look at Ghost Recon; other ones that aren't coming to mind right now anyway, but ah, how does it shoot?

It shoots really, really well, with very smooth action, and again, the ambient controls are something that I just really appreciate about that; that's an earlier design or an earlier feature that you just don't see in a lot of rifles today. So anyway, the adaptive combat rifle modularity and a combat rifle that's just too freaking cool to shoot are why it's a little bit higher up on the list. So with all of that being said, let's talk about our number one 360-no-scope king, the M200.
