News - The Warzone 2 Season 4 Battlepass Update Revealed. New Operators, Weapons & Skins
And the spaz, plus maybe a compound bow—that would be ridiculous now. There's also melee weapons like the shovel or the spear that could pop up in the classified sector later. We have seen melee weapons added via the mid-season update in the past, but they could also be added randomly through bundles or random unlocks.
We'll have to wait and see, but there are also aftermarket parts that will inevitably be featured in the battle pass somehow.
Aftermarket parts coming in season 3
Usually we'll end up getting one amp through the main battle pass map and maybe one with the classic fight sector. That's not always guaranteed, but there's plenty of amps that are apparently coming in season 4 for the RGL, the M4, the Morse, the FJX Horus, and even the castoff 762, as well as the basilisk.
A lot of mono Warfare 2 weapons are getting amps this season now.
Blackcell season 4 content pack
As far as black cells go, we always end up getting a brand new operator as a part of the black C bundle that costs $30. By the way, the base battle pass is just 10; there's usually a battle pass bundle that comes with tier skips for about 20 bucks, and then Black Soul will cost 30 bucks.
You'll get one new character and then several animated and active operator skins for a number of different characters, either some older ones or all the newer ones. In that pass, you'll get several Tracer blueprints with badass dismemberments. Again, when it comes to Black Cell or cosmetics and bundles, those are, of course, for people who care about the cosmetic side of Call of Duty and have the money to spend.
You don't have to buy these bundles or any of these cosmetics to enjoy the game, but I think Black Cell has definitely stepped up quite a bit over the last couple of seasons with even better Tracer blueprints that are worth your 30 bucks. That's a lot of money; that's half the price of the game, so if you care that much about the cosmetics, you're definitely getting your money's worth if you're using all those blueprints and operator skins over the course of the game cycle.
Black ops 6 battlepass material ??
but I'm also really curious if we'll see any Black Ops-themed content in the season 4 battle pass. Considering that the reveal is just around the corner and the Xbox Showcase Event is also on June 9th, pre-orders are going to go live. I'm really curious if we're going to see any type of numbers-themed animated cosmetics either in the battle pass or through bundles.
There's lots of potential with how they can kind of set up the Black Ops integration. Set up the next Call of Duty title through black cell offerings through the battle passes through in-game challenge events; lots of opportunity with that, which I'm really crossing my fingers for, but I want to wrap up by reminding you guys about War Zone Mobile Exclusive Battle Pass Tiers.
Wz mobile exclusive battlepass tiers
I'm not kidding, you get more bang for your buck with the battle pass if you play on mobile. So if you buy the base version of the battle pass or even Black Cell, you can get some exclusive cosmetics that you can only use in War Zone Mobile, but you'll see them right away in your battle pass sector while you're playing on the phone, so you can get anything from exclusive Tracer blueprints.
Possibly an operator skin and then a bunch of other cosmetics like calling cards, emblems, charms, and things that don't transfer to the main game, but I think in a perfect world it would be phenomenal. If you log on to War Zone Mobile and claim your battle pass exclusive tiers, then you could bring those into the main game.
They need to make that happen either at the end of this game's life cycle or hopefully in Black Ops 6 just to give more reason to hop onto Warzone Mobile and more reason to have this interconnected experience. I think it's great that you get extra stuff for the same price by playing on mobile, but you have to be able to bring that into MW3 in the regular war zone. That's just my opinion, at least, but is about it.
