News - The Warzone 2 Season 3 Weapons. Bal-27 & Mors - Advanced Warfare
I wouldn't be shocked if they brought some of those variants and skins back through some type of event in Modern Warfare 3 or maybe through a method you have to pay for, but yeah.
Advanced warfare 2 may happen
I think when it comes to bringing advanced warfare weapons back , it has me really intrigued to see if Sledgehammer ends up doing a futuristic or jetpack title again in the future. I mean, there's been a cry for it for the last couple of years. I know you guys might disagree with that, but there are a good amount of folks that want to see an advanced warfare sequel, and funny enough.
Sludgehammer was actually trying to work on a sequel to Advanced Warfare FA by Activision and ended up shooting it down in favor of a cold war erod they were supposed to do in 2020, then they told him to do Vanguard for 2021.

And then they were forced to make a carry forward sequel type game, which is Modern Warfare 3 that picks up where MW2 left off, but hey, we did see an LTM in mod Warfare 2's life cycle called Havoc, which did incorporate some boots off the ground type gameplay, so is it really out of the question to see a jetpack type of mode added maybe in season 3?
I mean, with the fact we're getting two Advanced Warfare weapons, it might even mean that we end up seeing other Advanced Warfare-type rewards, whether it's through the battle pass for emblems, calling cards, or decals. Something along those lines could even be an in-game challenge event that's XP-focused or not that will also reward you with some Advanced Warfare theme rewards that would be pretty damn cool, but fingers crossed for a jetpack-type LTM.
I think at least having one wacky type of experience every season for multiplayer just really increases replayability and makes the game that much more engaging, especially if that mode drops during the mid-season update. It keeps the season alive for a little bit longer, just like with the Warhammer mode you're seeing gameplay of in the background.
It's kind of a universal experience that could be brought back later without the Warhammer-themed jug skins but fits perfectly with the collaboration. So imagine seeing an advanced warfare-type LTM. I mean, we have seen the Havoc Mode in Modern Warfare 2; we saw heavy metal heroes during Black Ops 4's blackup mode, which brought jetpacks back, so that would be incredible, let alone thinking about maybe even a jetpack variant for War Zone.
I mean, that would be interesting to see for an April Fool's joke or just an LTM that lasts a couple of weeks.
Themed seasons & mw3 rumors
Remember that rumor that ended up being released before the launch of Modern Warfare 3? This came from Pro reborn, and I know some other leakers were kind of corroborating on this leak; they were suggesting that we were going to be seeing themed seasons throughout MW 3's life cycle to continue celebrating the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty.
Now quote, unquote around the grapevine. There were rumors that every season would be themed around an older Cod title, which would then bring back Maps weapons operators and cosmetics themed around that title. As cool as that probably sounds, I know I was one of the advocates against this when this rumor first dropped because, as you know, MW3 deserves its own identity.
We should hopefully see post-launch cinematics that further the narrative. And have their own story going on, that wouldn't really make sense if you ended up having the whole season themed around a game like Advanced Warfare.

But that doesn't mean that with every season we get for the remainder of the life cycle, we can't still get a couple of pieces of content from an older game to also celebrate 20 years of cod while that content can sit alongside. With the serious material that MW3 is adding in, such as new operators, a new cut scene, and a new DLC that furthers the post-launch story.
I personally want to see the A4 and the omm DLC weapons from Advanced Warfare added to MW3. I mean, if the EM1 got added to Vanguard, they could add some futuristic weapons to a game like MW3. I really hope to see that, but it does look like if there's any advanced Warfare content coming to this game, it's going to be within the third season.
It's kind of weird how before the game even dropped Advanced Warfare weaponry and content such as an emblem and whatnot was leaked out for this game's third season. I'm not sure how that leaked out so soon, but it looks like season 3 is one to look forward to if you guys are fans of Call of Duty from 2014.
