News - The New Warzone 2 Operator Skins You Must Unlock. Winter 141, Hawk Soap, Monster - Season 3
It's not crazy skin or anything; it's just a campaign look; it's a clean look for soap. Nope, unintentional there, but I do think there's a chance they end up just dropping the skin through a random battle pass sector. They probably won't do a bundle, but hey, maybe they end up doing a bundle for him at some point in the future.
I think it's funny that War on Mobile even used a variant of this skin. As of recently, there was this red-looking variant of the exact same soap hawk look. I think you were able to get it for free through an event that was only available for a limited time during the regional testing. It wasn't even an event that was out when the game globally came out, but this skin has been seen everywhere.
It's really weird to see how much they've used it for promotions. Yet he's just not released, so hopefully this is a sign that this skin ends up being dropped in season 3, because I know a lot of you guys out there are really waiting for another classic campaign skin, but I also want to talk about the brand new monster collection, which really has me excited because they've done quite a few collabs with monster as of recently with Modern Warfare 2 and even Modern Warfare 3.
New blue monster skin rewards
There have been several operator skins released, blueprints, and other cosmetics like decals, charms, and calling card emblems, but there's apparently another collection that got added to the game's files with the launch of season 3. The usual data miners on Twitter did go ahead and report that there is a low-profile skin that's all blue, and I'm really looking forward to this one because, obviously.
I'm very biased towards blue; it's the theme of my channel, and the skin just looks really damn clean, so this is a skin that's coming out probably in season 3. I had to guess there's also a vehicle skin, and there's even two blueprints. One of them is for an LMG that I thought was going to release last season when that Beast operator released it, but that operator ended up releasing it for free if you just typed in a code at {733}, redeem.
It wasn't really tied to any type of major promo where you had to buy Monster Energy drinks and then scan receipts. That was a system that we saw during the launch window where if you did that and you scanned some receipts, you were able to get operator skins a blueprint and some other cosmetics, but there's another blueprint that never came out for an LMG.
There's also another blue blueprint for it; it looks like an SMG. As you can see on screen, there is some gameplay that's surfaced on the Cod Warfare forum, and forward leaks are over on Twitter. I'll put all that footage up so you guys can see, but there's definitely another monster collection coming to the game; it's unclear if they're ever going to release some of these monster items through a bundle.
Is there going to be an in-game challenge event where you can unlock some of these items for free either by hitting XP milestones or doing actual challenges? That's a question, but there's also an emblem called the C decal. Possibly even a camo will come to the game that's monster-themed. So quite a few cosmetics are coming to the game that we're really excited about, and hopefully most of these are released for free and not through an overpriced bundle or anything, but they could even do another promo where if you just type in a certain code online, you'll get it, or there'll be a way in which you have to get that code by maybe buying a few more drinks.
We'll just have to wait and see.
First look at mid season operator
But there's also this really weird skin, for by line that to my understanding, isn't tied to a bundle as of right now. It's pretty cool-looking. It may be tied to a pack that ends up releasing during the mid-season update, but with the launch of season 3. I'm actually surprised there aren't too many cosmetics that got leaked out that aren't tied to the bundle, right?
For the most part, all the cosmetics that leaked out have been revealed to be a part of certain bundles or certain bundle collections. For example, there's a free Nolan skin you're going to end up getting by purchasing two coneing themed packs part of the same collection, so I think as of now it's best to wait until season 3 Reloaded before we learn more about where some of these cosmetics are from, and we'll obviously learn more about the upcoming bundles that are going to release before the start of season 4, which is going to be at some point in late May, but that is about it.
