News - The Huge Warzone 2 Zombies Season 2 Update Was Just Revealed. New Map, Walking Dead Event & More

The walking dead & mw3 crossover event trailer breakdown
First up, of course, seeing the Gameplay trailer in the background shows a bunch of pretty cool things here. One of the main things, of course, is just the Walking Dead crossover event for season 2, which, as we obviously talked about in my previous article, revealed the official key arts for War Zone and multiplayer, which reveal a bunch of new operators here.
This really cool Ghost Operator skin has blue flames. It seems really sick. Vibes are here again. I guess it's new. Operator skin with a Ghillie suit, pretty standard but still pretty cool, and then on the right, of course, the Rick Grimes operator, one of the main operators from season 2. We're not so sure if Rick Grimes is going to be in the battle pass or in a store bundle.
If it's in the battle pass like the spawn battle pass back from MW2 last year, that would be pretty cool, although in a bundle. I guess is fine as well on the trailer here we get a lot of cool looks at not just ukhan, in its zombies form it's a recreation of The Walking Dead intro we have Rick Grimes of course mov as a part of this apparently which is interesting and michon as well which is going to be that other operator a part of this crossover update, but what's interesting is that throughout this trailer you're seeing Fortune Keep as well.

It's not exactly how it was back a couple years ago; it has a bit of a, you know, zombie tint to it. It could just be this trailer, but it looks a bit different here, and of course, Call of Duty YouTubers got sent out a bunch of different props with Fortune Keep Pois. Which shows that we're going to have different variations.
In Fortunes Keep, the winery will have a crack in the middle, there was an earthquake, and there's other zombie Easter eggs as well. on Fortune keep and based on this trailer, people are theorizing that potentially Fortunes Keep might not just be a Wars and Resurgence map, which is guaranteed to be, but it might also finally be a new zombie, you know, exclusion.
They're finally considering bringing it over here to zombies, having new contracts that got leaked out as well. Of course, I've gone through on the channel so many upcoming zombie leaks for new Easter egg contracts weapons. All this good stuff could all be a part of Fortune's Keep, based on this trailer.
It looks pretty likely in this trailer as well. You see a newspaper that says a hero officer returns to investigate mysterious zombs in Fortune's Keep, so they're teasing. The zomb in Fortune's Keep is obviously back again. Could this just be a zombie? Walking Dead Easter egg on Fortune's Keep, but only in a war zone; that's definitely possible.
Then you also have this teddy bear here. Mr peaks, which is directly found in MW3, zombies, which shows me that they're actually teasing, more of a zombies update as well as a you know Walking Dead event LTM a new map of course with Fortune's Keep, but in Zombies itself you have zombies down there as well, which look like exactly the zombies you're seeing in MW3 zombies, so a lot of cool teasers here gameplay clips stuff like that, so I'm pretty excited for that off-the-bat fortunes keep, which was a map we barely played, and as long as they do it right where the sky box is a bit different.
I'm not saying go as crazy as they did with the dark ether Sky Box because, again, the dark ether, you know, location in Zombies is literally just the Fortress POI from Almaza. But as I said in a previous article, when I'm there in the dark ether, I don't feel like I'm on Almaza; I feel like I'm in this really cool zombie area.
Now some of the areas do look familiar; I'm like, I remember this from, you know, Fortress, of course, but for the most part, I feel like I had a cool zombie experience. I think having a cool Sky Box really adds to that factor, so for Fortune, keep not saying go that crazy but still have a cool. Zombies-esque atmosphere to it to where you actually feel like you're in a zombie apocalyptic, area now for other map changes as well.
I feel like they're going to probably keep it pretty similar to how it looks in War Zone; they're not going to make that many changes, although the more changes, the better, right? But like we see right now with Ukhan, In Zombies, compared to War Zone, the map layout and buildings are all very similar.
There are some very slight changes, but for the most part, it's the same map, so Fortune Keep should be the same thing as well. Now. Detonate actually posts this concept here of what it could look like, pretty much saying that you know Fortune Keep could theoretically be an entire Tier 3 Red Zone location, so whether or not you teleport to Fortun Keep through Ersan, with a new, you know, dark Ether Portal.
I guess, or if you spawn separately from the menu into Fortun, keep in zombies, and then the whole map is just a red zone. We don't know for sure what's going to happen there; of course, we don't even know forun skape is going to be in zombies. I would say it's pretty likely, but regardless, I probably wouldn't want to see this here just because the whole zone being red is a little too much.
I would rather there be a big red zone, but as we see right now, a decent tier one zone and a decent tier 2 zone as well, just to be able to do, you know, lesser easier contracts and to be able to actually get into the map and progress and not just spawn right in and have to deal with all crazy zombies off the bat now again.
If you're teleporting there, that's a bit different; you could get prepped in Ukhan. Maybe you guys want to see that there. I'm not so sure.
New contracts finally releasing for mw3 zombies season 2!?
There are so many leaks about a variety of contracts. Easter eggs. Warlords, and updates for MW3 zombies, and you know, obviously. Fortune's Keep is a decent opportunity here to bring that content in a meaningful way to where if Fortune Keep was brought into zombies and we have the same exact contracts that we do right now in ö man, is that as exciting?
