News - New Warzone 2. Rotten Inferno. Camo Unlock & Update (rook Hrm9 Blueprint - Season 2 Week 8 Challenges)
Fast / easy rook blueprint unlock
As we saw with season 1, challenges typically ask you to use a lot of the newer aftermarket parts that got added in that season. These challenges aren't that tedious, but as far as the easiest ones go, go complete them here to quickly unlock your new camo and blueprint.
I would say getting operator double kills with the Jack Magift kit that's not bad; even first blood or King Slayer kills the recommended handgun that's doable, especially on Hardcore. But five kills while sliding in or being in midair with the recommended weapon are pretty easy. Three operator melee double kills are also fairly straightforward, and then seven operator tax T kills with the backsaw conversion.
That's also fairly simple if you're on a pretty good map with a fair enough lobby, but if you want to go into zombies and you really want to go and do it, 300 toxic damage kills with the recommended weapon are also not bad. 250, head shot with a longbow, you can just spawn right in with that, and none of these are really that difficult.
I mean, again, 350 kills while moving. I just feel like those take a lot longer in zombies; you're better off doing them in multiplayer. But yeah, these aren't too hard if you want to go into the war zone. You're pretty much just opening up chess and completing contracts, but I do feel like you can get at least five challenges done right off the gate just by playing multiplayer.
The rook blueprint reward preview
Now the reward for beating week eight exclusively is The Rook blueprint. Now this is a skin that has been leaked out for quite some time; it actually looks pretty damn cool. It's for the HRM. SMG I'll put some nice screenshots on screen so you can see them if you want to see the weapon inspected for yourself.
But that's cool to see an actual blueprint release through just completing five weekly challenges. I'm a fan of switching it up a little bit, where some weeks you get an aftermarket part, some weeks you get a blueprint, other weeks you get a camo, or whatever the case is. I'm a fan of them switching up what the reward actually is, but this isn't a bad blueprint by any means.
Animated rotten inferno camo unlock
However, the highlight of the week is certainly the fact that you can now unlock the rotten Inferno animated camo. Yes, it's beautiful, it's animated, and it reminds a lot of us zombie fans of the gory Croy Pack-a-Punch camo. This has been a topic that we've known about for quite some time.
Luckily, we were able to preview it in the game menu for the last month and a half or whatnot. Hammer's also posted promotional articles showcasing his camo. It looks brilliant. I mean, this is definitely worthwhile when it comes to having to complete at least five challenges each and every week, so about 40 challenges total, because, quick math: 5 times 8 is 40 right—five challenges each week for eight weeks—and that's what you get with this animated camo, so hopefully we end up getting camos just as pretty as this one every time you complete 8 weeks worth of seasonal weekly challenges.
I think this is definitely worthwhile now. I'm really loving the weekly challenge system; hopefully it comes back in just about every future Call of Duty. I'm also going to be committing to doing a article like this every single Wednesday whenever there's a new set of challenges to do just to show more love to whatever the aftermarket, part is, or whatever the reward is altogether. I love giving you my tips as to which challenges are probably the easiest to do.
Closing statements
But that is about it. This has been DK Dynamite; leave our thoughts. As we begin to say goodbye to our second season, season 3 is just a week away, and I can't wait to cover all the brand new marketing that's about to drop in the next few hours.
Stay tuned for plenty of other articles dropping later tonight. I really hope you've enjoyed it, and peace
