News - Modern Warfare Zombies Gave Us What Dmz Never Did
In this guide
Everything that you need to know about Modern Warfare 3 zombies is in this article. I'm making this article easier for you to access by making it sectioned, so if you feel the need to skip to a certain part or replay a certain part. I've made it easy for you and don't like the article right now after finishing the article.
If you're asking why I'm making this article even though a lot of other content creators made their articles. I would like to bring up the DMZ perspective, which is very important considering that we are talking about modern warfare zombies and that they are being very much compared to DMZ and outbreaks.
The basics
So let's talk about the absolute Basics what are you playing for when you are clicking that play button in Zombies what is your objective and gladly this version of zombies actually gives us quite a lot to do on the ekan map the first and the most glaring will be your main story line and this is very dissimilar to the DMZ, faction missions in Modern Warfare Zombies you don't get the option of choosing and picking your missions in instead you have one story line which is the main story line and missions already get Auto selected for you as you complete them this going to make for a much more fluid mission system because in Zombies the matches are much longer and you can complete way much more than you used to complete in DMZ in a single match of zombies the mission structure as I said is different, here you will have three different acts and each Act will have loads of missions and each Mission will have multiple tasks as you are completing these Tas tasks one by one you will be walking through that main story line and since this story line is specifically built and developed by Treyarch for zombies There's this possibility that certain missions.
Will actually teleport you or take you into a different map, built from the ground up specifically. For you to continue that story line on that map, we still don't have details on that, so we'll just have to wait and see.
Camo grind
When it comes to camos in DMZ, you might have heard about the serpentine camo, which is like the ultimate mastery camo of DMZ, while in Zombies we will have eight different. Mastery camos: we will have four camos for the Modern Warfare 2 guns and we will have four camos for the Modern Warfare 3 guns, and every single gun will have four big camos that are unlockable through challenges within the MZ.
To unlock any given camo, you will have to complete that challenge and complete it successfully for that challenge to count. So a quick example: if you have a challenge, let's say to kill 100 zombies, and you do kill 100 zombies, you don't instantly unlock that camo unless you successfully Xfill from that game, and we're going to talk about Xfilling later in this article, but just keep that in mind.
Now the camos that are coming the camos that are coming to Modern Warfare Zombies, as I said, are separate between MW2 and MW3. The MW2 guns will get their own gold variant, which is called Golden Ivory, and it looks as such. There's also the spinel husk, and it looks as such. And bioluminescent is Ultram Mastery C.
Basically, bioluminescent is the equivalent of Orion, and polyatomic is the equivalent of ARA. These camos will only be applicable to the MW2 guns; for the MW3 guns, we are getting golden Enigma ziron scale serpentinite, which is animated, and Borealis, which was also animated, and if you ask me, these camos look nothing like Serpentine.
These are way, way better than what we got in DMZ. I really wish that Serpentine was animated, had more flare to it, or had more glare to it. You can make sure that I'm going to grind these camels, and we're going to get to see them.
What else?
All right so after talking about the main story line and the zombie camo grind let's say you don't care about either, well there is no restriction, on playing the storyline, or playing the camel grind in MW zombies there is no threat of other players, so if you don't have a lot of time to put into the game and let's say you're a dad or a mom and you are working a 9 to5 and you just want to come back at late at night have a chill game with your friends perhaps modern Warf zombies is almost guaranteed, to give you that fun time you don't have to be highly competitive to have a good time in this game let's talk a little bit about the map and how the map is sectioned the map is sectioned into three difficulty zones the outside Zone will have very lowlevel, zombies and it is perfect for leveling up guns while killing easy zombies and getting easy contracts.
Map zones
And in general, you are not expected to be challenged that much on the outside on the first Zone when you start getting into the second zone, the third zone is where things start getting interesting the zombies will have more health and it will take a little bit more damage to kill these zombies, the middle zone is where you're expected to have more focus into the game looting contracts, and more will be more rewarding, within the second Zone the third zone is where things actually get crazy and you are not expected to go to the third Zone alone even bigger squads, need to make a really good effort to survive in the third tier Zone more than just zombies you will get mutations. Which have special attacks and you really need to be properly kitted to go in there talking about larger squads a simulation is making comeback alongside, with proximity chat so you can increase your squad in the game from a three-man squad to a six-man Squad and help each other out and you can also revive players from other squads, so in case you go down away from your team there's the possibility of you being revived, by another Squad and perhaps even joining them and you will have a lot of time to do that as each round is 6 minutes 45 minutes before the Zone starts spreading and then after the Zone starts spreading you have 15 minutes to xfill, if you can't get any of the public X fills you will get a final xfill.
The menus
But expect, heavy contact, from zombies, trying to swarm you as you are trying to get out coming from DMZ, usually when you call an xfill, there's a flare being launched into the air which alerts other players that you are trying to xfill in Modern Warfare zombies that is no threat so instead, the game will spawn a lot of zombies maybe even higher tier zombies on you while you are trying to xill to make it harder for you so keep your eyes peeled okay so that was the basics on how each match will go and what we are expected to do now let's talk a little bit about the menus and preparing for the match before you go in now if you are familiar with the MZ you will see that a lot of these menus are pretty familiar, but you will need to hear this out because there's a lot of new changes, especially coming from zombies first and foremost the silliest change, they are changing the word backpack.
